Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System

Chapter 204: Seal her again

Mortis and Sylphira glared at each other, but soon concentrated on the words of Ebony.

Ebony spoke again, her voice calm and steady. "She escaped. Meaning someone did that. I even looked for the world we had imprisoned her in."

She paused.

Mortis raised an eyebrow lazily. "And what did you do to that world? And what even did you do to big sister?"

A frown started to slowly appear on his lazy face. "You know we only agreed to seal her, nothing else."

"I didn't do anything. The world was destroyed when I went there to look for clues."

"And looking at what was left from the destruction, it hadn't been that long of a time," Ebony said to her two siblings, wanting them to understand the situation.

And indeed, Mortis and Sylphira immediately frowned, their expressions twisted in anger.

"Who dared to touch our big sister?" Mortis said, as shadows started to twist around him wildly, the atmosphere around him becoming even more corrosive.

"I wonder too, big brother. It seems these past few thousand years we have been too calm, haven't we?" Sylphira said, then soon grinned.

"How about we destroy a couple of their worlds?" she proposed with an eager grin, but also, under that grin, there was irritation growing.

She turned her head towards Ebony. "But first, who was responsible for this destruction?" Sylphira asked Ebony, who since the beginning didn't show any particular strong feeling.

Only cold analysis and pragmatism.

"It seemed the world destroyed itself, but I have seen the leftover of strong mana residuals made by plant magic," Ebony said with slightly pensive eyes.

"The elves," Mortis and Sylphira said at the same time.

Ebony smiled. "It seems like it. And not any family, as the power of that skill was extremely high-level," she said as she slowly raised her hand and pointed her finger up at the sky.

Suddenly, shadows twisted above it and soon a screen made of shadows became visible, and the screen showed Orien and Klaus.

Ebony smiled and said, "Golden-haired and green eyes. The typical characteristics of the Worldborn."

Mortis and Sylphira looked at the screen, their expressions being a little difficult now that they knew it was the Worldborn — and without being surprised by Ebony's power.

After all, with her unique shadow ability that helped her store past movements, Ebony managed to touch upon the power of time itself and do things like recreating past scenes of a given location easily.

"And I'm not done. It seems there was another being with them, but I can't seem to be able to see his face or anything, even with this power," Ebony said again, and this time with an intrigued expression.

After all, hardly anyone could hide themselves from her skills.

But Mortis and Sylphira didn't share her intrigue. Instead—

"How should we deal with the Worldborn? We should make clear they have trespassed our land," Mortis said coldly.

Ebony shook her head. "We won't do anything like that. You already know the Worldborn — they are troublesome with that damn old hag behind them. And that's not our priority for now."

She paused, letting her words sink in.

"Our priority is to find big sister," Ebony said with a serious voice.

They knew she was not dead.

They would have known if she was.

Shadeva was the first daughter of shadow, so do you think that Shadow itself would fall silent when its first daughter died?

No.

The whole shadow realm would have trembled in fury and anger.

But nothing happened. That means she was still alive somewhere. And they had to find her… fast.

"We have to find her before any of those factions become aware of it," Ebony said again firmly.

This time, Sylphira asked, "Will we have to imprison her again?" she asked in a low and painful voice, as if not bearing the idea of doing the same thing to her big sister again.

And it was not only her — even Mortis and Ebony felt the same.

They didn't want to do it.

Their faces clearly showed that much reluctance.

But Ebony nodded her head slowly. "We have to, Sylphira. Otherwise you know what would happen. And we are not strong enough to go against all of them together."

"And you know no one would help us," Ebony said before sighing in frustration.

The shadow space became silent for a while, as all of them were busy with their own thoughts.

"We were weak before. We were young. But it's not the same anymore, Ebony. We can drown millions of worlds in shadow in an instant. We can kill the will of a prime world if we get serious. And we can go against them," Mortis said with a strong voice.

"So tell me, why should we cower again? Let's fight them all. Let's take back our big sister and kill them all."

"You know why they did this to us. You know they were afraid of big sister's power — that's why they did all this. That's why they came to us for a trade and us…"

Mortis struggled to continue his words. He was deeply ashamed, and every time he thought about it, he just wanted to kill his past self for accepting such a damn trade.

Feelings that Ebony and Sylphira understood greatly.

"We were young and new in this universe. Don't be too hard on yourself, Mortis," Ebony said before continuing.

"And I understand your thoughts. But we are not alone. We can't take this decision easily. The fate of the shadow realm is on us. And if we are killed… it might get destroyed or enslaved."

"And we can't accept that. And also…"

Ebony smiled wryly, but also very, very angrily.

It was a weird contrast. Like she was resigned but at the same time she was so angry about it.

And that's weird — after all, resigned people usually don't feel angry at their situation anymore. They just accept it and go on.

But Ebony — or even any of the three siblings — did not.

And finally, Ebony spoke.

"You know they have us bound. And we can no longer disobey."

At her words,

Mortis and Sylphira became even more angry and livid at their past selves.

But the past was the past. Now they had to look forward.

"So first we find big sister, then…"

Ebony sighed again.

"Then we seal her again."

The siblings didn't speak again. Each of them was busy with their own thoughts.

And,

'Not this time,' Mortis thought with determination — determination to make up for what he had done.

'Big sister…' Sylphira thought with great guilt, as she thought of the big sister who always spoiled her and couldn't help but curse herself for being weak.

Ebony looked at each of them and sighed again, already seeing the headache coming.

But she let it pass, as for now, the most important thing was to find her big sister.

All that…

Not knowing the one they were looking for…

Was coming for them.
