Nine Tails' disgruntled complaints left everyone in the ninja world embarrassed.

What it said was logical and hit a nerve. Yet, people are inherently selfish. Especially in a brutal world like theirs, where power determines survival, relying on others is a risk no one takes lightly. In the ninja world, the strong are revered, and the weak are expendable. Whoever wields the most strength naturally dominates.

Given the power of the tailed beasts, no sane ninja would reject using them to gain an edge.

However, few expected Naruto and Nine Tails from the other world to have such profound discussions during their first meeting. Their exchange exposed Naruto's growing resentment towards Konoha's villagers.

Sarutobi Hiruzen: "Enough! Stop spouting nonsense. None of you are saints yourselves."

Ōnoki: "At least it seems unrelated to Iwagakure."

Shimura Danzō: "Hmph! Don't be too sure. If Nine Tails drives Naruto to hate Konoha, it could lead to a hatred of humanity itself."

Senju Hashirama: "Let's not jump to extremes. He's still human, isn't he?"

Uchiha Madara: "A mere human controlling a tailed beast's emotions? Laughable."

Uzumaki Kushina: "Watch your words! Minato sealed Nine Tails in Naruto for the village's balance and protection. The real problem lies with Konoha's leadership and their failure to support Naruto. If not for Naruto's intelligence and ability to understand his father's intentions, he might have misunderstood us completely."

Uchiha Madara: "How dare you, an Uzumaki descendant, talk down to me?"

Uzumaki Kushina: "Why not? Resurrect me, and we can settle it."

Uchiha Madara: "..."

The discussions left Konoha's ninjas uneasy. Naruto becoming a rogue ninja? It seemed unimaginable yet not entirely impossible. After all, even Orochimaru, once a legendary Sannin, turned traitor.

"That woman," Naruto muttered in annoyance. "Doesn't she have anything better to do than spy on me all day?"

In his mind, Naruto vented to Nine Tails:

"Hey, big fox, do you think that woman has a boyfriend? She must not! How else does she have the time to follow me everywhere? No privacy at all!"

Nine Tails stayed silent, its massive ears twitching. Naruto's chatter often left it exasperated.

"Man, I wish I could practice my chakra-wrapped attacks today, but she's staring holes into my back. It's so annoying!" Naruto continued. "Maybe I'll just leave a Shadow Clone to try things and report back later."

Nine Tails groaned internally. It had once believed it could provoke Naruto's anger and push him towards corruption. Instead, it found itself subjected to daily grievances from the boy, who now treated it more like a captive audience than a feared entity.

"Brat!" Nine Tails growled. "Stop your endless complaints, or I'll tear you apart!"

Naruto, unfazed, waved dismissively.

"Sure, sure. You've been saying that for two years now. If you could, you would've done it on day one."

Nine Tails was speechless. This boy was infuriating.

Nine Tails' head throbbed. Naruto's thought process jumped too quickly. The tailed beast grumbled, "Figure it out yourself! Or just release the seal entirely if you want to use my full power."

Nine Tails had previously tried to trick Naruto into breaking the seal, but the boy was far from gullible. Now, it could only hope repeated use of its chakra would weaken the seal over time.

Naruto smirked. "C'mon, big fox. I know being stuck in a cage sucks, but I can't break the seal even if I wanted to. Besides…"

Naruto hesitated. Both he and Nine Tails knew their trust wasn't strong enough to risk breaking the seal completely.

Naruto leaned against the mental cage, his tone serious:

"You always claim to be the strongest being in the world. But let's be real. My dad sealed you, didn't he? Doesn't that make him stronger?"

Nine Tails growled softly, unwilling to admit it.

"Look," Naruto continued, "even if I released you, humans wouldn't leave you alone. You'd face endless hunts and harassment. And if not me, someone else would eventually seal you again."

Naruto smiled, his voice softening. "Honestly, isn't it better to stay here? At least we can talk when we're bored. Think about it—no humans chasing you around, no cages worse than this one."

Nine Tails stared at the boy, momentarily silent.

Naruto's words lingered in the air, a curious blend of wisdom and naivety. Though they frequently bickered, their conversations revealed a developing bond—one that neither of them fully acknowledged yet.

Nine Tails huffed, its tails swishing behind the bars. Perhaps, just perhaps, the boy was worth tolerating after all.
