He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact

Chapter 251. Uproar 3

"Sister. I want to get rid of the kid as much as you do, but aren't you always the level-headed one? Like I've said about a million times, it's a stupid idea, what you are thinking of doing."

In the virtual universe, Enna Harker was seated in the hall of a villa with Francisca Harker, who was currently trying to talk some sense into Enna.

This was weird because it was always the other way around. Enna had logged into the virtual universe, fuming.

She had informed Francisca about the sensation Kailen had just caused in the alchemy department, alongside the sudden disappearance of her disciples she had sent after him to kill him.

She was obstinate about heading to the alchemy department to get rid of Kailen in an overwhelming manner.

However, Francisca, the usual blockhead, had strangely managed to talk some sense into her for her to calm down. Enna sighed deeply.

Francisca was right. Inasmuch as she hated Kailen deeply and wanted to get rid of him, it wasn't worth acting impulsively.

The academy had very notorious sanctions for instructors who attacked students (this didn't mean that students could cause trouble for instructors, as there were sanctions in place for students who disrespected and crossed instructors).

There had even been an instance in the past where an instructor beat up a student because the student insulted the instructor's disciple. The punishment the instructor received was not something Enna Harker wanted to experience. She shuddered in fear just thinking about it. She finally managed to calm down after her sister talked some sense into her.

"It seems we have to go with the former plan then," Enna said. Francisca nodded, a sharp glint of maliciousness flashing through her eyes.

Inwardly though, she was relieved she had managed to calm her sister down.

Enna being an instructor at the academy had really helped the family's prestige. If she went and did something stupid right now, it would ruin the family's image. Thankfully, Enna managed to calm down, heeding her advice.

"Even if your disciples are dead, I'm confident it was through some unfortunate incident on the Seragun plane," Francisca said. "There's no way it's his doing. While the bastard is powerful for a rank 1 beginner stage Ascendant level lifeform, it's impossible for him to even fight, or moreso, kill three strong rank 5 intermediate stage Ascendant level lifeforms."

Enna nodded in agreement. "Mmm. I have the perfect plan in mind for him to die." A glint of maliciousness flashed through Enna's eyes.

Having placed the elixir in his storage ring, Kailen stepped out of the room, heading towards the counter.

The moment he reached the counter, he saw the bunny-looking lady staring at him with a complicated expression.

She opened her mouth to say something. However, before she could even spill her words, Kailen replied to her with the same words she had used for him earlier: "Fuck off." He didn't even spare her a glance, then walked out of the building. The bunny-looking lady was feeling extremely stupid at this point for her behavior. But the dish of regret, once served, could only be eaten.

As for the first years who had offended him earlier by mocking him, the moment the announcement was made, they realized they had offended the ruthless top-ranked of the first-year students.

They had seen his ruthlessness during the entrance exams.

They didn't want to become his scapegoats.

The bastards even ditched the idea of waiting for him to apologize to him, as their fear of him doing something extremely evil to them the moment he encountered them again kicked in.

By the time Kailen came out of the building, they had already fled the scene.

Very soon, several alchemy students, both senior students and juniors, came to the building to try and build some sort of connection with this genius, but to their disappointment, he had left.

Kailen was currently headed towards the house of the professor whose son needed the Talent Enhancing Elixir for his mission to be completed. "Looks like I'm starting to get the hang of this whole direction thing."

However, he suddenly felt like eating his own words after finding himself in a very large forest after following the directions on the map. "You gotta be kidding me.

Just when I thought I was getting the hang of it." He checked the map again. To his surprise, he was at the right place. He was not lost. This was not his poor sense of direction at work. Rather, the forest before him was where the professor's house was.

Utilizing his shadow sense, Kailen was able to make out the shadow of a large villa located somewhere in the inner parts of the forest. "Whew. Turns out I didn't lose my direction." Kailen quickly bolted towards that particular direction as soon as possible, passing through the forest. Having traversed mountains, lakes, flora, and fauna of the forest and drawing closer to the villa, he couldn't help but smell the scent of herbs lingering here and there.

Kailen saw many herbs he could recognize from the gardens outside the villa, courtesy of the exceptional knowledge he had as a rank 1 alchemist thanks to the comprehensive knowledge of Alchemy Level 1.

"Interesting." Ignoring the tempting sight of the quality herbs, Kailen headed towards the flamboyant gates of the villa. Two guards, one a male human and the other a female vampire, stood afront the villa. The moment they saw him, they asked Kailen to state his business.

"I'm here to fulfill the berserk mission the professor posted several hundreds of years ago."

The guards stared at each other in disbelief for a while, whispering some words to themselves, clearly thinking of how to respond to the stranger.

"He's Kailen Darkhaven," the female whispered to the male, clearly recognizing Kailen.

"The guy who just got 98 percent purity level for an alchemical product?" the male human replied with shock.

"Yeah, pay more attention to academy news, will you? He's also the one who recently took on the mission!" the female vampire berated the male human.

"Could it be that he finished it?"

"I don't know, but from what he has achieved today, I don't think it's impossible. Let's let him in. Besides, can we afford to offend a genius of his caliber? We are just third-year students working a mission as gatemen for a couple of points, whereas this guy has more student credits than both of us combined."

Kailen listened to them from the side patiently as they thought of what to do. Finally, they managed to do the sensible thing and let him in.
