"Why are you giving away all your valuables if I may ask,and why can you just confidently give your child away",

Tian yi still couldn't understand why the quadruple fanged python would want to fully give away its belongings,just for the prospects of its child achieving dragonhood.

The dragon sounded like it was almost happy that it found someone to take care of its child,someone with dragon blood no less.

"I was injured about two hundred and thirty years ago by a human cultivator,he coveted my yang infused scales,and also my egg",the quadruple fanged python said bitterly.

"Naturally I refused and fought him for two days and nights,we fought right outside the expanse of barren land beyond this energy vein forest".

"He injured me gravely,but I also managed to inflict him with my venom,though he didn't die,he was able to suppress it,

If he's still alive,he would have periodic bouts of venom flair,suffering immensely"…

"What the fuck!!!"

Tian yi shuddered,knowing how painful the quadruple fanged python's venom was,he couldn't even stomach the thought of having to suffer that pain periodically for two hundred and thirty years.

"I on the other hand,was imbued with his own yin ghosts fire,draining me of my yang energy everyday for the past two hundred and thirty years,this caused my lifespan to drain considerably,I was barely able to escape back into the energy forest,

I barely have five years left to live",

Turning to face her egg in the tree,her gazed softened,she gently rubbed her head against the egg affectionately.

"My child was hurt in the ensuing battle,making it unable to hatch since,it needed a vast amount of resources to heal,so I've took up defending this tree and carved out a spot for my child to receive the qi tree's energy optimally,helping it heal,but I greatly underestimated the injuries it suffered,for over two hundred years,it still hadn't recovered and hatched"

The quadruple fanged python's voice dripped with emotion genuinely,Tian long could infer that she was in a desperate situation emotionally,not knowing how she would leave her egg alone to survive once she died,it was a thorn in her heart,that was why immediately she realized that Tian yi had dragon blood in him—she immediately surrendered,she had finally found someone worthy of trust that her child could be safe with,and he could one day become a dragon himself.

All these made it unreluctant in giving Tian yi all its valuables and treasures including the qi tree itself.

Tian yi bowed,"I admire you senior fanged python,I promise to keep your child safe and if the opportunity comes,I would do everything in my power to help him ascend to become a dragon,we shall become life and death brothers,I swear in the name of heaven and on my soul to never ever break my promise",he swore solemnly his heart resonating with the heavens above.

As he spoke,astral dragon silhouettes materialized around him and then soared into the sky forming one giant dragon that roared at the heavens,the sky turned dark and thunderous,then the dragon turned into streams of light that separated towards tian yi and the egg in the tree.

" Sacred energy!!!???…",the quadruple fanged python whispered,shocked and uncertain.

Even tian yi himself seemed to not know what had just happened,but his dad had an inkling. this would turn out to be a powerful turning point in the life of both the fanged python egg,the qi fruit tree and tian yi himself.

The quadruple python taught Tian yi on how to connect with his energy domain in his mind spirit…

Then he proceeded to tell him to communicate with the tree and egg,helping him move everything into his energy domain.

Tian yi successfully pulled it off,the qi fruit tree along with the egg were now inside his energy domain,sitting comfortably in the middle.

The quadruple fanged python then condensed a ball of red light into Tian yi,which appeared directly above his energy domain.

"I have condensed my life's insight into that mote of light,when you reach a certain stage after you start cultivating proper,you would be able to assimilate it alongside the qi energy fruits,allowing you to rapidly advance, do not try to assimilate it when you're not strong enough,you will most likely disintegrate if you do that",the quadruple fanged python warned.

"Don't worry senior fanged python,I won't use the gift you have given me unwisely,I will wait till I am strong to refine it for my use".

Tian yi could see the quadruple fanged python weaken visibly and reduce in size drastically as it condensed that mote of light,even the red pulsating jade that covered the cavern dimmed,turning into a dull black color,it had used up its remaining lifespan and condense that energy to benefit him,he was deeply moved.

Yang ye witnessed all these from side,he couldn't help but feel sad for the quadruple fanged python.

He was a fellow parent and could understand why the python would do anything to save it's offspring,but what was sad was that it had to give up its remaining life just to see that it had a promising future.

But sadly it won't be able to see the future it was trying so hard to secure for it,that was the greatest regret any parent could have,what a tragedy!!!.

Yang ye could not imagine having to not see Tian yi forever,scaling the world by himself,without his parents by his side.

He came forward and bowed deeply before the dying python,which lay limply on the ground,

"I'm honored to have met a selfless mother like you,I hope in the yellow springs,you get a chance to reincarnate and live a peaceful life in your next life—without problems"

The python smiled weakly

"Even in my next life,I would still wish to lay down my life for my offspring….

I hope you can grow strong enough and protect both of them,until they mature" ,

The quadruple fanged python said referring to tian yi and its son.

"Rest assured I would also lay down my life for the children if I have to— no hesitation",yang ye spoke with much resolve

Tian yi was moved,he hoped a day where his dad had to give up life for him would never come.

"Thank you ",smiled the quadruple fanged python,

"I can go in peace now"…

Before thier very eyes the giant python gently disintegrated into motes of red light,which drifted within the cavern,lighting it up one last time before finally fading—darkness…
