GREED: ALL FOR WHAT?

Chapter 2004: Lucky Day.

She wasn't his food, so he decided to indulge her by replying. He said, "Today is your lucky day."

His will moved as an ocean of force. This ocean submerged her and grabbed her. She became frozen, unable to move an inch. Then the force dragged her down to the dark side of the void universe, and the head submerged itself again.

Only the immortal continent was still there. Nothing had been harmed on it. It will be difficult for anyone to notice that a fight had technically taken place here.

It wasn't actually a fight even though the Supreme Origin god had tried to resist. Her attempt at resistance was simply insignificant.

The whole process of capturing her was as easy as catching a chick. The Supreme Origin god couldn't even struggle. She didn't even know when she was captured. She only felt her world slow down until it stopped completely.

She was still aware, because of her Supreme law. But short of that, there is nothing else that she can do.

Legion-4 was intrigued as he examined her. She was in the palm of his hand, and she looked like an ant.

He chuckled to himself and said, "I can't believe I used to be this small."

He felt amused, but he didn't delay what he came to do because the other clones were hounding him to get on with it after he told them of his success in capturing her.

They don't have access to his mind and memory anymore, but he informed them of his progress. They are eager for the verdict, so they urged him.

He too is eager, so he plucked a white ball from Legion-0 and presented it to her. There was a golden line connecting the white ball to Legion-0. But it flickered and disappeared after the while ball appeared in the void universe.

The white ball was a soul sphere. It has also become a seed ever since it fused with Legion-0. Even though the Supreme Origin god didn't accept it, the soul sphere still drilled into her existence.

As soon as the seed touched her, it began producing golden roots that sank into body, soul, mind, and Supreme law. It spread quickly throughout her existence.

It was a seed after all. So it was just right that it took root in her existence. That's something that seeds do when they are planted in fertile ground.

The power of the soul sphere fused with the Legion-0 and, empowered with the Aspect of Infection, exploded within her and took root immediately.

Her existence resisted him. She refused to be subdued. But he didn't mind. First, he used the access granted to him through the soul sphere and combined it with the aspect of Knowledge to comprehend her Supreme law.

This was a slow process that took ten years. But it was necessary.

Her pain was also necessary. He tried to tell her that, but she didn't listen to him. She kept crying in pain even when he told her that it would all be over soon.

When he was done comprehending her Supreme law, he knew everything about her existence. He knew her past, her goals, and her capabilities like he knew his own.

This caused their existence to clash. It was a clash that she lost completely. So he had her subdued physically and metaphysically.

If she were a world god, the next thing to do would be to use the Aspect of Entropy on her. He would have injected Chaos energy into her. Together, they would have caused her existence to crack and her resistance to be broken.

But she was too weak for that. A slight use of force was enough to cause her existence to crack. It began to shatter into tiny pieces that flaked off of her.

This is where the seed came in. It assimilated the cracked parts and replaced them with more suitable parts. With her broken resistance and his total knowledge of her existence, no part of her existence could escape from the golden roots.

Her Supreme law was ordinary. It had only four aspects of Will, Energy, Matter, and Consciousness. The part that was destroyed by him and replaced by the soul sphere was the part of her Consciousness.

With their superior power, the aspect of Consciousness, and the Spark of Consciousness, this was easy to do. He was even able to rewrite her consciousness into his by refilling the destroyed part with his Supreme law.

But this change changed who she was irreversibly. It led to her technical death. The void universe couldn't help but get involved at that point.

He can kill a Supreme Origin god. He has that power, but he can't kill a Supreme Origin god permanently. The void wouldn't allow it.

So the void universe came to take away the remains of her body to heal it and resurrect her. He could fight the void universe about this. But he didn't.

He wasn't strong enough to resist the void universe, so he let the remains of the Supreme Origin god go. But before that, he poured cosmic energy into the remains to solidify the changes he had made to her. This made the void universe discard the part that had been changed permanently.

The void universe took back the remnant of her corpse, which was lacking in consciousness, and settled it in the spiritual dimension where it would heal.

The consciousness of the Supreme Origin god had been destroyed, but the void universe had a backed-up copy. It used this copy to heal the corpse.

While the corpse was healing, the remnant left behind was also healing. This remnant was the one with the changed consciousness.

Legion-4 looked at this remnant, chuckled to himself, and said, "If the void universe can heal a Supreme origin god, so can I."

Legion has done a lot of research into the resurrection mechanisms, and they have comprehended the Supreme law of order so they know everything that there is to know about how the void universe resurrects people. They can also replicate it.
