Haikyuu - I Am A Different Hinata!

Chapter 91: Chapter 91-Concentration

After Shinzen's point, it was Chigaya's turn. He tossed the ball up, jumped, and slammed it firmly toward Karasuno's court.

"Leave it to me!" said Nishinoya as he received the ball, directing it to Kageyama. Kageyama, after observing the ball coming his way, positioned himself underneath it to set.

"Nice receive!" said Kageyama, who then decided to set the ball to Daichi this time.

"Nice set!" praised Daichi as he jumped and managed to spike through Akatani's arms in a triple block, sending the ball flying toward Shinzen's court. However, Kodama intercepted the spike, getting in front of the ball to make the receive.

"It's ours!" said Naguri as he made the receive with some difficulty but managed to get the ball up.

"Nice!" praised Shimafu as he watched his team running in sync while he prepared to set.

"Let's take it easy... let's try to read this play properly!" said Hinata to Tsukishima and Daichi.

"Not now..." said Tsukishima as he watched the ball pass by Ogano, who had jumped and faked a hit, letting the ball go toward Akatani.

"Now!" shouted Tsukishima as he jumped for the block alongside Hinata and Daichi.

"THUD!" Akatani tried to spike the ball but was met with a perfectly timed triple block from Karasuno, hitting Tsukishima's hand and sending the ball back to his own court.

2-2 Tied.

"Nice! We managed to read their synchronized attack for the first time!" said Takeda excitedly.

"It worked this time, but I don't think we can do it throughout the whole game. Still, it's a good sign that we can improve!" observed Ukai.

"You did great there!" said Hinata as he slapped Tsukishima on the back of the neck.

"Hey! Don't do that!" complained Tsukishima.

After Karasuno's point, it was Tsukishima's turn to serve, but he was called to be substituted by Yamaguchi, who was entering for the first time.

"I'm counting on you," said Tsukishima as he made way for Yamaguchi, who simply nodded.

"GO FOR IT, YAMAGUCHI!" shouted Nishinoya, who had also been substituted for Asahi to enter.

"We're training, now's the time to make mistakes! Go all out!" said Daichi.

"Got it!" said Yamaguchi as he nodded, looking determined. He tossed the ball up, took a small jump, and carefully hit the ball, executing his floating serve, which floated across the court until it lost height as it passed the net.

"FLAP!" The ball served by Yamaguchi lightly touched the net but fell to the side of Shinzen's court.

"Darn it!" said Naguri as he dove to try to receive the ball but failed, watching it hit the ground.

3-2 Karasuno.

"Nice!" celebrated Yamaguchi when he saw he had scored an ace.

"ONE MORE, YAMAGUCHI!" shouted Tanaka with a smile as he watched Yamaguchi serve again. The ball floated and again lost height as it approached the net, but this time it hit the net and fell to Karasuno's side.

3-3 Tied.

"Tsk!" grumbled Yamaguchi.

"It was a good debut!" praised Daichi, placing his hands on Yamaguchi's shoulders.

After Yamaguchi's failed serve, it was Ogano's turn. He served toward Karasuno's court, aiming for Yamaguchi, who was preparing to receive.

"It's mine!" shouted Tanaka as he stepped in front of the serve to help Yamaguchi with the receive, successfully directing the pass to Kageyama.

"Nice receive!" praised Kageyama as he prepared to set. In his field of vision, he saw Hinata running and already jumping. Without wasting time, Kageyama made a precise set to Hinata's hands, who executed the super quick cross shot, passing over the block that couldn't reach it in time.

4-3 Karasuno.

"Great set, as always!" said Hinata to Kageyama.

"Thanks, you did well too," said Kageyama, returning the compliment.

The game continued with Karasuno dominating the actions, mainly with the super quick, scoring without much trouble. Although they couldn't consistently read Shinzen's synchronized attack, they managed to win the set 25-21.

"Good game!" said Daichi as he approached Ogano.

"Yeah, it was a good game! But now we have to pay our penalty," said Ogano as he called his team to dive on the court.

"Alright, it's our turn again!" said Lev excitedly.

"Now we're facing Fukurodani," said Kuroo, also seeming excited, though his voice came out with a dark tone.

"This game is going to be fun! It probably happened a few times during the Tokyo qualifiers, right?" commented Hinata to Kageyama.

"Yeah, they probably have at least some rivalry..." said Kageyama seriously.

After this dialogue, the game began, and it was extremely intense. Nekoma tried to stop Fukurodani's attack but failed this time, losing the game 25-22.

"Wow, this Bokuto isn't just talk; he's really good!" said Tanaka after watching the game and seeing Bokuto score multiple points against Nekoma.

"Definitely two good teams... but now we need to focus on our next opponent..." said Daichi in a serious tone.

"This time, we're facing Ubugawa..." said Sugawara, seeming thoughtful.

"They're the serving guys! This is going to be fun!" commented Nishinoya energetically, getting excited about defending Ubugawa's serves.

"Let's get started!" shouted Daichi as he positioned himself on the court. Karasuno would receive first, and the ball was with Gora, Ubugawa's captain and best server. After bouncing the ball on the ground for a few seconds, he tossed it up and hit it with all his strength toward Karasuno's court.

"It's mine!" shouted Tanaka, who was the closest, but the ball hit his wrists and went out.

1-0 Ubugawa.

"That guy's serve is no joke!" commented Tanaka, surprised.

"But you'll get the next one, Ryu!" said Nishinoya.

"OF COURSE!" shouted Tanaka, getting even more fired up.
