Heavenly Restriction User of the Gojo Clan: I Refuse to Be Cut in Half

Chapter 287: Chapter 287: Nine Phase Diagram

Jogo gritted his teeth and dropped to one knee. With great effort, he raised his hand and formed a hand seal!

Suddenly, an overwhelming surge of cursed energy erupted from his body. Without hesitation, he poured all his remaining cursed energy toward Choso like it cost nothing!

In an instant, the entire black market was engulfed in blazing flames, explosions bursting in every direction without a single blind spot!

It didn't matter how fast he was—if there was nowhere to run, he couldn't escape. At this critical moment between life and death, Jogo didn't care whether he'd be blacklisted by the black market.

He just wanted to blow the whole place sky-high—along with that bastard!

The flames only lasted a second, but the temperature in the underground space shot up by more than 20 degrees!

On top of the tower, the black market administrators' faces went pale!

The Ghost Judge frowned and quickly cast a spell.

In an instant, his figure vanished!

...

Choso's expression stiffened slightly as he watched the wall of flames and pressure surge toward him!

There was nowhere to hide!

He could only summon the Blood Blade again and brace for impact!

But the firestorm struck in waves, sending him flying almost instantly!

Torrents of flames followed behind, rolling outward!

Choso was dazed for a moment, but he quickly activated Wing King to retreat and disperse the force!

Even so, the damage was significant. He was slammed into the ground...

His clothes were torn open in several places, and his massive frame was charred in multiple spots!

From the ground, Choso shook his dizzy head, then slowly sat up and smirked. "That was close. I almost underestimated you, Jogo."

Jogo clenched his teeth, glaring fiercely at Choso. But the cursed energy within him had completely dried up—he couldn't fight anymore...

His thin frame trembled slightly, barely managing to stay standing.

Covered in dust and ash, Choso slowly rose to his feet.

He smirked faintly and said, "As expected of the famed Fire Curse Spirit. Your vitality is ridiculous."

He walked toward Jogo slowly, blood beginning to gather at his fingertips.

"But it's the same outcome now, Jogo. I'll take your life here."

Choso flicked his wrist, speaking each word clearly, "Blood Manipulation: Convergence —Blood Piercing!"

His fingertip aimed straight at Jogo's head. Since he was a curse spirit, not human, there was no hesitation.

Toxic blood condensed into sharp feather-like arrows, packed with immense force. Jogo, completely drained of cursed energy, looked like a helpless hatchling in front of him, seconds away from being pierced through the skull!

But just as Choso was about to strike, someone suddenly stepped out from behind Jogo.

"Sorry, Choso, your time's up." The man stood with arms crossed, his face cold and expressionless.

Choso's expression darkened.

Damn it, I was just a second too slow.

He was about to forcefully finish off Jogo when an overwhelming wave of cursed energy surged toward him!

In an instant, he felt like a tiny wooden boat being tossed in a violent storm!

What shocked Choso most was that this cursed energy didn't belong to an ordinary sorcerer—it was darker, more twisted, filled with intense negativity!

Even more terrifying, it felt... familiar, like he had sensed it somewhere before...

His eyes locked onto the ghostly figure. A chill ran down Choso's spine as he instantly halted his technique.

"You got lucky this time. Tell Gojo Satoshi we'll meet again..." Choso glanced at Jogo once more, then disappeared.

Jogo let out a long breath as the enemy vanished. "Thanks for the save, Ghost Judge..."

The tall figure of the Ghost Judge turned around slowly, looked at Jogo, then pointed to the nearby building that had been blown down to its supporting structure. "Save your thanks. Pay me back for this."

Jogo: "..."

Jogo's injuries weren't fatal, so the Ghost Judge simply wrapped him up and contacted Zenin Toji.

...

Yorozuya Headquarters

"Jogo, are you alright?" Satoshi looked at the bandage-wrapped Jogo, his expression turning cold.

Even Yuto furrowed his brow, his expression growing tense.

"I'm fine... That guy just fought dirty..." Jogo said, clearly embarrassed.

"Who could have injured you that badly?" Toji frowned as he studied Jogo.

Jogo wasn't weak, but someone had seriously injured him?

When Toji first picked him up, he'd been stunned by the gaping wound in Jogo's chest!

If that slash had landed on his neck or head, Jogo might've already been exorcised...

Whether that would be good or bad for humanity was unclear—but it would've definitely been a tragedy for them.

Seeing the concern in everyone's eyes, Jogo felt a warmth in his heart.

With a long sigh, he recounted everything that had happened in the black market.

From receiving the tip and heading there, to the final rescue by the Ghost Judge...

"So, Itadori Kaori and her group of curse users discovered our investigation?" Toji frowned.

"Someone's actually mastered the complete Blood Manipulation Technique of the Kamo clan. This just got a lot more complicated..."

"Blood Manipulation?" Satoshi muttered to himself, deep in thought. His expression suddenly sharpened as he deduced Choso's identity.

"Toji, is the Nine Phase Diagram still at the high school?"

Toji was taken aback and shook his head.

He immediately explained to Satoshi what had happened after he'd fallen asleep.

The Nine Phase Diagram had already been stolen by Itadori Kaori.

Satoshi's eyes narrowed.

So that's what happened while I was unconscious...

"It's Kaori..."

Satoshi thought for a moment, then immediately grasped her plan.

"Their current goal is to assimilate Tengen." Satoshi said, "Choso's infiltration into Tokyo was most likely aimed at the Time Vessel Association and the Star Plasma Vessel..."

"What does that have to do with us? If he targets the Yorozuya, won't that just make things harder for him?" Jogo asked, confused.

"He's worried that because I have a good relationship with Tengen, we'll interfere with the Star Plasma Vessel matter. That warning was to keep us in check." Toji answered calmly.

"Exactly." Satoshi nodded in agreement.

"Damn it, Itadori Kaori and her crew are moving fast. We should put this on the agenda soon..." Yuto said, brows furrowed.

"No need to rush. Tengen isn't a fool." Satoshi said. "Even with help from the Time Vessel Association, it'll still take them time."

He added, "But from now on, be on alert. The Yorozuya is too big of a target. There's no telling if they'll come after us again."
