Captain Aikichi Suwa asked helplessly.

"None of the tactics we prepared are working?"

Alan scratched his head, looking just as lost.

Before Spring High began, he had drawn up multiple strategies based on his extensive coaching experience to counter Karasuno…

But the moment he saw Karasuno play in person, all of them fell apart.

Because the weaknesses they'd spotted in past recordings… were gone.

Their coordination was near flawless. Their offense—sharp and explosive. Their defense—tight and organized.

They were like a well-oiled, unstoppable machine.

"But don't get discouraged," Alan said with a chuckle, glancing at his players.

"Even if we can't find the opponent's weak points, that doesn't mean we can't win."

"Oh?"

Everyone turned to look at him.

"As long as we play to our strengths and keep our mistakes to a minimum…"

"We still have a shot."

"Just a shot?"

Kōrai Hoshiumi raised an eyebrow, visibly dissatisfied.

"Can't you say something a little more uplifting?"

"Hahaha!"

Alan laughed, the corners of his eyes crinkling.

"You don't need me to hype you up!"

"And let's be honest—if I told you we were going to crush Karasuno no problem, none of you would believe me anyway!"
