Heavens will Universal Law System: Dual Cultivation

Chapter 34: Luo Bai and Alina

After some time, Adrien looked at Han Fi and softly said, "Han Fi, you should go and cultivate for a while now."

But Han Fi didn't respond.

Adrien gently brushed the hair from her face and saw that she was in deep sleep. Seeing her peaceful and innocent face, a faint smile appeared on Adrien's lips. He carefully lifted her in his arms and slowly walked toward the palace.

Upon reaching the palace, Adrien opened the door of the Dual Cultivation Room and gently laid Han Fi on the bed. Then he sat beside her and opened the system panel to check his latest notifications.

Adrien frowned and said, "System, why is there no reward for this mission?"

The system replied calmly, "Your and Han Fi's fates are already bound. There is no need for external rewards."

Adrien sighed deeply and said, "Then what's the point of even giving this mission? When Han Fi is ready for dual cultivation, we'll see. I don't want her to be pushed into it so soon."

The system replied in a warning tone, "This is just a signal for both of you… to show how long you can avoid dual cultivation."

Adrien read through the mission requirements again and realized it was not a compulsion but more like a limit. He said calmly, "I'm still in no rush. You don't need to worry about that."

The system said nothing in return.

Adrien tucked Han Fi properly under the blanket, gently placed his hand over her head once, then left for the stadium to spend time in his training.

A while later, Han Fi opened her eyes. She looked around but didn't find Adrien near the bed. She stood up quickly and walked out of the palace.

Just then, a voice echoed, "Han Fi, are you going to Adrien?"

Han Fi stopped and answered, "Yes, Guardian, I'm going to Adrien."

The Guardian took a deep breath and said, "You should be focusing on your cultivation right now. Adrien is also training. If you keep following him like this without working on yourself, one day you'll fall far behind him. Then you'll regret your choices. It's up to you now — do you want to become a burden on him in the future… or stand shoulder to shoulder with him when he's in trouble?"

Han Fi stayed silent for a moment, then softly said, "You are absolutely right, Guardian. Now that Adrien has understood my feelings and accepted me, it's my responsibility to try and match him. I don't want to become a burden on him."

The Guardian said in a satisfied tone, "You must not only cultivate but also train yourself in every way. Whenever you have time, come to the Self-Dimensional Space and focus on both cultivation and combat training. If needed, you may take my help too."

Han Fi accepted the Guardian's words from her heart and nodded quietly. A new determination had awakened within her. Slowly, she walked to the meditation pool and sat down. The surface of the water shimmered gently under the moonlight, and the surroundings were calm — only the soft rustling of leaves or water ripples broke the silence.

Meanwhile, Adrien was also immersed in his cultivation and training in the stadium. With each movement and breath, he was growing stronger. Time passed — day, night, and the next morning. They spent a little time together but devoted most of it to their personal growth.

As dawn approached and golden light spread across the sky, Adrien said, "Han Fi, it's almost morning. You should return to the palace… I must go as well."

Han Fi smiled gently and nodded. Then, without hesitation, she hugged Adrien and placed a small but emotional kiss on his lips — as if she wanted to capture that moment forever in her heart. Together, they exited the Self-Dimensional Space.

When Adrien returned, morning had fully arrived. He opened the door and stepped out. As he descended to the first floor of the inn, he saw Ji Fen and Ming Hao already waiting for him.

Ji Fen said, "Adrien, Master has summoned us to the Chamber of Lunar."

Adrien replied seriously, "Alright, let's go. We shouldn't delay."

Meanwhile, in a private chamber of the Chamber of Lunar, two breathtaking women were seated. Their beauty was such that even their names could cause waves across kingdoms.

Selena, the elder sister, sat with a calm and serious aura. Her blue hair flowed down her back like a waterfall, and her eyes held the depth of years of experience. Her figure was flawless: full chest, slim waist, and an alluring silhouette that no eye could ignore.

Sitting beside her was Alina, caught in anxiety and anticipation. She asked, "Sister, what do you think? How will Adrien react when he sees me?"

Selena took a deep breath and replied, "Alina, you're overthinking. Adrien has lost his memory. Even I can't say how he will respond."

Alina, worried, said, "But… from what Little Fan told me, his bond with Han Fi seems… a bit too close."

Selena calmly replied, "I've had it investigated. Han Fi is not a bad girl. And yes, their relationship may seem close, but it's not love. Adrien saved her life — maybe that's why she's attached to him."

Alina fell silent, but in her mind, she thought — "If Adrien hadn't lost his memory, I would've crushed that Han Fi by now…"

Meanwhile, Adrien, Ming Hao, and Ji Fen reached the gates of the Chamber of Lunar. In front of the grand gates stood six guards — all Soul Fusion Realm cultivators. As the trio entered, Ji Fen received a spiritual message — Selena had given them the path to the private chamber.

They reached there. The door opened.

As Adrien stepped inside, his gaze fell upon Selena and Alina. But the moment he saw Alina, his breath caught. His heartbeat raced so intensely that everyone in the room could feel it.

His eyes welled up with tears. He spoke softly, "Alina…"

Ming Hao took a deep breath and silently walked out. Ji Fen followed her. Only three people remained in the room now.

Alina also whispered, "Adrien…"

With that one word, Adrien felt as though a storm had overtaken him. Visions began flashing in his mind — hazy but filled with memories. A girl laughing with him, fighting, holding his hand — and in all those images, the face was Alina's.

Suddenly, a piercing pain shot through his head. He screamed in agony — a sharp, heart-wrenching cry.

Alina panicked and rushed to him, cradling him in her arms. Tears streamed from her eyes. Selena immediately activated her spiritual sight to assess Adrien's mental state.

A storm raged in Adrien's consciousness. Memories were returning — broken, incomplete… but turning real. His body trembled with pain and suddenly, he lost consciousness.

"Sister, look! What's happening to Adrien?" Alina cried in panic.

Selena said gravely, "Calm down, Alina. His mind is under immense pressure. Seeing you must have triggered some old memories. He passed out from the pain."

With trembling hands, Alina took out a pain-relief pill and placed it in Adrien's mouth. She then lifted him and sat in a corner, resting his head in her lap like a broken mother holding her injured child.

Her tears hadn't stopped. All she wanted was — "Let Adrien remember everything… and return to me again…"

Outside, Ming Hao and Ji Fen stood near the door, having heard Adrien's scream — deep concern in their eyes.
