Chapter 10: The Black Family Declares War

"The Black family is deeply honored by your presence today. It is the first time I have seen you since I left the family," Cole said casually, though with polite words. He knew these people came today because he had caused a big disturbance in Knockturn Alley. If they didn't know Cole's fighting ability, they surely knew how powerful Dumbledore was. These figures understood what this principal could do for the stability of the wizarding world. They both loved and hated Dumbledore, someone who was both reasonable and, in their view, ethically conflicting. They loved that with Dumbledore, England's position in the wizarding world was untouchable, but they hated Dumbledore's love and tolerance for half-blood wizards. Interestingly, the Dumbledore family is also a pure-blood family, but they don't side with them.

"I know that for the benefit of the family, you have followed Voldemort and done many things." When Cole directly called out the Dark Lord's name, they were surprised but also knew that it was nothing abnormal. Of course, you don't need to be afraid of the Dark Lord if you have strength, especially now that the Dark Lord is gone, and most of the loyal Death Eaters are like lost dogs. These pure-bloods are not die-hard loyalists of the Dark Lord. They followed him mainly for profit. Only Bellatrix and her husband, two insane individuals, would have no doubt about the Dark Lord's pure-blood supremacy statements. While they did follow the Dark Lord, they believed they had the final say in England.

"You all know about Knockturn Alley, right? Someone is coveting my Black family. Does this matter have anything to do with you?" Cole smiled and glanced at everyone.

Old Mrs. Longbottom said, "This matter has nothing to do with my Longbottom family." Cole had no doubt; her son and daughter-in-law were still lying in St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, and she was in no mood for such matters. The Longbottom family had been running their potion industry honestly and had always scorned Voldemort's theories. Taking into account Cole's intimidation, several people assured him it had nothing to do with their family. Even old Barty, a senior executive of the Ministry of Magic, began to express his position. No one wanted to mess with a ruthless Black now.

"Of course, I believe you all. It seems that the Lestledge family has done something well. No one came today. Is that not due to a guilty conscience?" Cole was just expressing his stance in front of everyone, showing that he intended to attack the Lestledge family. This also indirectly indicated that Lestledge provoked him first.

"I really wonder if my cousin Bellatrix is out of her mind to be so loyal to Voldemort," Cole mused. Hearing him say that name, Mrs. Longbottom's face showed hatred, recalling her son and his wife's torture by Bellatrix.

"Since the Wrightsledge family is sworn to follow the Dark Lord and is unwilling to show up, there is no need for them to appear in the future," Cole stated as he stood up and struck the dining table with his right fist. "Starting today, the Black family officially declares war on the Wrightsledge family until death."

Lucius and the others did not expect Cole to be so decisive. They thought he was just seeking compensation from the Wrightsledge family. It's no joke for a family to declare war. Although a pure-blood family's main line may have few people, a large family has many branches, and countless family members rely on the main lineage's name to make a living, controlling many resources.

Despite Cole's actions, there were many people in the Black family besides him; however, they had all been cut off by Sirius.

In the past, many branches of the Black family ran shop estates, but Sirius actually donated his family's property to Hogwarts for the great cause of the Order of the Phoenix. What a prodigal; he could even give his own Potions Manor to Hogwarts. Could it be that Dumbledore is too good at persuasion? The pure-blood families looked at each other but did not dare to speak. They could only look at Lucius. They are still relatives, after all, and they hoped they could talk to each other.

Unexpectedly, Lucius also started to act innocent. At this time, he didn't want to find the evil wolf, Cole. Slytherin's judgment of the situation was brought to full display by Lucius. "After I finish speaking, do you have any comments?" Cole looked around, but no one dared to speak, and then he introduced Meira to them. From today on, there will be one more person in the circle of pure-blood aristocratic wives.

After chatting for a while, these people also left one after another, rushing home to pass on the news, warning family members not to provoke the Black family. This thousand-year-old pure-blood family is finally going to start cannibalism.

"Lucius, if I come to your place as a guest another day, you won't be unwelcome." "Cole, you are always welcome at Malfoy Manor. Snape will soon become Draco's godfather. Please come over when the time comes." Cole did know that the dragon's godfather was Snape, and he couldn't help but sigh in his heart. Lucius is really shrewd.

After sending Lucius away, Cole also started his own plans. Wright and the others were too few. Decisively spending gold galleons and honor points, since the Knockturn Alley incident, the Black family's reputation has greatly increased, and they have given away a lot of honor points. Two teams of wizards were organized, led by Richie and John, respectively, and were given the surname Black.

Three professor-level wizards, leading the wizard team, took the lead in attacking the Lestrechi family's store. The blood mist was rising again in England, which had just been calm. The Aurors were in a hurry, but they could not catch the wizards of the Black family. By the time they arrived, Wright, Rich, John, and others were long gone, and the store's potions and gold galleons had all been emptied out. All that's left is for Kreacher to buy these ownerless shops in the name of the Black family.

The other pure-blood nobles looked at Cole's actions, and none of them dared to stand up and compete. The Wrightsledge family, which had lost Bella and his wife, was completely defeated. The family had long been registered with the Ministry of Magic, and the Ministry of Magic was still worried about being unable to deal with them as Death Eaters. Of course, the actions of the Black family also caused panic among mixed wizards, who did not want to experience the Dark Lord's reign of terror again.

Fudge visited Cole in person, only said a few words in the study, and then left in despair. Cole looked at Fudge's back and didn't take the Ministry of Magic's warning to heart at all. What he killed was a Death Eater, not an ordinary wizard, let alone someone from the Wrightsledge family who provoked him first. That's right, unlike other pure-blood families, everyone in the Lestledge family is a Death Eater and a die-hard loyalist to Voldemort. Fudge came here just to get a piece of the pie.

But Cole doesn't have the habit of sharing his cake with others. Either he doesn't do it, or he must do it. Three wizard teams plus himself, facing a group of rats from the Lestledge family, Cole just wanted to say, how could he lose? The advantage is mine!
