The water arrow landed on the black shield, which just formed around Birdy. The arrow directly went inside. A mocking arc appeared on the corner of turtle's lips. Still, as he was about to speak, the dark shield disappeared, and Birdy revealed herself without any traces of injury.

The turtle spirit looked at the Birdy in shock, spoke in a stammering voice, "Wh-what was th-that?"

In just a matter of a few seconds, the turtles' body became one with death energy. Without delaying anymore, Birdy absorbed all the death energy inside her body along with the turtle's spirit.

Ayaan, standing not far away, had an expression like a statue, he was frozen by shock at a single place.

He opened his eyes and found and looked around but failed to find Birdy.

"Alas, I am the spirit of the magic library, an essential part, and for completing its update, I need to become one with it. Previously, I didn't know the meaning of one with system means, but now I have a clear understanding of the situation." Birdy replied severely, "After assimilating with the magic library, there won't be me anymore because I will become the system itself."

Ayaan was standing frozen at the same place. A shocked expression was plastered on his face. He always thought Birdy won't go anywhere and always treated her as his kin, but he again left alone in the end.

It's been almost four hours since Ayaan was gone. Rebecca was still sitting by the support of a rock at the side while continuously humming to lessen her boredom.

Rebecca saw his lifeless eyes, and bad omen appeared inside her heart. Without thinking, she walked towards him and stood face to face.

"What happened to you?' she asked with a grim expression.

Without replying, Ayaan again started to walk towards the exit.

"Where are you going?" She asked severely, immediately held his hand tightly.

This time Ayaan looked directly in his eyes and replied without expression in a cold tone, "Why you care?"

Rebecca left stunned by his reply. Yes, why she cared about him? Rebecca asked herself. She already knew the answer but always denied. She looked at the back of the lonely figure, which was about to fade and dashed towards him.

Suddenly, Ayaan felt a tight hug from behind. And when he turned to look, a beautiful countenance of Rebecca appeared in front of him.

But he forgot one thing, Noor also wasn't any ordinary girl but still fell for him.
