Chapter 113

Chapter 113

David twisted up some of the dried fish in the bag and sprinkled them on the lake. Some tiny particles kept floating around, luring the creatures inside.

"What's in there?" Hermione looked curiously at the dried fish floating on the lake with wide eyes.

After a while, some dark-skinned black fish about an arm's length jumped out from the bottom of the lake.

"It's them?" As soon as Hermione finished speaking, the black fish that had just opened its mouth to swallow the dried fish froze, swung its tail, and disappeared in front of her eyes in an instant.

Hermione was startled, and just as she was about to raise her head to ask David, she heard him say, "Look out, they're here."

The surface of the lake fluctuated for a while, some bubbles popped up, and a few green devils swam up from the bottom of the lake, waving their feet and waving the water with their hands.

"What is this?" Hermione frowned slightly and took a step back involuntarily.

The ugliness of the creatures frightened her.

"This is Grindelwald, a magical aquatic animal. They usually live in lakes and feed on small fish." David said with a smile, signaling Hermione not to be so afraid.

Hermione moved forward a little after listening.

But Grindelwald in the lake finished eating the dried fish, and they jumped out of the lake, their long and sharp fingers gliding through the air, as if they wanted to grab the dried fish in David's hand.

Hermione immediately took another step back, shrinking behind David.

"Do you want to feed them?" David handed the dried fish to Hermione.

Hermione shook her head hastily.

"Okay." David tore open the package and spilled the remaining dried fish on the lake.

Grindelwald writhed in the water, scrambling for food on the lake.

And when the two Grindelwalds aimed at a dried fish, they would never give in, and opened their mouths to bite each other if they disagreed.

Their fingers are very fragile, and they can grab some things, and they can be used for fighting. It is guaranteed that all fingers will be broken after a while.

After several fights, some green liquid appeared on the surface of the lake, which was Grindelwald's blood, and they also ate up the dried fish on the lake.

Seeing that Hermione was not very interested, David took her back, and Ron and the others should have arrived almost as well.

Shortly after the two of David left, several creatures emerged from the bottom of the lake.

They looked like fish and people, two of them had a mess of black hair with a few water plants tangled on it, and a big mouth with some broken yellow teeth.

And all of them held a stone spear in their hands.

These are the mermaids that have lived in the Black Lake for generations.

A few mermaids floated on the lake, directing Grindelwald to go back.

A larger mermaid stared at the direction David and the two left with a pair of yellow eyes.

If the two of them hadn't left quickly, I believe the mermaid would have used the stone spear in his hand to ask them for advice, leaving a few holes in their bodies.

After all, it is not a friendly thing to tease their pets without the owner's permission.

After returning to the place agreed with Ron, David saw Ron and Neville lying sprawled under the shade of a big tree.

"Where did you go?" Ron saw David approaching and asked hurriedly.

"We went to see a creature in the Black Lake." David led Hermione to sit next to them.

"What animal? Is it ferocious? How does it compare to a three-headed dog?" Ron's eyes widened instantly.

"Grindelwald is just a small animal with no fighting power." David shrugged.

"Its shape is quite intimidating. After seeing it once, people don't want to watch it a second time." Hermione added.

"Oh" Ron lost interest after hearing this, and Neville also lowered his head to arrange the cards.

For them, as long as they are not powerful enough, even magical animals are not considered in their hearts.
After Neville sorted out the cards, he placed it in the middle.

Afterwards, Neville handed several people a white card with a number "0" on it.

David tapped the cards with his wand, and the cards automatically divided into four stacks and flew in front of Hermione and the others.

"I will play out first, and then each person will play out a card in clockwise order." David explained to Hermione: "If the same card appears on the field, you need to quickly say that the white card is the first one. A point will be scored."

"When you make a mistake, the card will fly in front of you and explode. Be careful." David said with a smile, "Do you understand?"

Hermione pursed her lips, thought for a moment, and nodded.

"That's a good start." David pointed with his wand, and the top card of the stack of cards in front of him slowly flew to the center of the field.

After a few rounds, the numbers on Hermione and David's white cards became 4 and 5, Ron's was 2, and Neville's was a pitiful 0.

At this time, the game has also reached a more difficult stage, and everyone's cards are flying to the middle position rapidly.

David and the others were all focused on the center, for fear of missing any two identical cards.

"Catch it!" Neville suddenly shouted excitedly, but soon his face collapsed, he was wrong.

The card that just flew out showed a knight on a horse. He turned his spear and pointed in Neville's direction, and the card flew over quickly.

Neville looked sad and closed his eyes, ready to accept his punishment.

The cards flew in front of Neville's face, there was a puff of black smoke, and then there was a bang, the cards shattered into pieces, and then floated into the box and recovered.

Neville slowly opened his eyes, and David and the others burst into laughter as they looked at him.

Neville's face was covered with a thin black film.

If you keep calling wrong, after a few rounds, you can go to Africa to meet relatives.

And it's worth mentioning that the darker the black marks on a person's face, the slower it will take to dissipate, and no spell can clear it up, at least David doesn't know about it.

If your face becomes pure black, then congratulations, prepare to stay with this black face for 10 minutes.

"Come again!" Neville took a deep breath and said unconvinced.

Another card flew out of the card in front of him.

Then Ron's card flew out too, and when it was turned over, David saw that it was exactly the same as Neville's.

"Catch" David just opened his mouth.

Ron yelled, "Catch it!"

The white card in front of him turned into 3.

"Thank you, Neville." Ron burst into a smile.

After the last round of card rounds, the number on David's card became 10, Hermione's was 8, and Ron's was 6.

Neville won several waves in the last few rounds, but he was still at the end, his number was 4.
And except for David, the faces of the rest of them were somewhat black.

In the final stage of grabbing points, they all became aggressive, causing them to make repeated mistakes.

Relying on the advantages accumulated in the front area, David watched their faces turn darker and darker calmly, reaping the benefits of fishing.

"You lost." David finished with a smile, and quickly moved away from them.

Before Hermione could react, the cards piled up in the middle flew up. This was the one they didn't call out or called out by mistake.

After dangling in the air for a while, the cards split into three stacks, the stack facing Neville being the thickest.

"These cards will also explode in front of us?" Hermione opened her eyes and said hurriedly.

"Of course, the loser will definitely have some punishment." David's face was filled with a bright smile, which is the right of the winner.

Hermione watched the card in front of her get closer and closer, she rolled her eyes and glanced at David inadvertently.

Then, when the cards were in front of her, she threw herself into David's arms and buried her head.

The card suddenly turned around and arrived in front of David. In his surprised eyes, it exploded into a piece of paper flowers with a bang.

When the sound ended, Hermione looked up at David's dark face and laughed loudly.
