Heavenly Opposers

The stone of change, among the vast expanding and destroying cosmos, there exist millions upon billions of different treasures, but for the cosmos, there would forever exist only one stone of change, giving a chance to rewrite the wrongs.

The Law of Time is one powerful element that only a select few could wield even among them none could turn back time. Some might be able to gaze into the unknown past, but none will be allowed to tamper with the true flow of time. The three guardians of the unknown will never allow it, yet they still exist in a way to meddle with what should have been and what shouldn't.

Absolute regression is impossible, Valencia knew it, the stone of change was more like a radar wish granter that lets you choose one path of change. It would let its user one chance to send back a single wish to change fate. The one affected by the stone of change would be under the requirement set by the user.

It will slowly mold the one affected by the stone into a direction willed by the one who used the stone of change, more like a sixth sense that will start affecting the person, guiding them, but then again every object has its loophole, and Valencia made use of it, the one loophole that would finally grant her the life she desired.

Only time will tell what those actions will result in...

Valencia sat across Xiao, her food being served before her while her eyes stayed fixed on him. Meanwhile, Xiao, unaware of the changes happening, just focused on the food in front of him. His life had taught him to appreciate the things he had, whether it was small or big.

And just as he was about to dig into his food, the door opened once again and the sound of wheels spinning was heard. Li Lun, with her neutral face, rolled into the room, using her Qi to run her wheelchair. The first thing her eyes turned to was Xiao, seeing his face, a natural smile took her face, which for some reason irked Valencia,

"Good morning."

Valencia spoke to Xiao, to which he replied,

"Good morning, how was your sleep?"

"Good, better than ever, it's easy to sleep knowing that you are close by."

"I see..."

That's all the reply Xiao gave as he focused back on his food. Sometimes it's better to stay silent than just lead on something. Meanwhile, Li Lun just smiled, focusing her 'gaze' back on the third party at the table, her eyes turning neutral. She couldn't see her, but the rumors of how enchanting Valencia was had already spread across the manor,

"Good morning."

Li Lun spoke, her voice lacking any enthusiasm. Valencia, on the other hand, focused on the fate of the girl, something which she knows is a realm-bending fate, but she didn't look in clearly at that time. Her mind was more focused on showing off,

'This!'

Seeing it, her eyes narrowed. Right now, she hasn't gotten complete control over her eyes that let her see through everything. She has barely even scraped the exterior of her gifts, but just the scrap allowed her to 'measure' the fate of people, more like a radar that let her see how much they will grow to, and Li Lun's fate standing was high... very high,

'Her potential power at her peak might be even equal to mine.'

This thought shook her. One must know her talents are enough to reach heights far beyond, beyond anything, and for someone to match it is beyond her understanding,

'Oh? This girl, she's chosen by an inheritance.'

Just then the sound of her master Adria was heard in her head,

'You mean a true constellation chose her?'

Valencia asked this time her vigilance increasing. An inheritance capable of choosing its own inheritor means the one who created it must have been at the peak of the cosmos, and they are called constellations, wisps of consciousness left behind guarding and tempting gods and devils to act.

By now most of the constellations twinkling in the cosmos were already chosen. If the news of Li Lun were to be leaked, then bloodshed would spread across the four realms, all of them scrambling here to get Li Lun. She's a key, a key to enter the treasury of a being that had reached the peak of power, the power of a being that was even capable of ripping the laws and placing their own in, for such a treasure even the ones closest to you will betray you,

'I need to find out which constellation chose her.'

Valencia stewed in her thoughts,

'Indeed, but somehow in the end everything is connected to the boy.'

Adria's curious tone filled Valencia's head, making her eyes trail towards him. His fate is truly the one that's making her anxious but no matter how much she tried she couldn't peer into it. It's as if being hidden under a fog of darkness, the control she currently has is not enough for her to see but one thing is sure, his fate would be dazzling.

After finding out about Xiao having All-Seer he removed the protection All-Seer placed on him just in Valencia's eyes, yet even then Valencia is unable to see through Xiao at all.

"Can you please stop staring at my fiancee?"

Li Lun asked with a cold tone, her aura control let her know that Valencia's focus was on Xiao, making her pissed off,

"Yes, good morning to you too."

Valencia finally came out of her thoughts and replied. She didn't say anything else as she soon just focused on her food. Right now her mind was truly in scrambles, while Li Lun just snorted as she disregarded Valencia while eating her own food. Between all this, Xiao ate like he didn't care well he didn't care, he was too mature to jump in between some kids' fight,

'Well, it's good as long as they aren't trying to hurt each other.'

Xiao planned to enjoy life ahead, even with his shackles being removed, he had just hoped to live on but the sudden awakening of his bloodline changed things, with it he might be able to truly reach the top but even then his core priority hasn't changed,

To Live...

Just live life, in the cosmos, resources while vast isn't easy to get because a population much vaster than it chases after it but with Xiao's knowledge he could gain several powerful items, the only reason he hasn't started is because of his family. Only after making sure they are fine would he truly chase after his plan.

The rule of the world was always the same, strength talks, thus Xiao would create the most powerful force in the cosmos, such that just speaking the name of his faction would bring fear into the hearts of even Gods and Devils and while his 'friends' do all the work he will reap all the rewards enjoying visiting the vast cosmos.

There are several places he wishes to see, he will be the strongest but he won't go mad for strength if he focused on just getting stronger then why live? Many would think that when one reaches the peak he could travel anywhere but then they would lose the happiness of feeling something new, a heart that reaches the top will always be vigilant to stay at the top,

"Hey, Li Lun why don't we go to today's annual auction?"

Xiao's sudden question surprised the girls in the room but Li Lun smiled and answered,

"Sure, I would love to!"

"Oh, Valencia you can join in also."

"Why would I?"

She asked, her voice a bit grumpy but even then it was heavenly. Xiao hearing it just shrugged his shoulders,

"Suit yourself, I was just asking because we are 'allies'."

His words made her think. She usually just wants to focus on getting stronger, and then once again the weird feeling came to Valencia, rushing her in,

"Okay."

And unknowingly Valencia has agreed, her heart feeling happy.
