Herrscher of Dominance in Honkai, starting with the abduction of Kiana

It was dusk, and combined with the snowy weather, the light in the room was very dim.

The air conditioner wasn't running, and gusts of cold wind blew into the room through the slightly ajar window, making the entire place feel especially chilly.

"It's so cold, and she's sleeping without closing the window, what a worrywart." Originally, Ren was just going to take one last look before returning to the Theater of Domination, but now, his blood pressure was spiking.

After thinking about it, he decided to float in through the window, shifting back to his human form and closing the window. Kiana seemed to be fast asleep, completely unaware of Ren's arrival.

Stealing a glance at the girl on the sofa, Ren sighed, "She's supposed to be a great hero who saved the world, yet she's still sleeping on the sofa like a child. Himeko, I sent her back to look after her, and now, who knows where she's run off to."

Muttering under his breath, Ren finally realized that these things had nothing to do with him anymore. She and he were just strangers.

He fell silent, and the room became quiet, with only the girl's soft breathing echoing.

"Alright, I should leave." He sighed, preparing to turn into a snowflake again and float away. Before leaving, he subconsciously looked at the girl on the sofa.

Kiana still wasn't a very peaceful sleeper. The small blanket that covered her had slipped to the floor as she rolled over, leaving her in a thin nightgown, looking quite uncomfortable.

"Cough, cough." With a slight cough, Kiana curled up even tighter, but she still didn't wake up.

Seeing this, Ren frowned. Even for an afternoon nap, no one sleeps this deeply.

He walked to the sofa and realized that Kiana's brow was tightly furrowed, her face was flushed an unnatural red, her body was trembling, and she coughed occasionally.

"This idiot, she must have caught a cold from leaving the window open." Ren facepalmed, feeling helpless. He placed his hand on the girl's forehead, discovering that her temperature was indeed quite high. He also squeezed Kiana's hand, which was ice cold.

Picking up the blanket from the floor, he draped it over the girl. Then he looked for the AC remote, but it didn't work no matter how many times he pressed the button.

Helpless, he could only return to Kiana's side, rubbing his hands together, and using his Honkai energy to raise his body temperature.

He took Kiana's hand in his, using the warmth of his palm to help ease her coldness, just like she once did for him in Nagazora City.

He quietly squatted next to the girl, watching her breathing finally become more regular, and a smile appeared on his face.

Because they were so close, Ren's head was just a few inches from Kiana's face. In this excessively quiet environment, he suddenly realized he had never observed her so closely.

The girl's eyelashes were delicate, trembling slightly with her breath. Her delicate nose was wrinkled with the cold. Her full and rounded lips, still glowing faintly even in the dim light, were slightly parted, letting out small breaths.

Looking at the girl's exquisite and flawless face, Ren had to admit that his heart was beating faster.

The only thing that displeased him was the tear streaks on the girl's face.

She seemed to have been crying.

He was displeased, who was the jerk that dared to upset the Queen of the Void? She was the savior he had personally cultivated, no one should make her sad.

It must be Himeko being irresponsible. Was this how she was completing the final task he gave her?

And so, the two of them were together in this strange way.

In the empty room, silence reigned.

Under Ren's warmth, the girl's hands and feet were no longer so cold. Looking at the light outside the window, it seemed like an hour had passed.

Since Kiana's condition had improved, Ren no longer needed to stay. He stood up, rubbing his slightly numb legs and feet, and prepared to release the hand he was holding with the girl.

But when he tried to pull his hand away, he found that he couldn't.

"Is she a restless sleeper?" Ren wondered. Kiana hadn't woken up, so it must be her grasping at something instinctively.

She spoke furiously, her voice filled with countless grievances. Her whole body pressed against Ren, as if she was afraid he would run away again.

"No..."

"I don't want to hear your explanation. You're trying to leave secretly again, aren't you? I won't let you go." Her cheeks were already flushed from the cold, but now the redness was even more intense. Was it anger, or something else?

"Calm down."

"Shut up! I endured a whole day in the cold just to wait for you. Why are you only here now, you jerk?"

With a flash of light, several Void Lances were created by Kiana, directly pinning Ren's hands to the floor. Her free hands pressed on Ren's shoulders, and she sat up, pressing down on his stomach.

Unable to move, Ren tried to struggle, but then Kiana activated her Herrscher eyes, instantly absorbing the Honkai energy he had gathered. At this point, Ren finally understood. This was clearly a trap set for him.

The most skilled hunters often appear in the guise of their prey.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Seeing the girl, whose face was completely flushed, gradually lower her body, Ren panicked. Especially since she was only wearing a thin nightgown, the soft sensation was making him, who had never experienced anything like this, feel lost.

But just as Kiana was about to succeed, there was a knock on the door.
