?? shouted out around the table, its form unknown and unseen.

"We created him to break past everything, and I spoke that I had seen the trillions of possibilities of full success for us with close to no chance of him getting out of our control."

Fate replied, its form is hidden.

"We should have thought of this when blessing him with that bloodline."

Another ?? replied, its form too non-existently seen.

"We did take all of it into account, but in no watch of ours did it show the boy being taken in by Death. Heck! All that was seen was Death swallowing him or just being apathetic as always! Don't you all know that?! We all know that Death doesn't give any regard about existence, for he ends existence."

Another ?? replied.

"And that begs the question, why did Death take action, the one of complete Empathy, the one supposed to watch the End? Why did Death bless the one we created to battle the End?"

The All-Fate asked, turning the table silent.

"Isn't this good for us?"

Another ?? asked as ?? continued.

"With Death, the boy's chances of winning just rose exponentially."

"But the problem is that the boy will soon be lost from our control."

All-Fate replied to the millions of fate actions that can be taken being seen within its control.

"All those that we have created till now to battle for us, we had 100% control over their thoughts and life, such that after it's over, we shall either end them or make them our lackey of power."

All-Destiny spoke, its coldness filling the room, its voice continuing.

"And this boy is our biggest gamble. We have given him everything, enough to rise to end us, to reach our level, and till now he was our best, and we are about to lose him....."

The truth behind All-Destiny filled the place, while all the ?? looked on with darkened thoughts.

"We all planned to make him our biggest one to hold the balance, but it would seem we would have to take the boy out once he finishes the goal. I can still mildly the fate of the realms to guide it towards making the boy reach the end of our goal."

All-Fate spoke, to which another ?? asked.

"Why not control the fate of the ones around him?"

"Cause Death has already given me a warning, it's all out of our hands, and the boy's true side will awaken. The only good thing is that even with that, the boy will achieve the last goal."

All-Fate spoke, making the place silent till the one heading the meeting, the ?? spoke.

"Then we will give the boy free rein. We have given him too much, even the primordial drop to rise to our position, and the moment he finishes the final act, we get rid of him."

"Then what about Death?"

All-Destiny asked with fear, to which the main leading ?? spoke.

"After everything is over and done, I will deal with Death."

"How do you plan to take the boy out when he reaches his peak?"

All-Fate asked, to which All-Destiny spoke.

"We will activate the final piece we kept in case things went out of hand with the monster. We will activate...her."

Persefone danced with happiness within Xiao's Soulfire Veil as it gazed upon Xiao, a crown made of darkness deeper than light, a crown that reigned over death now floated above Xiao's head, absorbing all light of life.

The beauty of the crown would take anybody's breath away. The crown of death, a masterpiece forged in the heart of eternal darkness, stood as a testament to both beauty and lethal elegance. Each facet of the crown was meticulously crafted to captivate the beholder.

At a glance, the common spikes adorned the crown, ascending towards the heavens like dark tendrils reaching for the infinite. Yet, it was the convergence of two scythes at the crown's apex that truly distinguished it. The scythes, finely detailed and etched with intricate patterns, formed a cross, symbolizing the intersection of life and death. Xiao wasn't complaining. He would any day take power and talent over being talentless. It was just that his drive behind power had simmered down a lot.

Xiao is now beginning to think that he might be getting a bit too powerful. With all the abilities in his arsenal, he's beginning to wonder that nobody will be able to battle him on a one-on-one. The same would go in a battle with an army. The ability that was scaring Xiao the most was...

Description: A Cosmic-defying power that lets one swallow a whole soul, hence taking for one the entire desire, power, and existence of the soul.

While it might look like nothing, the ability was much more than that. It allowed Xiao to become the best at everything! Basically, he can call up the soul from the river of death and eat it, taking in all the experiences and understanding of the soul he consumes. Not only that, he could even take in the souls of the ones whom he kills, not even granting them rest at death.

With this, he wouldn't even need to work like others...

Hearing Yurou's words, Xiao could understand that she was really shaken. Even he too would be worried if he suddenly lost the connection he had with Yurou,

'What did you feel about that lightning earlier?'

Yurou asked, making Xiao confused. It was only after she explained it to him, did he understood what had happened across the cosmos,

'It's a mess. The entire four havens are shaken, and everyone is scrambling to find out what's happening.'

Yurou finally calmed down as she started to talk to Xiao about the things happening on her side,

'Well, don't worry about it and just go on with your things.'

Xiao comforted and supported Yurou, thus they went on to talk with each other for a few minutes, the connection between them making them feel close even though they were apart.
