Kyle never gave much of a reaction so she was curious to see if this would elicit an emotional response like jealousy.

"It was with a man, an old friend of mine from high school," Cassandra confessed but her focus was glued on Kyle.

She wanted to see how he would react but there was no reaction from him because Kyle knew there was no one in her life that could match the level of comfort she got from him.

They arrived at the estate and Cassandra looked even more confused than ever.

"Wow, this place is amazing," Cassandra couldn't hide her awe.

They walked into the building and Cassandra thought he wanted to take her on some sort of tour.

"Wait, you are serious?" Cassandra asked before looking at the estate again.

"Kyle…" Cassandra muttered because this was too much.

The pace at which her life had changed in such a short timeframe was something right out of a movie.

"Why would you do this?" Cassandra blurted out, tears welling up in her eyes.

"It is because you deserve it. You have been through so much so it is only fair your luck starts to even out. I meant it when I said I would take care of all your needs," Kyle informed her and only then did his system respond.
