"Group hug?"
Micheal smiled.
"Sniff sniff.. Sure..."_Charles.

" Yep"_Arrie
They dragged the shy Kailen in for a hug.
" Dude are you crying?" Kailen asked Charles.
Charles replied " No" _Manages to wipe a tear from his eyes.
" Don't you think it's the perfect moment for a group picture ?" Arrie chimed in.
The group took a nice picture , with different appearances and a crying Charles trying to hide his face.

" Did we really have to come to an amusement park. How the hell did I agree to this?"
Kailen was literally shocked .
After their touching reunion and the heartfelt conversations , the group had decided to visit an amusement park.
Kailen said he didn't like crowded areas ,kind of made him feel suffocated .
Hell if anyone cared about what he thought.
The next thing he realized ,he stood in the amusement park flooded with millions of people from different races , walking around and giggling.
The atmosphere was very lively .
" Godspeed Kailen. Godspeed " Charles tapped Kailen's shoulders with a satisfied grin.
From the expression on Kailen's face he could deduce the guy was kinda struggling to not dissapear from the amusement park.
Charles looked in Arrie's direction " See how happy she is"
Kailen sighed . His gaze softened when he saw Arrie's neck twisting towards different locations with a gleeful expression like a small child who had been given some boxes of sweet candy.

Atop the Ferris Wheel , screams of other people alongside Kailen and co could be heard.
Micheal surprisingly was screaming that he wanted to get off the ride.
" For the first time in 25 years I just realized I'm scared of heights so I'm leaving "
" Pffffttttt. How the tables have turned. Weren't you the one who suggested we come to an amusement park" Kailen mocked him as his clothes and hair danced in the wind.
" You are not going anywhere big bro. Want Felicia to find out her dad is not as cool as she thought he was? A scaredy cat who shyes away from a little Ferries wheel?" Arrie mocked him with a subtle threat directed his way.
Micheal gulped and swallowed his saliva.
Whenever his little girl was included , it was a different situation entirely.
Charles stared at Micheal with feigned pity. He redirected his gaze to Arrie and said " You are wicked you know that "
Arrie snorted " hmph!" She turned to Kailen " I learnt from the best "
The group laughed , enjoying the rest of the ride on the ferries wheel.
After that ,they did various things together at the amusement park , participating in different rides such as a the chair swing ,drop tower amongst others.

" So, guess its goodbye for now right?"
Arrie's gaze softened when she stared at Kailen.
Kailen pulled her into a hug " Mmm I'll miss you"
" I'll miss you more Kai. Show them what's good in the entrance exams .We will be watching and rooting for you "
Charles and Micheal gave Kailen some fist bumps .
" Tell Felicia she will be seeing uncle soon"
" Will do " Micheal replied with a smile.
"And Jane, tell her I've not forgotten about our unsettled grudge. She should quit being a family head as become a professional gamer"
Charles chuckled " Hey, you should tell her that in person. Don't want her to beat me up"
Memories of his mother spanking his grownup ass resurfaced in his mind and sent chills down his spine.
Kailen shook his head with a smile at his words.
" Lee and Angela are still not back though. Those guys are really taking their time on their vacation.You should holla them, you know,find out how they are doing"
Micheal added.
" Sure mate " Kailen replied .
" See you soon guys . Got an entrance exams to prepare for " He added jokingly " Bring me souvenirs from Antartica . Oh...and gentlemen , make sure the Lady is well protected ,else, I'll have your heads "
With that ,the chuckles of his friends dissapeared as he logged out of the virtual universe.
Kailen had a smile plastered on his face.
He was genuinely happy and he felt strangely refreshed .
" Guess I needed to have some fun and hang out with my friends more than I thought I did . With all the hectic stuff that's been happening lately ,Unwinding was pretty much important "

Front lines , Astral Empire .
The battle field echoed with battle cries .
The sound of catastrophic booms resulting from the clash of vimodial contractors and soldiers of the Astral Empire resounded in the environs,the very air and space trembling from the clashes.
On this same battle field, alongside many others engaged in a battle,two were engaged in a fierce battle .
A male figure with chestnut hair and deep crimson eyes ,donned in a red armor pulsing with dark intricate runes clashed relentlessly with a collosal beast_ several times in the span of a few seconds.
The male figure plummeted from the skies to the ground , crashing into the battlefield and causing vibrations to spread in the environs .
The beast ,assuming a feminine humanoid form ,followed quickly after him, holding him quickly by the neck after dragging him out of the large wide crater his fall created.
His life force was being drained.
" Vampires ,how trouble some. You are a genius , I gotta say. So much life force too. You will make a tasty meal"
The Vimodial contractor said ,staring intently at Jackson Bloodfallen with a crazed expression as she consumed his life force.
The beast at the rank 1 supreme stage ascendant level ,had been engaged in a clash with Jackson for a while now ,however the vampire ,although weaker than him ,had been holding his ground.
It took her a while to take him down, but it was worth it.
However she suddenly felt something was off .
The vampire had a crazed expression on his face too.
Wasn't he scared of dying ?
Suddenly, she let go of the vampire who's life force she was draining and activated her trump card.
" Beast surge"
The creature's feminine form pulsed with some sort of grotesque energy as she turned into a collosal version of her beast form_ a humongous serpentine creature .
Some sort of dark ball of energy started forming in her mouth as she stared at the actual Jackson calmly floating on the air ,his clone having dissapeared.
" So perceptive . You even managed to detect that I substituted my self with my clone before I crashed into the ground . But it's too late. You gave me enough time to prepare my final attack "
