There’s no way he’s that insane. Declaring a guild war over a newbie he’s only known for a week? And against one of the few guilds they're on good terms with?

I stared at the blaring global chat until my head started to throb, then hid the global channel tab. This really wasn’t a minor thing. The war announcement going out to every server chat made it clear how big the fallout could be. Especially since EveningGlow was the #1 guild.

Guild wars are such a lose-lose that people generally avoid them, but they go out of their way to use all five declarations every single year—and target weaker guilds just to flex?

I remembered our mic chats and the way he handed out items so casually. The fact that this guy was out here bullying other guilds online… it left a bad taste.
Maybe I misjudged him. Especially since I’d heard they were on good terms with OneHeartOneWill.

Yoo Chae, who hadn’t answered any of WoonYoom’s messages, had gone and used a megaphone to shout his drama to the whole server. The guild chat, and even global—just starting to calm down—immediately reignited.

[Server] Yoo Chae: But we had no choice.
[Server] Yoo Chae: Because OneHeartOneWill stole something very important from us.

The moment I read that, I knew exactly what the next line would be.
It was one of those surreal, spine-crawling moments. I could feel the horror coming.
