POV...UENO KICHIRO...
Climbing out of bed and going about my morning routine, I was soon activating angel form and trying out some not so simple things I had in mind considering yesterday's developments. Trying to see if I could get a signature skill of any system now that I can, observe... it wasn't going well, didn't matter what angle I tried examining objects from but it wouldn't give me the skill. Picking up the can of soda from where I had put it on the counter I decided to try this again with maybe a different possible skill later, deciding to skip making new skills when I should be focusing on getting better with my current ones first. Taking full advantage of basic exercises I started doing push ups, I needed to use today to figure out how much effort is needed to actually gain stats.
It wasn't till the 10th push up that I saw the notification in my system for an increase to strength, deciding that I would see just how many points I can crank out with just push ups for now the next few hours was full of just me doing push ups and resting when needed and it did get frustrating as the higher my strength got the more push ups it required. At the 6 hour mark I decided to just stop doing push ups as my strength wasn't going up from it anymore, or it just started taking an absurd amount of push ups now. Checking the system notifications to see exactly how much of an increase I got my eyes went wider than ever before because of the increase.
[Due to extended periods of repetitive exercise Strength has increased!]
[Strength: 6-->18]
These 6 hours of exercise just completely changed my stat spread, my strength has actually managed to dethrone my intelligence by a singular point and is now my best stat. Deciding on upping my agility next, I got ready to head out into the streets of Japan once again, this time I was simply gonna try and raise my agility by running. Deciding I would run till it got dark out I got moving, running with no particular destination in mind besides remembering the way back home. My pathetic agility stat of 4 really shined as being sub par, I didn't notice it that much when I was walking two days ago but now that I was trying to run I could really feel how slow I was. I'm pretty sure I was a faster runner in my past life but I guess the whole point of me training is to surpass myself anyway, ignoring my lack of speed I kept running.
One thing is for sure, the city really does feel unique... Though it is mostly because of the population of people with mutant quirks which is still taking some time to get used to, Eventually I've managed to pass by the library and by then my agility had raised to 9 which was annoying since walking that same distance didn't boost my agility at all. Ignoring the pang of frustration that came with the realization I kept moving, getting further into the city than I went before. Despite UA being somewhere here in Musutafu some of the alleyways started to feel sketchy, I couldn't place my mind on it because I wasn't exactly sure on how to tell the difference between a sketchy alleyway and a normal alleyway but I kept moving further. True to my word, despite the burning and numb feeling in my legs... I ran till it got dark, my agility reaching a solid 16 which is a good 12 points higher than when I started yet I surprisingly didn't get the sprint skill from most gamer novels I had read in the past.
Stopping to catch my breath I looked at my stamina numbers and noticed they hadn't gone down despite all this exercise which confused me, though if MP fueled abilities like [Angel Form] and [Bark] maybe stamina fueled skills? or maybe some of the more physical abilities that I could get? it was too soon to tell so I decided to put a pin in those thoughts for when I had more information to work with, turning around to start making my way home in the dark. The only light available coming from street lights and such.
Making my way home I managed to get about a third of the way there when a guy in a dark red hoodie that I was running past had stuck their leg out, sending me tumbling and practically face planting, Rolling a bit to try and face towards him as I started trying to get up I noticed his face very clearly in the hood of his sweater... Like seriously? Did they run out of actual masks, "Seriously man? What the hell was that for?" I tried to say while sounding calmly... I probably failed at sounding calm because he pulled out a pebble from his pocket and it suddenly sparked before it became a wooden baseball bat.
"Nothing personal kid, I've had a very bad day and you just happen to have a very punchable face." was what I heard before he swung the bat aiming for my head- holy crap he swings fast, and hard too if the cracks in the pavement were anything to go by. Just my luck to run into someone like this when there's no wood around but I need to avoid a physical confrontation. Dodging another swing I ended up leaning too far back and fell went off balance, something this guy seemed rather happy to capitalize on with his bat raised over his head with every intention of putting me down for making such a fatal mistake... Sike he fell for it, my banshee being summoned immediately didn't need speed. His guard was wide open and his poor gut got slugged hard enough to send him rolling backwards as I got back on my feet, watching as he got up while I caught my breath and had my banshee stand in front of me protectively. Normally I'd use some kind of ability but as I have learned, using quirks without a license is illegal, I can at least try to explain that this ghost is not a quirk or at least not my quirk.
Sparks flew around the bat and the man's hand, his bat turning into a knife before he charged at me. Thankfully I didn't have to intervene because my banshee should be strong enough to handle him... I think... Well then, he ducked under the banshee's haymaker and came at me. Deciding to put [Brawling] to use I swayed to the left of his knife swing and tried to punch him in the jaw, only for him to lean back away from my fist and attempt to stab my side though he rolled away as my banshee's fist came crashing down from above him. Charging in I avoided his knife that had been plunged forward in an attempt to stab me and kicked my leg out aiming to hit him in the gut where my banshee had punched him earlier, earning a successful grunt of pain from him. My banshee coming from the side and shoulder checking him into a nearby brick wall before he could recover and stab at me again.
Watching what came next made me feel just a little bit bad for him, my banshee caught him in a vicious combo against the wall. Punching him in the gut and making him double over on her fist, followed by an uppercut that had him standing up strait looking at the sky, and she knocked him out with a right cross that laid him out on the ground unconscious. But I did have to quickly stop her before she could continue because I saw her raise her leg preparing to stomp him and I did not want a body count this soon into being sent into this world. Checking the system notifications that appeared when he went unconscious I couldn't help but smile and start considering hunting thugs despite having had to rely on my banshee in this fight.
[Inaba Yugo LV12, Defeated!]
[120 EXP gained!]
[User's Level has increased by 3!]
[Item drop chance met! Generating Random Item...]
[Bag Of Holding Acquired!]
[First combat victory! Gold Ability Ticket awarded!]
[Fight Won! Silver Random Category Ticket awarded!]
[Brawling LV1-->LV3]
increases melee damage by 9% and decreases melee damage taken by 4%
I stood there flabbergasted at the system panels in front of me but I decided to look through the actual rewards later, not really knowing what to do with the unconscious thug I decided to just make my run home and leave him there since nobody was around to witness the fight and I didn't want to get caught near an unconscious man. Dismissing my banshee and running thankfully faster than before thanks to my agility being 16 instead of 4 now. Eventually I was passing the library and soon I was back home with my agility increasing to 17 by the time I got to the front door. Heading inside I immediately looked through my rewards or more namely my focus was on my new stat points.

>-------------------------<
I got 15 points to work with and I was torn between saving them or dumping them in luck... I'll dump them into luck, since it's the only stat I don't know how to train at the moment and my gacha might give me better results with better luck.
[Luck 10-->25]
not feeling anything different per say besides more confidence in my gacha, I pulled out the silver random ticket and tore it in half, trying to get the harder to predict one out of the way.
[Rolling Random Category!... Skills! Rolling random skill!]
[... .. .!]
[Riding skill acquired!]
[Riding: The skill to ride, and control any mode of transportation to a greater degree. Even if unknown to the user, basic functions of different controls will be hinted at in the user's mind.]
Pulling out the ability ticket and hoping for something good, I closed my eyes and tore the ticket. waiting for the sound of the system finishing the roll.
[Rolling Gold Ability Ticket!]
[... .. .!]
[Legendary Ability Acquired!]
[SPECIALIST]
[SPECIALIST: The user can switch between specialized modes. each mode has telltale signs during the switch and while in the mode. all abilities outside of neutral state cost stamina or MP. Modes become unlocked as the ability levels up]
[Neutral mode: Passive when the ability is off, the user gains danger sense and enhanced stamina/energy regen but otherwise no other bonuses.]
[Offense mode: The user is stronger and faster by incredible margins. Sacrificing defensive and recovery capabilities. when the user strikes someone/something a 2nd impact is stored and can be triggered by the user.]
[Defense mode: The user becomes more durable by an incredible margin with regenerative capabilities. Sacrificing strength and speed.]
[Mobility mode: Usable at LV???]
[Stealth mode: Usable at LV???]
[Mind mode: Usable at LV???]
[Support mode: Usable at LV???]
...I am at a loss for words, what kind of jack of all trades ability did I just get? I do know that swapping angel form for it to take advantage of that neutral mode energy regen would make training smoother but for now I guess I'll just hold onto it for when a situation calls for it or if I get more ability slots... oh who am I kidding- I want to test it outright now, swapping [Angel Form] for [SPECIALIST] I felt my stamina that was depleted from the fight started recovering in real time, my MP recovering faster as well and it took a lot less time than before, and once both were full I activated the offense form, my body glowing a red hue as there seemed to be almost red silhouettes of me following my movements as I tried moving around... This ability already tickled that spot in my brain for cool factor just for that detail alone, so deciding to keep it on and see how long it lasts I ran out of MP in about 20 minutes and the mode shut off on it's own, but thankfully it did level up once in that time. Deciding to just go to sleep and continue my training tomorrow I quickly passed out in my bed.

YIPPEE! I finished the chapter about time, I am sorry about there being so much delay. stuff came up and I ended up unable to sit down and dedicate time to write but I did make sure to take the time to write something of good quality.
Anyway! Kichiro got into his first fight, his brute of a Banshee carried the fight for real real. And he managed to increase some of his physical stats! yaaaay!
I put the stats panel towards the end just so that his current status is more clear for now.
