"If Qi is the bottomless energy that leads to defying fate and fighting against the heavens, then World Spirit Energy is the beautiful calm ocean that looks harmless and fun, but when a storm rages, its anger would be the fiercest of them all."

Xiao read aloud as he started to learn more about World Spirit Energy. Right now, he is in a training chamber within the All-Realm, a chamber belonging to the World Spirit Association. Though it's not free, it costs quite a bit. However, none of the people who traverse the All-Realm are poor, and Xiao is rich. It's nothing much for him.

'The concept here is more unique,' Xiao thought.

World Spirit energy deals with altering the fabrics of reality to create miracles in a different manner. Xiao had already finished reading the book, gaining a basic idea about things. Using his skill, {Record And Analyze}, it's easy to break down stuff and load it into his brain. But like the rest, he still needs to gain his understanding of things.

Calming his mind, Xiao took deep breaths. Sitting cross-legged, he started to feel the energy in the surroundings. Even though this is more of a virtual reality, it still gives the user a 100% real-life feel. Plus, with increased World Spirit energy, it's easy to grasp. All around Xiao, he could feel a calm blue energy relaxing his mind.

Deep within him, his World Spirit core trembled, gushing out World Spirit energy. He could feel his small connection to the World Spirit realm. Currently, it was weak, but from Xiao's understanding, his connection would improve with time. The more he learns and comprehends World Spirit Energy, the stronger his connection will get.

And at his peak, he might be able to get a supreme connection to the World Spirit realm, becoming capable of traveling to it. But that's a long way forward. Right now, Xiao is focused on getting his connection stronger and understanding World Spirit Energy. Thanks to the analysis part of his skill, it was much easier.

During this time, Xiao's mind was more like a computer, trying its best to break down and understand what was going on. Slowly, the invisible blue layers in the surroundings started to become visible, surrounding Xiao in a beautiful blue hue. His mixture of white, black, and purple hair danced around. Slowly, Xiao felt his attention leave the worldly plane.

A few seconds later, Xiao opened his eyes as he seemed to have arrived in a place that was as completely blue as the ocean. Xiao deeply within his soul felt at peace here. He floating in the big blue nothingness. After looking around for a few seconds, his gaze landed on a darker blue light flashing in the middle of this world.

'My World spirit connection,' Xiao realized quickly.

Looking at it, Xiao quickly understood what it was. It is his thin line connecting to the very beginning of the source of his World Spirit power. Right now, it's a very small light, just a shine. But as he keeps progressing, his strength will increase. Just like Qi, once Xiao reaches the peak of his level, he would need to strengthen his bond to break through.

Right now, Xiao is at the World Spirit sensing, which has two levels. Once he reaches its peak, he would need to strengthen his bond to the World Spirit realm to break through to the World Spirit movement. It's a cycle that continues. Soon, Xiao disappeared as he opened his eyes back at the training chamber.

Xiao's mind took a few minutes before it reached its neutral state. Raising his hands, he focused on them as blue light gathered around. Soon, a white orb formed in his hand, lighting the space up. Waving his hand, the orb of light floated from his hand.

'So this is Worldly control,' Xiao thought.

Just like Qi cultivation has cultivation techniques, World Spirit masters have Worldly control, each having its function. Worldly Control reminded Xiao of those so-called spells he had read about in the world of Ingrid. They were some fantasy-like things, and somehow the World Spirit users matched the same theorization as wizards.

'Though wizards do exist here....'

Xiao mused, though there exist several types of energy sources fueling hundreds of different paths of strength within the cosmos, it's just the fact that only some are mainly accessible to several different species and are strong enough to connect with other powers.

Some powers though useable by others aren't strong enough to be content against the other sources like Qi and World Spirit energy, while some other powers though strong can only be used by certain species or need very stringent conditions to activate.

What Xiao used was an orb of light, but it doesn't mean that he has an affinity for light. In the future, he won't be able to form any domain on it. But World Spirit masters are capable of casting different types of Worldly control. While Qi cultivation has both close combat and distance fight, World Spirit users fight only from a distance, using different Worldly controls to take down their enemies.

'They keep crazily trying to find new Worldly control and new techniques, always trying to find new things about World Spirit energy,' Xiao thought. 'Most of them are rich from being able to create formations. Only World Spirit masters are capable of it, making them needed everywhere.'

'With this, my strength has grown a step further,' Xiao nodded in appreciation. Right now, he doesn't have many worldly controls learned. The ones he used were Tier-zero spells. An increase in tier would mean that its power also increases, and so does the requirement for World Spirit energy.

There are several upper tiers above this, and the greater the tier, the more powers it would bring out. Even among the tiers, there are other rankings, but for the current Xiao, they are out of reach. Some things can't just be bought with money, though Xiao knows places where he could get more powerful items.

The only downside is that reaching those places right now for the current him won't be easy. With a wry smile, Xiao waved his hand as more orbs of light appeared. A World Spirit master is required to spend time on worldly control. Lots of time must be spent to understand worldly control and become capable of using it.

'Looks like I need to make some trips,' Xiao thought with a smile. He had spent a considerable amount of time training, and there was some increase in his powers. But then, he thought of something.

'Come to think of it, isn't it time 'that' took place?' A smile crept up on Xiao's face as he thought of it.

Soon, he logged out of All-Realm and he appeared back in his room, lying there on the bed. Just as he was planning forward, a voice was heard in his head.

'Darling, how are you?' Hearing the familiar voice of Yurou, Xiao smiled.

'I'm fine. How's your training going?' he asked.

'Mou~ it's boring! I just want to come and see you!' Yurou replied.

'I know, I want to see you too, but remember what we talked about,' Xiao reminded her.

'Is something wrong?' Yurou sensed his mixed feelings.

'I might have got a big sister,' Xiao told her.
