Hate me, Miss Witch!

Chapter 101: The First Time, It Was I Who Took It Away (2 in 1)_2

This sensation was somewhat similar to the time when his teacher, Hathaway, had pulled him into the Astral Realm, yet it was much softer now. Even so, the softness that fluttered between their lips had not yet dissipated.

Shiayar unconsciously opened his eyes, only to see the girl before him with her eyes tightly closed, her eyelashes fluttering slightly.

Such a countenance was identical to the one Shiayar remembered, as if the five hundred years had not left a single mark on Silvia's form.

Unlike Enola's kiss, which was as fleeting as a dragonfly skimming water, just a peck on the forehead before pulling away, Silvia's kiss was much longer, filled with deep and profound longing. She greedily sought more, reluctant to stop for a long time.

After a long while, the two finally separated.

Silvia's long eyelashes trembled lightly, and then she opened her eyes, revealing her pure Cangyin eyes.

"Brother Shiayar, what are you feeling now?"

That voice, pleasant as the sound of wind chimes, was not at his ear but resonated directly within the depths of Shiayar's heart.

Shiayar thought for a moment, about to offer a polite response such as "flattered beyond measure." But the next moment, he heard his own voice echo throughout the world, "Although it's a bit unexpected, it feels awesome."

Crap, where is this place.

It wasn't until then that Shiayar realized the world around him was different.

Gone was the vast and magnificent Hall of Oaths from earlier. In its place was a secluded and quiet courtyard, where a small tree at the end of the garden bore delicate white flowers.

He was sitting on the steps of the courtyard, the clear moon above, while the distant roar of the waves crashing against the rocks at Grant Sea could be faintly heard.

Shiayar recognized this place... It was the courtyard that belonged to Silvia in the depths of the ducal residence in the old Azure Garden Royal Capital. During the time when Shiayar and Silvia had first encountered each other, they spent many a difficult night here, watching the flowers and plants in the garden, drinking milk tea or coffee.

Yet, this courtyard should have been burnt down in the great fire at the Azure Garden Royal Capital five hundred years ago.

"This is my Spiritual World as a Legendary, and also the manifestation of my Mind Landscape, Brother Shiayar."

Once again Silvia's melodious voice rang out, as she too sat on the steps next to Shiayar, gazing at the distant sky. On that fair face of hers, a barely perceptible blush had arisen due to Shiayar's earlier blunt confession, "it feels awesome."

"Or perhaps, this is actually the Spirit Realm."

Shiayar nodded. According to the transcendental knowledge he possessed, the Spirit Realm was essentially a confluence of the inner worlds of countless sentient beings within the Multiverse. But Shiayar did not know that there was a way to bring someone else's Spiritual Entity into one's own inner world.

Legendary beings sure know how to play.

"What about my flesh body in the Main Material Plane?"

"I've sent it back to your home, Brother Shiayar; it's currently sound asleep in your bed."

The corners of the girl's mouth suddenly curved into a smile, "But I've only just realized now that Brother Shiayar's sleeping face is so adorable.

"Even though you always appear so mysterious and put on a façade of profundity, making you hard to figure out, while sleeping you're just like a little kid."

Shiayar covered his face.

He imagined how he must have looked lying asleep on the bed, utterly defenseless, while Silvia sat quietly watching him... He felt as though the aloof persona he had painstakingly cultivated in front of Silvia had completely crumbled, akin to a massive, embarrassing social blunder.

Fortunately, Silvia didn't dwell on this mortifying topic for too long, quickly turning her gaze back to Shiayar.

"This is the Spirit Realm, my ocean of spirit. All thoughts and desires in the heart will manifest in a more direct form here."

"So, no lying, okay? You can only speak the truth."

Silvia looked into Shiayar's eyes, speaking word by word. In those Cangyin eyes, there existed both a touch of anticipation and a hint of timidness that comes with being close to one's heart's desire.

"Brother Shiayar, I want to know everything about that night."

"And in your heart, what place do I actually occupy?"

What kind of damn death-seeking question is this?

Shiayar sighed deeply in his heart.

But it was indeed time to understand his own feelings. If he could previously excuse himself with the reason that "five hundred years had passed, maybe she had already forgotten about me." But when Silvia's kiss came, Shiayar realized he had no place left to hide. Or maybe he didn't need to hide at all. Shiayar knew he was always a greedy person. Those who were not greedy would not aspire to write an 'Evaluation Guide to Customs of Exotic Tribes.' Only children would choose multiple choice questions; adults want to have it all. Moreover, many things were just misunderstandings in the first place. The current Silvia was no longer the naive and helpless little girl she once was. She was one of the strongest in the Western Continent and no longer needed to rely on that hatred to live.

The next moment, Shiayar's body began to rapidly dematerialize. Finally, he turned into a surreal, profound black mist.

This was the Spirit Realm where only Spiritual Entities exist with no physical matter, so as a pure Spiritual Entity, theoretically speaking, Shiayar could change his form at will. And this cloud-like state was the most efficient for transferring information.

Sensing Shiayar's actions, Silvia also quickly understood his intentions.

Theoretically, a 4-Ring Beastmaster would just have begun to realize the existence of their own Spiritual World and would be far from being able to freely control their spirit, let alone change its symbolic form.

However, since it was Brother Shiayar, it wasn't surprising at all.

Silvia's form also quickly dematerialized and turned into a mist as well. But unlike Shiayar's profound black mist, the Spiritual Entity that Silvia became was a pure silver cloud, hazy and elegant, astonishingly beautiful.

Silvia's Spiritual Entity took the initiative to move closer to Shiayar, and it wasn't long before she neared the pitch-black mist. Then, the black mist and silver clouds merged intimately, slowly intertwining as one, indistinguishable from each other.

This was the most intimate state of Spiritual Entity contact. With just one thought or intention, one could let the other know what they were thinking.

Shiayar's thoughts flickered slightly.

The next moment, strands and wisps of pitch-black mist began to seep out from his spiritual symbol. They surged towards the silver cloud.

That was the final act of the Echo of History from the Ancient Dukedom Azure Garden. Shiayar was using the last of his strength to unleash Moon Reading, ripping and rewriting the memory shards from the depths of Silvia's consciousness. It was also what Silvia, after ascending to Legendary, found as a void and a gap in her Soul when she examined her heart from a higher perspective.

The strands of black mist quickly penetrated the outer layers and reached the center of the silver cloud. That was the core of Silvia's Soul, as well as the lifeline of every Beastmaster, crucial for constructing their self-awareness and cognition.

For any Beastmaster who majors in spiritual power, this is more important than their physical body, absolutely not to be tainted by outsiders. After all, without a body, one might still have theories of seizing another body for reincarnation or living another life with strong spiritual power. But if self-awareness is gone, then even if the body still exists, one is no longer oneself.

The evil cults spread their doctrine and deluded followers by using pollutants to forcibly invade their soul cores. They rewrote their self-awareness, thus creating zealous Zealots so quickly.

However, facing the black mist transmitted by Shiayar, Silvia chose not to reject it. She voluntarily dismantled her spiritual barrier as a Legendary, allowing the black mist, marked with Shiayar's soul imprint, to flow freely into her soul core.

Untainted spiritual energy merged into Silvia's Soul.

Thus, the blanks and gaps of that night's memories were filled and completed.

That sense of soul fulfillment made her feel quite comfortable. Silvia's ethereal Spiritual Entity trembled slightly. The entire expanse of the Cangyin cloud-like Spiritual Entity created ripples, one after another.

After a long time, the ripples in the Cangyin cloud finally subsided.

The black mist and the silver cloud separated once more, taking on solid human forms again.

But for some reason, Silvia's delicate, pale complexion, as stunningly beautiful as a porcelain doll, now bore an unmistakable blush. It was like the fiery red glow of the dawn, lingering for a long time.
