HIS DARK OBSESSION (Unknown Intentions)

Chapter 3: CHAPTER 3:Hidden Identity

**Eagles University, Moscow, Russia.**

Luxury walked into her faculty—so much thought running through her mind.

"Lux!" she froze at the sound of her name and slowly turned around instinctively, only to find Elmira running towards her like a kid chasing after his stolen candy.

Trailing behind were Vincent and Russell, both walking casually with their hands in their pockets—having a smirk on their faces.

"El–" Luxury barely had time to speak before Elmira hugged her so tightly her arms wrapped around her neck like a lost puppy who just found his way home.

Luxury stood there stiffened and confused—her eyes darting to the boys behind for clues.

Vincent raised his brows and shrugged at the same time giving the 'I don't know' look. Russell just chuckled under his breath.

"Is this how we greet now?" Russell teased. "Maybe I should try it one of this days"

They all laughed at the little joke except Luxury who gave a nervous laugh.

Luxury felt uncomfortable thinking as if her disguise would be noticed and Elmira was not helping matter at all.

She just clung unto Luxury.

She tilted her head and looked at Luxury with a confused look. "You feel small and slim just that you are a bit sturdy and taller than me!" Elmira described and pouted earning a smile from Luxury.

"I am just fat!" Elmira whined like a child. Russell and Vincent just laughed.

You are not fat, just that you are not to skinny!" Luxury complimented and they started walking to class.

Vincent and Russell just had smirks on their faces as they walked.

"So Luxury as a femboy, Are you gay or straight?" Elmira asked showing up in front of Luxury—walking backwards.

Vincent palmed his face in disappointment.

"She's doing it again?"

"Don't listen to her Lux! She has running mouth!" Russell tried to change the topic but Luxury didn't mind at all.

"Don't worry Russell, let her be." Luxury said with an assuring smile.

"I am not gay, I am bisexual!" Luxury said confidently to them and a thick but not awkward silence reigned for a moment as they walked—Elmira still moving backwards.

"Wow!" Elmira gasped dramatically with wide eyes and mouth covered by her palm.

"That means I have hope!" she flirted and they all laughed at her silliness.

As Elmira kept walking backward, still laughing and teasing, her foot caught the edge of a step.

She gasped.

"Aaaahhh!"

She started to fall.

But Luxury moved so fast. So fast for a 'normal' average person.

In a blink of an eye, Luxury reaches out and caught her by the waist, pulling her upright before she hit the ground.

Elmira eyes widened in shock as she found herself wrapped securely in Luxury arms.

It was as if everything stopped.

Vincent blinked.

Russell smile faded.

An Elmira? She looked at Luxury with flushed cheeks.

"Damn it, Lux... " Russell muttered under his breath.

"You move like a bodyguard or something"

Luxury immediately straightened and let go of Elmira gently.

"You should be more careful and watch where you are going." Luxury said coolly and calmly, trying to control the adrenaline that had just buzzed into her veins.

"Yeah, I will, but—whoa, you're strong and fast. Are you sure you are not something in the military or... Mafia?" Elmira blinked still holding unto Luxury arm.

Luxury forced a laugh. "Oh please! It was just luck and adrenaline rush"

But in her mind, she cursed herself. "it was too fast, too clean. Someone might notice."

And indeed someone was watching and noticing.

Unknown to her, a pair of cold, calculating eyes had been watching her and the whole thing from one of the upper balconies—Lustre Orlov.

He leaned on the rails, a smirk playing devilishly on his lips.

"Interesting..." he muttered to himself and left.

**Lustre's house – His private quarters**

Lustre walked into his lair, looking so dark as usual. His dark-red velvet curtains blocked any possible sunlight the wanted the make its way in.

He dropped his bag on the king sized bed immediately he came back from school.

He walked to the kitchen and took a whiskey from his wine cellar.

His cellar was custom-built and temperature-regulated—dim lights in it, leather seat and different level and brands of wine and spirits.

Lustre's kitchen wasn't cozy.

It was luxurious.

Everything gleamed in black.

He opened the whiskey bottle and drank from it as he went to a black glass workspace where he keeps his laptops and journals.

He sat on the chair attached to it—took a laptop and turned it on.

Different thoughts ran through his mind about the anonymous message that was sent to him the previous night.

A slow smirk appeared on his lips as he thought of some devilish things within.

He started tracking the anonymous message—his fingers drumming so hard on the keypads.

He took his whiskey at short intervals as he work.

Within thirty minutes he was through! He had cracked it.

"Done!" he muttered—his deep voice void with emotions.

He gave his last click as a devilish grin settled on his face.

"Wherever you are, I am coming for you!" he talked to no one in particular—got up from the chair tucking it back and shutdown his laptop.

Lustre walked to his cabinet and he bought out a switchblade knife—sharp, well piloshed and deadly.

He stared at it like it was a lover he hadn't touched and seen in years.

He took his phone and called three numbers— Jordan, Alexei and Ivan.

"Meet me here by 10pm!" that was what he would say.

No greetings, no pleasantries, nothing at all—only just command. Then the line went dead.

**At night — the same day**

Luxury walked in the quiet street of Moscow with Romeo.

Their laughter and voices were heard as they teased each other and talked.

Suddenly, Luxury froze on tracks as she felt some ominous feeling within her.

It was as if she was being watched—as if someone was following them.

Her eyes darkened.

She turned around but couldn't find anything suspicious.

But she knew something was there.

"What is wrong, Lux?" Romeo asked looking so confused as his smile faded slowly.

"We need to head home now, someone is following us." she explained her eyes still darting around for any clues.

Luxury dragged Romeo home by his right hand.

Romeo had a disappointed look on his face as he was being dragged home.

Frustration written boldly on his face.

He cursed the intruder that spoilt their fun.

They got home. Luxury went to her room and carefully brought out a sleek pistol from a box.

She checked it. Cleaned it loaded it and hid it in her pocket before going out of the room.

She was about to leave the house when Romeo pulled her back.

"where are you going right now?" his voice was stern but with a hint of fear in it.

"Stay here, I will be back!" she said.

But Romeo dragged her back again. "It is too dangerous, just forget about it!" he suggested.

Luxury was so adamant. "No one must know about us and you know that. I am with my gun, so don't worry, I will be back in an hour. If there is danger I would let you know!" she replied tapping his shoulders assuringly.

"Take care! Muah!!" she blow a kiss and ran out leaving the words Romeo was about to say stuck in his mouth.

He blinked fastly and just shook his head speechlessly and worriedly.

Luxury now alone, walked with determination.

Her expression was calm but her mind was burning.

"My identity must remain unknown for now and wouldn't hesitate to eliminate anyone who knows about me" she thought darkly and gave a sinister and cold side smirk into the night.
