Chapter 198: 205-206
205: "Hikigaya X Honebami X Jabami"
Under the pressure from Haruno, Yukino finally ended up pressed right next to Hikigaya Hachiman.
Her thoughts immediately shut down, and she stumbled her way through the haunted house in a daze.
But in the darkness, she failed to notice the two hands tightly clasped behind her.
After clearing the haunted house, as usual, a staff member came by to sell the grayscale photos taken inside using a special camera.
Holding a promotional booklet, the staff member looked at the three of them with a puzzled expression.
No matter how much her brain burned, she couldn't figure out the relationship between them.
"Looks like they're sisters?"
"And the older sister seems to be trying to match her younger sister with the guy?"
But then—"Why was the older sister the one holding hands with the guy inside the haunted house?"
Hikigaya Hachiman quickly realized what she was thinking and shot her a sharp look in response.
The staff member flinched, then left with a sulky face.
As she walked away, Hikigaya faintly heard her mutter a not-so-friendly word: "Scumbag."
Hikigaya Hachiman let out a sigh of relief.
"Still want to go on the roller coaster?" he teased the still-terrified Haruno beside him.
"Of course. Why wouldn't I? We're already here," Haruno said through clenched teeth, her face pale, as she led the two of them to the roller coaster entrance.
Yukino looked at her older sister with concern. After a moment of thought, she finally spoke up: "Sis, maybe you should sit this one out. Hikigaya-kun and I can go together."
"Uh…" Haruno hesitated. After seeing that the roller coaster seats were in pairs, she stiffly nodded. There really wasn't much she could do there. "Then you two go ahead. I'll rest at the amusement park's maid café. Come find me afterward."
"Okay."
Haruno watched as the distance between her little sister and Hikigaya finally shrank significantly thanks to her efforts, feeling a bit gratified.
At least now, to an outsider, they no longer looked like total strangers.
Haruno knew that Hikigaya hadn't completely moved on from Yukino.
As long as the opportunity was right, their relationship could quickly develop! And when that happens… that woman Jabami Yumeko will have to taste the bitter fruit she sowed!
She waved goodbye to them as they boarded the roller coaster, then with trembling legs made her way to the maid café. First, she wanted to see what Jabami Yumeko was really planning.
.
.
.
On the roller coaster—
Hikigaya and Yukinoshita Yukino had taken the front seats, the most thrilling and intense position.
No one had said a word, but it was as if some unspoken agreement had drawn them to choose the seat full of endless possibilities—like playing Kokkuri-san. The stronger the suspension bridge effect, the better for mending a relationship.
"Nervous, Yukinoshita?"
"…Yes."
Yukino's voice was stiff, her pupils dilating as she stared at the never-ending tracks outside.
She subconsciously reached out her hand, just like back in middle school when she'd grab Hikigaya's hand whenever she got nervous.
Her soft fingers brushed against the broad warmth of Hikigaya's palm, a touch so comforting she couldn't let go.
But then she remembered—things weren't like before anymore… Feeling that she had overstepped, Yukino tried to pull her hand back.
But that soft, pale hand was gripped tightly by Hikigaya's.
"You came all the way out—might as well do what you want." Hikigaya said indifferently.
Maybe this was the last time he'd ever ride a roller coaster with Yukinoshita Yukino. Since their bond couldn't be cut cleanly, he didn't want to spoil the mood either.
That kind of melodramatic teenage angst was outdated.
Right now, he just wanted to do his best without betraying Yumeko.
Yukino was momentarily stunned. Blushing, she quietly slid the rest of her fingers into his hand, enjoying that brief warmth before the ride began.
"…Thank you," she whispered like a mosquito.
Warm, calm, and reassuring—Hikigaya's warmth passed through her hand into her heart, her heartbeat loud and clear with a meaning she didn't dare examine too closely.
The roller coaster began to move, gently rocking.
As if reminding Yukino not to get too greedy.
Reluctantly, she let go and grabbed the safety bar with both hands. When she looked out again at the long, towering track, there was no more fear in her eyes.
.
.
.
"Welcome!"
Jabami Yumeko, wearing a maid outfit and a pink paw-print mask, greeted Yukinoshita Haruno with a courteous bow.
Haruno glanced around. The maid café was empty except for Yumeko and a tall, curvaceous white-haired woman behind the bar dressed in a tight outfit.
This woman… looked oddly familiar.
Haruno couldn't immediately place her, but she'd definitely seen Honebami Miroslava before.
Haruno didn't look friendly, arms crossed, watching Yumeko's outfit critically. "Jabami Yumeko, you went to all this trouble to bring them to this café. What exactly are you planning?"
"Of course, for the pursuit of pleasure~" Yumeko replied cheerfully, completely ignoring the chill in Haruno's eyes.
"I've already told you. No matter what you're planning, don't drag my sister into it. Otherwise, even if you're part of the Hundred Devouring family—I won't let you off."
"Yes, of course. Miss Haruno, rest assured!"
Yumeko gestured toward Miroslava. "Let me introduce—this is my distant cousin, Honebami Miroslava."
"Miroslava-nee, this is Yukinoshita Haruno, daughter of the Chiba politician Yukinoshita."
At that name, Haruno's head snapped up. She suddenly remembered where she'd seen this woman.
Back when Councilman Kiwatari's home was raided, she'd seen Miroslava near the scene the night before.
Another member of the Hundred Devouring family—and judging by her presence, likely aligned with Momobami Kirari.
A flash of deep caution flickered in Haruno's eyes.
Just what are these two plotting together? Is this about Hikigaya? Or is it aimed at us Yukinoshitas?
Haruno started regretting agreeing to today's outing—she'd brought her sister into a potentially dangerous situation.
"Relax, Miss Haruno. I promise nothing excessive will happen~" Yumeko licked her lips, trying to reassure her.
But seeing that expression only deepened Haruno's unease.
"Would you like something to drink?"
"I'll have a hot cappuccino."
Haruno sat cautiously in a corner of the café, making sure every movement Yumeko and Honebami made stayed within her line of sight.
She kept her eyes locked on Yumeko's fingers, wary of her slipping in the same consciousness-suppressing drug from the day before.
Under her watchful eye, Yumeko obediently made a cappuccino and brought it over.
Just then, the café door's chime rang again.
206 Honebami Miroslava: Feel the Pain! ❤
"Welcome!"
A sweet smile appeared on Yumeko's face. Though her voice was slightly muffled by the cat-paw-printed mask she wore, it still bore a vague resemblance to Yukino's—just not enough to be obvious.
But as her bed partner, Hachiman Hikigaya immediately spotted the flaw.
He stared blankly at this familiar yet unfamiliar face, countless thoughts racing through his mind.
Yumeko? Why is she here?!
So she really knew about this… but does Haruno know too?
There's no way the timing of all this was a coincidence—at least not something Hachiman could believe. This clearly orchestrated setup made him seriously question the relationship between Yumeko and Haruno.
Since they were putting on a show, he figured he might as well play along till the end.
At the very least, he couldn't let Yukino find out that the girl in front of her was actually his current official girlfriend.
If their relationship were exposed... just thinking about the chaos that would follow gave even Hachiman a headache.
After all, women's hearts are the hardest to predict—especially when it involves not one, but maybe three… no, possibly four of them. Hachiman had already spotted Honebami Miroslava at the bar.
Hating complications as he did, he decided to get clarity from Yumeko later.
But there was one thing he could now confirm: Yumeko really might have those kinds of twisted fetishes.
"Hello, customers. Are the three of you together?"
"Uh... yes, we are."
Weird roleplay… Hachiman sighed internally. He hadn't expected to walk into a trap so unguarded—though, admittedly, he was the one enjoying it.
Yukino instinctively glanced at Yumeko.
Perhaps it was her woman's intuition, but she immediately sensed something odd about her.
After staring at her for a while, Yukino noted that, aside from her aura—more that of a noble young lady than a maid—there didn't seem to be anything off.
A noble lady doing a weekend part-time job? Yukino silently chided herself for being too suspicious.
Still, if she'd observed just a little more closely, she would've noticed that for a weekend, the maid café was suspiciously empty.
It was as if an invisible net surrounded the café, filtering out anyone who tried to enter.
"What would you like to drink?"
"One Toffee Hazelnut Milk Latte and one Mascarpone Cheesecake Latte," Hachiman answered, glancing at the menu. These were the drinks Yukino always ordered back when they had club outings in middle school.
Yukino blushed. She hadn't expected Hachiman to still remember her favorite drinks after all this time.
Her heart was filled with a mix of bittersweet emotions and gratitude.
"Understood." Yumeko winked at Hachiman flirtatiously before gracefully turning and walking toward the bar.
No, something's off.
Hachiman instantly read the meaning behind her glance and broke into a cold sweat. As someone who had shared a bed with Yumeko, he knew her too well.
That look meant she was about to do something weird.
Feeling uneasy, Hachiman stood up. "I'm going to the restroom. You two wait here."
"Okay."
Hachiman walked over. "Excuse me, where's the restroom?"
"I'll show you~" Honebami's lips curled into a beautiful arc.
These two are definitely working together, Hachiman was now convinced.
This whole setup was a trap they'd planned for him—it just wasn't clear what kind of trap.
Hands in his pockets, he silently followed Honebami Miroslava into a secluded corner of the café, the secondary bar area.
He got straight to the point: "Miss Honebami, what are you and Yumeko trying to do?"
Honebami tilted her head, smiling brightly. "I want to fight you again."
At the end of the Great Bloom Festival, she'd witnessed Hachiman's approach to problem-solving firsthand. It was... truly ruthless.
Using the microphone to amplify the screams of agony, letting those hellish cries echo throughout the arena—
So wonderful~
Just recalling those sounds made Miroslava shudder in delight. That was the ecstasy she pursued!
She wanted to hear that same beautiful voice from Hachiman.
She wouldn't use any crude methods that left permanent damage.
No—she would go slowly, progressively, letting Hachiman feel pain... until he grew addicted to the sensation of suffering under her hands.
Of course, if Hachiman could beat her, she wouldn't mind reversing the roles.
The pain she sought was beyond anything others could offer.
This woman's crazy, Hachiman thought. He regretted not bringing Miss Yor with him—he could really use a bodyguard right now.
This isn't the time... Hachiman exhaled and said, "If you want a match, Miss Honebami, let's find another time."
"No." Miroslava's cheeks flushed as she exhaled a mist of pink and shook her head.
She slipped off the jacket draped over her shoulders and laid it on a nearby chair.
Hachiman's eyebrow twitched. Freed from the jacket, her figure was almost dangerously voluptuous—easily the most extreme he'd seen.
Miroslava panted slightly, her chest heaving dramatically.
"I want to trample you underfoot right now—to stomp your face until you wail beneath me~" she said, removing her black gloves as well. "Of course, if you win, I wouldn't mind you doing the same to me."
Sometimes, Hachiman seriously questioned what was wrong with this world.
Honebami was shockingly straightforward, openly expressing her twisted, perverse thoughts—but did she really feel no shame saying such things out loud?
Black lines appeared on Hachiman's forehead. He took a deep breath and said, "Please stop saying such weird things."
"No, I'm serious." Honebami's face was full of sincerity. "I really want to do that to you, Hikigaya Hachiman."
"Didn't you perform splendidly at the Great Bloom Festival?" Miroslava said with a cheerful smile. "And the head of the Momobami family is very interested in you, isn't she? If I trample the man she's curious about under my feet..."
"Just imagining it is so delightful~"
"So let's do it now, Hachiman Hikigaya~"
Another pervert...
Hachiman felt helpless. Ever since enrolling at Hyakkaou Academy, he'd been swarmed by all sorts of theseperverts.
And judging by Miroslava's behavior, she wouldn't back off unless they fought.
"Don't worry. This café is soundproofed really well. As long as they're out front, they won't hear anything back here."
Miroslava's words erased Hachiman's final doubts.
He unbuttoned his outer shirt to avoid any visible stains afterward.
"Alright then—let's do this."
