Great Mangaka

Upon returning home, Takumi began preparing his next manga.

Takumi chose Inuyasha, a boys' manga drawn by a female author.

The story of Inuyasha is set in the Sengoku Period. It narrates the fantastic adventure of Inuyasha, a hybrid between humans and monsters, and Kagome, a high school student who traveled through time and space to 500 years ago through the Bone-Eater's Well in her own shrine, in search of the fragments of the "Shikon no Tama."

However, choosing Inuyasha was an unprecedented challenge for Takumi. The animation ratings of this manga are very high, but its manga are much worse and sales are not very high, which represents a big difference from Detective Conan.

The commercial trend of this manga has been criticized by many. Takumi chose it and could earn millions of yen in half a year, but if he wanted to be more popular, he had to take risks.

The third was the image of the monsters. The characters in Inuyasha were basically monsters, and the important monsters were all very beautiful. However, the other A, B, C, and D background monsters were clearly treated differently. They were so ugly that they couldn't be looked at directly, and there were many bugs.

Takumi felt uncomfortable every time he saw bug-like monsters flying in the sky. 'Do you dare to be creative?' He wanted to change these A, B, C, and D background monsters and increase the variety of monsters, and this is what Japan lacks least. In fact, ultimately, the three main modifications, besides simplifying the content, are two more for embellishment. Takumi thought that, being a girls' manga, he would embellish it, drawing the main characters with greater beauty, making the background monsters more distinctive, and making the environment beautiful and vast.
