Chapter 766: Continuous Attack
As the terrifying divine power spread out, everyone was once again shocked. Ever since the joint attack of the Rogue Heart Sword Hero and Po Jun, all the attacks had been so shocking, every single attack had already surpassed the peak of a Heavenly Venerate, although not reaching the level of Primordial Honor, they had still gone beyond Heavenly Venerate. All of these attacks were probably the strongest ones they could unleash in their lifetimes. Everyone had poured all their strength, spirit, and mind into this attack. However, the strength of the Primordial Honor far exceeded everyone's expectations.
The joint slash of the Rogue Heart Sword Hero and Po Jun, the combined attack of Wen Yu and Yu Bo, the attack of Ziling and Overlord, and the attack of Pangu and Chaos Spiritless seemed to have caused no harm to the Primordial Honor. Even Wangchuan's all-out strike on the Totem God Pillar didn't seem to make a difference. As the terrifying divine power finally dissipated a little, everyone could finally see the situation on the field. They saw Wangchuan in mid-air, upside down, with his hands pressed against one end of the Totem God Pillar. On the other side, the Primordial Honor held up the enormous pillar with one hand, a sense of arrogance emanating from him.
Wangchuan's all-out strike still didn't harm the Primordial Honor. The Primordial Honor blocked it with one hand. Wangchuan, however, smiled and exerted force with his arms, flipping in mid-air and then stomping heavily on the Totem God Pillar. Using the rebound force, he shot into the sky. The pressure on the Totem God Pillar increased suddenly, even making the Primordial Honor struggle a bit. But with a slight bend of his arm, he already raised the pillar again. Just as the Primordial Honor was about to push the Totem God Pillar out again, Wangchuan was already descending from mid-air.
At that moment, the totems on Wangchuan's body seemed to come alive, with unfamiliar and familiar deities' totems all emerging on the surface of his body, then merging into his right arm. As all the deity tattoos entered his right arm, it instantly turned pitch black. By this time, Wangchuan was already above the Totem God Pillar. His right arm bent and then delivered a wild punch, directly striking the pillar.
Instantly, a series of loud and resonant sounds spread out. Upon closer inspection, one could see that the place where Wangchuan's punch landed had an indentation. The Totem God Pillar sank again, and the Primordial Honor's eyes changed. Finally, his empty hand lifted. The enormous impact of the Totem God Pillar was almost too much for the Primordial Honor to bear with one hand. Just as he lifted his other hand to support the pillar, a beam of five-colored light pierced through the space, hitting the Primordial Honor's throat.
The Primordial Honor roared angrily, channeling divine power through his arms and pushing the Totem God Pillar out, while turning halfway and kicking it at Wangchuan in the sky. Wangchuan had exhausted all his strength in that last punch; not only that, his right fist was covered in blood, the bones shattered, and his arm muscles were torn. Seeing the Totem God Pillar magnified in his pupils, Wangchuan showed a tragic expression. His name, Wangchuan, was also on the list of sacrifices.
Wangchuan was struck by the Totem God Pillar and felt as if his body was shattering before he lost consciousness and was carried by the pillar to the Nine Heavens. After Wangchuan fell unconscious, the Totem God Pillar, losing the support of Wangchuan's spiritual power, began to fall. Wangchuan also fell with the pillar, accompanied by incessant sprays of blood.
Without a glance at Wangchuan, the Primordial Honor looked in another direction, eyes full of killing intent. But after a few glances and seeing nothing, his face darkened. The Primordial Honor then slowly pulled out the five-colored arrow from his neck and broke it with his fingers. However, his neck bore no scars.
It turned out all of Wangchuan's attacks were merely a feint. The true killing move came from the five-colored arrow. The one who shot it was the Proud Cloud Longbow, the first archer of the Nine Great Divine Kingdoms. His name wasn't on the list of sacrifices because of his long-range assassination ability. That arrow was one of his three strongest attacks. The Five Elements Arrow, possessing the ability to pierce through all defenses, but still, it seemed not to harm the Primordial Honor.
"Very impressive, to achieve this level. But you still don't understand the gap between you and me." As the Primordial Honor finished speaking, a voice suddenly sounded behind him. "Don't be too arrogant. Your opponents are the strongest in this universe!" The Primordial Honor was not the least bit surprised, as if he had known about the person behind him all along. Without turning around, he thrust the Myriad Blood Halberd backward while his other hand struck towards an empty spot on the left. In doing so, he forced two figures out of hiding. They were Bu Rechen, the Domain Lord of Myriad Gods Hall and Jue Luan from Genesis Divine Nation. As their figures appeared, the Primordial Honor's eyes shot out killing intent. With a pat on the halberd's shaft, the Primordial Honor slashed it downward towards Bu Rechen in front of him.
Bu Rechen's expression did not change, instantly turning into thousands of specks of dust, making the Primordial Honor's halberd strike miss. Unfazed, he swung the halberd in a semicircle towards Jue Luan behind him, all in one fluid motion. However, the Primordial Honor's pupils contracted in the next instant, for Jue Luan also turned into countless specks of dust.
How was this possible? The Primordial Honor knew that Bu Rechen's true form was Nine Heavens Pure Dust. But why could Jue Luan also turn into dust? The Primordial Honor didn't believe Jue Luan could also transform into Nine Heavens Pure Dust, but he still cautiously moved out of the dust's range. Just as he moved away, his body hadn't steadied when he saw someone appear in front of him. This person, Star Sinker, was a guardian of the Netherworld World. Although the Primordial Honor didn't know much about Star Sinker, he had heard that Star Sinker's power was at the intermediate grade of Heavenly Venerate.
The Primordial Honor didn't put much stock in intermediate grade Heavenly Venerates. His attention was already drawn somewhere else. But Star Sinker dashed directly at him. Although Star Sinker's strongest ability required entering Tyrant Mode, he now charged at the Primordial Honor with just his physical body. The Primordial Honor, though disregarding Star Sinker, still thrust the Myriad Blood Halberd while turning his focus. But then he felt a pair of hands on his back.
Glancing back, the Primordial Honor saw Star Sinker had somehow attached to his back, and then Star Sinker vanished before his eyes. Suddenly, the Primordial Honor felt a power from the hands on his back. It wasn't an attack, rather it was the power of the Netherworld Reincarnation Art. Momentarily puzzled, the Primordial Honor wondered if Star Sinker had gone mad. Why would she be channeling her spiritual power to him?
As the power of the Netherworld Reincarnation Art infused into the Primordial Honor, he felt something amiss. Changes began within his body, and he instantly understood the significance of Star Sinker's actions. Infuriated, the Primordial Honor struck twice, landing blows on Star Sinker's forehead and back. Star Sinker vomited blood and was sent flying. Following that, the Primordial Honor's movements froze. At that moment, Xiao He, the Domain Lord of the Genesis Divine Nation, arrived at the Primordial Honor's side, placing his hands on his back too.
The Seal Heavenly Stamp was fully activated, and divine sense surged. Xiao He's Seal Heavenly Stamp had reached its highest realm, allowing him to seal the Primordial Honor once more. Of course, successfully sealing the Primordial Honor was largely due to Star Sinker. Star Sinker had poured all her Netherworld Power of Creation into the Primordial Honor to draw out the Primordial Honor's own Netherworld Power of Creation. The clash of opposing forces, yin and yang, made the Primordial Honor lose control over his body momentarily. This was the power of reincarnation and creation.
The Primordial Honor's body originally belonged to the Demon Spirit Butcher. Though the Demon Spirit Butcher was part of the Primordial Honor, once the Demon Spirit Butcher consciousness was born, it was separate. Despite the Primordial Honor using his powerful soul to occupy the body, he remained merely a guest without completely erasing the Demon Spirit Butcher's divine sense. Star Sinker's Netherworld power stimulated the Demon Spirit Butcher's soul, while her power of creation stimulated the Demon Spirit Butcher's body. The clash with the Primordial Honor's own power led to the Demon Spirit Butcher's consciousness awakening.
With the Demon Spirit Butcher awakening, the Primordial Honor's consciousness lost control of the body. Seizing the opportunity, Xiao He used the Seal Heavenly Stamp to successfully seal the Primordial Honor.
Then, a sound of something breaking through the air was heard, and the Primordial Honor leaned backward. The next moment, he broke free from all restraints and seals. But before he could strike at Xiao He behind him, the seals he had just broken reappeared, and his head jerked backward.
But the Primordial Honor broke free again quickly, this time without any sealing power present. He turned and grabbed Xiao He's head between his hands, then delivered a knee strike. Xiao He's head recoiled with the impact, the shockwave spreading, and Xiao He fell to the ground like a corpse. The Primordial Honor then plucked at the air in front of his neck and tore away as if removing something.
"Time worm, huh. So you still had more. But this should be the last one, and soon, you'll be extinct!" (To be continued.
