Heavenly Opposers

Chapter 173-Siblings.

Azrail chatted with Valencia about the future, he had some plans in mind and spoke about them to Valencia. She started to think about it and replied back. It wasn't just Valencia, Adria too chimed in at times. Azrail already has a plan in mind, one that will grant them a great amount of power within All-Realm and the true realm world.

"Valencia, I have already sent you the money. Use your family's connection to get all the materials here," Azrail said, looking at Valencia who checked her account. The money was already credited to her, but she didn't reject it, already considering that whatever was hers was his.

"I can get started on this. By what time should things be ready?" She asked.

"It would be good to have them in my hands within 2 weeks," Azrail said, causing Valencia to nod her head. Her eyes turned especially serious, this is their first task, and she is in no way going to fail.

"I will get them all in one week," she said.

"Good," he replied, turning towards Xuanyin, who kept hearing everything with a focused gaze. She didn't understand the majority of it, but with her smart mind, she had already woven several conclusions. While she felt jealous of the closeness between Azrail and Valencia, she was in no way going to interrupt it. She might be willful, but at truly important moments, she won't affect her brother.

"Getting bored are we?" Azrail said as he patted Xuanyin's head. With the connection between them, he can easily feel all the minor thoughts passing through her. For a girl who barely has any reaction, Xuanyin seems to have a great number of emotions and reactions when it comes to him, something which he finds cute in her.

"You are going to set out on it now?" Azrail asked, and Valencia nodded her head.

"With the resources you provided me, I will be able to fast forward some of my plans," she said.

"Best of luck, and if you need anything, ask," Azrail said, placing a small kiss on her cheeks, which she took with a happy smile, her eyes burning even higher to succeed.

"Come," he said to Xuanyin, walking away, knowing that Valencia would be soon dealing with things on her part. The two of them silently walked outside, soon moving through the long-reaching halls. The silence between the two siblings was comforting, as they both knew what the other wanted.

"Let's head towards the fountain," Azrail said as the two moved towards an open area within the huge mansion. Reaching inside, they could see a fountain in the middle of the huge room, water spraying out, while the roof above was open, letting the sunlight in. The whole area has several sitting locations, while plants and certain small butterflies were let loose. Overall, it looked grand.

Guiding his sister, the two of them reached a large swing with enough space to sit two grown men. Without any words, the two of them sat on the swing, leaning back. Their legs were far above the ground, but it wasn't difficult for Azrail to cause small movements that started to move the swing in a slow calming motion.

As they kept swinging around, he slowly took his sister's hand, and just as he did, severe cold Yin ice started to spread from her body. Enough to kill anyone, but for the current Azrail, it was more of a light cold breeze on a summer day. The same Yin energy release kept going on for a minute, and thanks to his current power, Azrail easily withstood a great deal of pain from Xuanyin, making her feel more relaxed and free.

"You can ask all that you want," Xuanyin tilted her head.

"Yes, all my answers will make you angry, and yes, you can use your words," Azrail replied to the seemingly invisible question.

"Brother...leave?" A soft whisper left Xuanyin's mouth, a very light and cold tone, something that might have been missed, but Azrail heard it nonetheless and understood the meaning of the small words better than anyone else in the cosmos.

"Yes, you will start your journey in three years, one I know you will love," Azrail said, his words causing Xuanyin's hand to find its way into his, totally clutching on for dear life and warmth.

"No..." She spoke, to which Azrail shook his head.

"We won't be apart, Xuanyin. With a dweller node, it would be as if we never left each other. Plus, this isn't permanent. Once I have everything set up, you shall be beside me."

His words alone were effective, but what was really taking Xuanyin's defenses down was the deep feelings that Azrail was sending toward her. She could feel the boundless love and care that Azrail has for her, and she could also feel the same level of pain and reluctance at having her away from him, at not seeing her grow completely.

But he is willing to weather through all that pain so that he can see her shine better than others so that he can see her standing above others so that she will be someone that will never bow or be below anyone else. His very desires were tailored down to having her be happy even if it meant that he would suffer some.

This was more than enough to drown all the words of struggle down Xuanyin's mouth. Words may speak a lot, but the raging feelings and emotions now floating through her spoke more than any words could.

The two siblings didn't need any more words between them, and Azrail didn't need to speak anything. Just the deepest feelings and desires of his spilling out to Xuanyin was enough to show her brother's stand and the deep desire burning within him sparked a flame much higher than any in Xuanyin to follow in the footsteps of her brother to make him proud.

"Will you hold everything together with me?" He didn't need her to ask to know the answer. He knew what she would say, and he knew what dark desires were fostering within her heart, but it wasn't time to deal with it. It was far too early.

"Yes." It was simple and precise, perfectly matching Xuanyin's personality, yet that one word had a higher coldness and desire than any words she had said till now.

"Good, then I will, with time, tell you the path you can walk," Azrail said with a smile, leaning against the swing while relaxing his body whole. The swing kept moving lightly, while the wind brushed against him. The cold feeling from his sister made him calmer as the two just enjoyed each other's presence, all the while their hands stayed intertwined.

...

"Where did you get all these treasures?" Lan asked with raised eyebrows as she looked through all the rings that Azrail gave her, feeling a bit overwhelmed seeing all those treasures that would cause a war if released.

"I had Yunbai run an errand. I told you he would be useful," Azrail said as he enjoyed the breaking expression of his mother.

"Get it together, mother. You will be seeing a lot more than this in the future," Azrail said, which quickly got him an ear-twist.

"Are you teaching your mother?" Lan asked with a threatening smile.

"No, ma'am!" Azrail quickly replied with a chuckle. While Lan too smiled.

"What's the plan?" She asked with a thieving smile.

"Take the most important ones for us while we auction off the others," Azrail said, which earned a nod from his mother.

"Just what I was thinking, but you know the problem, right?" She said, to which Azrail smiled.

"Did you forget what I did, mother?" This quickly made Lan understand as her smile widened.

"Your background, with your power and the nature of your background supporting, will provide as a blind supreme protection," Lan spoke, and Azrail nodded his head. Yes, that's another reason for him showing his strength and leaving the Yun family alive, they were his free advertising agency. Their words give him the credibility he wants to create the greatest auction in this continent, one that will lay the framework for the hidden Empire he's planning.

When Azrail makes a move, he's thinking several steps forward.
