Harem With Venom In Marvel/Dc

Chapter 152: Chapter 150: Deadpool Storms into DC

Gotham

In the cold and damp depths of the Batcave, the only illumination came from the glow of the surveillance monitors.

Batman, a lone shadow in the darkness, controlled the vast network of electronic eyes spread throughout Gotham. His sharp gaze remained locked onto the screens, the flickering lights casting shifting shadows on his chiseled face.

"Master Bruce, you should rest. You haven't closed your eyes for 26 hours straight."

Alfred approached with steady steps, carrying a steaming bowl of thick soup. His voice carried concern, tinged with helplessness.

Truth be told, Bruce's life would have long spiraled into chaos if not for Alfred's dedicated care, ensuring that the billionaire vigilante could function despite his nocturnal crusade.

"I'll rest. After I take care of the drone bombings and return Two-Face to Arkham, I'll sleep."

Bruce's fingers danced across the keyboard without even turning to look at Alfred.

Alfred sighed softly. "Master Bruce, you never take care of yourself."

He knew that once Bruce had made up his mind, no amount of reasoning would change it. So, he simply stood to the side, silently waiting.

"Staying up this late… Were you waiting for us, Bruce?"

A sudden voice made Bruce's body tense for a fraction of a second, but he immediately recognized the speaker.

"Chino."

"Miss Damian!"

Alfred's expression brightened with surprise as he turned toward the entrance, where Chino, Venom, Pamela, and Damian appeared.

Venom gently put Damian down, and the little girl immediately dashed toward Alfred, throwing herself into his arms.

"Grandpa Alfred!"

"Miss Damian," Alfred said warmly, gently stroking her hair with affection.

Bruce's expression flickered as his gaze briefly landed on his daughter. But his cold demeanor quickly returned, and he continued his work without a word.

"Bruce, I brought your daughter to see you, and you don't even look happy?"

Chino seemed puzzled.

"I am happy. But I have more pressing matters right now."

Bruce kept his eyes fixed on the screens, his hands never stopping.

"And what could be more important than celebrating your daughter's birthday?"

"Birthday? Her birthday isn't for another two months," Bruce responded, confused.

"I celebrated it based on my world's timeline. The party ended yesterday, and today, I brought her to see you. You should at least make some time for your kid."

Chino explained, while Alfred and Damian both looked at Bruce expectantly.

Bruce was silent for a moment before finally speaking.

"Damian, I'm sorry. Spend the next few days with your godfather. Any expenses are on me. You can take the private jet anywhere you like. Gotham needs me right now."

A flicker of disappointment crossed Alfred's eyes. "Master Bruce, can't you put work aside for once?"

Damian also lowered her head, her excitement fading.

"It's okay, Dad..."

Venom, seeing this, immediately flared up in rage.

"Damn it, Chino! Just tie him up! I refuse to believe Gotham will explode without him!"

Pamela's brows furrowed as vines rapidly sprouted beneath her feet, ready to strike.

"Darling, do you want me to put him to sleep?"

Chino raised a hand to stop them and looked at Bruce with deep eyes.

"Is it that you can't leave Gotham, or that Batman can't leave?"

Bruce's eyes glinted.

"Batman can't leave."

"Alright."

Chino snapped his fingers, and a portal suddenly materialized. From it emerged an army of towering, muscular men.

They stood straight and disciplined, their mere presence lowering the temperature in the Batcave.

"Master, the Demon Arms Unit reporting for duty!"

Frank, the leader, saluted. The rest of the squad looked eager, their eyes gleaming with anticipation.

This Demon Arms Unit had all undergone the enhanced 2.0 fortification serum, gaining supernatural abilities from demon enchantments. Every single member was a war-hardened veteran, making them an undeniable force.

"Gotham will have a hundred Batmen from now on. Any objections?"

Chino smirked at Bruce.

"No killing."

Bruce nodded slightly. He then turned to Damian and gently picked her up.

"Damian, where do you want to go?"

"Anywhere, as long as I'm with you, Dad."

Damian tightly wrapped her arms around Bruce's neck, beaming with joy.

"Goodbye, Godfather, Venom Mom, Pamela Mom!"

"Goodbye, Damian. Your dad is loaded, so buy whatever you want. And if you see anything fun, buy some for me too. Pick the most expensive stuff." Chino teased.

"Got it, Godfather!"

Chino then turned to Alfred.

"You should go with them too. You've worked long enough. Besides, do you really trust Bruce to take care of Damian properly?"

Alfred hesitated for a moment before giving a graceful nod.

"Then I shall take my leave. Mr. Chino, ladies, there's some freshly heated soup in the kitchen. If you don't mind, feel free to have it as a midnight snack."

He bowed slightly before turning away with elegance.

"My little sweetheart~"

Venom drooped his head, looking dejected.

Pamela, however, frowned.

"Darling, I feel like Bruce just played us. He's leaving Gotham to us that easily?"

Chino crossed his arms.

*"It's not a scheme, just a test. He wants to see how far we'd go for Damian.

As for trusting us with Gotham, first, he knows I don't care about this city. Second, he definitely has a backup plan. I just don't know what it is yet."*

Pamela scoffed. "That Bruce… always scheming."

"Of course. If he wasn't, he'd have been dead eight hundred times by now." Chino shrugged.

"Frank, are you ready to introduce yourselves to Gotham?"

"Absolutely, Master. The boys can't wait!"

Frank stood tall, while his men straightened up with enthusiasm.

"Right! Becoming the Dark Knight has been my dream! Can I pick his suit first, Boss?"

A cheeky voice cut through the crowd.

Chino blinked.

The soldiers stepped aside, revealing a figure clad in obnoxiously bright red.

"Wade? How the hell did you sneak into the Demon Arms Unit?"

It had been a while since Chino had seen Deadpool, and he was genuinely surprised to find him among the troops.

*"Boss, the company was boring! Not my scene. So I asked Tom to transfer me here.

I love this squad! Everyone's talented, great to talk to, and they all have massive... weapons. I mean guns."*

Deadpool grinned, running his hands over the shoulders of a few squad members.

The ones he touched immediately darkened in expression. Ever since this guy arrived, the unit had known no peace.

If it weren't for his sheer strength and status as a core member, they would've beaten him to a pulp ages ago.

Even Frank sighed. If Wade weren't actually useful, he would've been kicked out already.

"Fine, Wade. I have a mission for you."

Chino sighed.

"What is it, Boss?"

Deadpool's eyes sparkled with excitement.

"You know Arkham? It's filled with 'talent.' Go have a little chat with them. Make sure they stay put for the next few days."

"I LOVE this mission, Boss! Can I pick Batman's suit first?"

"No problem. Just send me some pictures."

Chino nodded, watching Deadpool bounce with excitement.

Silently, he spared a moment of sympathy for Arkham's inmates.
