"Vincent Carey, you are good," Wilfred Cox said with hatred. This time he didn't even bother to hide his hostility.

Susan Park and Jason Nicholson turned towards the newcomer as well. The newcomer had surprised them once again.

Jason Nicholson felt bad. He was the one who was supposed to take the limelight. Instead, he was overshadowed by newcomer.

Susan Park sighed in her heart. She had wanted to watch the fun. Instead, her actions had become fun for someone else.

She lost the will to stay here. She chose to get back at Vincent Carey some other day.

Swoosh!

She left the place without uttering a word to Wilfred Cox.

Meanwhile,

I sighed in relief after seeing one of the troublesome figures leave. If she had decided to cast the magic spell, it could have become difficult to handle her.

I'm still unaware of her magical powers. If it's airborne, then even I don't have answers for that.

Wilfred Cox was unaffected by Susan Park's sudden departure. He was glad that she had left.

"Don't think you are safe because of Manager Lara and Forbidden Wizard Charlotte. We have our backer as well," Wilfred Cox said while standing with his arms crossed.

He had dropped his mask. There was no need to act friendly anymore.

Hearing that, I smiled and said, "Since there is no more party, I'm leaving then." After saying that, I turned around to leave.

Wilfred Cox stayed silent and said no more. His friends stood near him. They began to develop a fear towards the new wizard seed.

No one had acted this way or talked back to Susan Park and Wilfred Cox. Even the other wizard seeds of the Silver Tower weren't like this.

If they didn't like someone, they simply ignored them. But Vincent Carey had come to the party upon invitation. He seemed genuine, but they didn't know why Wilfred Cox was harboring hatred.

"Vincent Carey!"

"Stop!"

"What about our duel?" Jason Nicholson asked.

He really couldn't stand being clueless. He had to say something. Otherwise, he would look like a clown.

Wilfred Cox saw through his thoughts. His smile widened. There was a reason why he had invited Jason Nicholson. Jason Nicholson was exactly doing what he wanted.

I was about to leave. But Jason Nicholson's words stopped me.

"I'm not going to waste my time," After saying that, I looked at him before leaving.

"Damn it," Jason Nicholson uttered.

His anger was about to explode.

"Don't damage the place," Wilfred's voice reached his ears.

Hearing that, Jason became like a deflated balloon. But he couldn't offend him, so his face turned red.

Wilfred Cox's friends were left.

"Wilfred, what's going on?"

"He doesn't seem to be bad," one of his friends said.

Hearing that, Wilfred knew that the same doubts were lingering in everyone's mind.

"It's important. There is a strength gap between wizard seeds. So I don't bother with other guys. But it's different with a newcomer without a background."

"I can suppress him. Otherwise, our reputation will be damaged," he said in a cold tone.

To be honest, his illusion world magic was strong. So he didn't want to be at the bottom of the hierarchy. Currently, Jason Nicholson was at the bottom of the ranks.

He and Susan Park were slightly higher in ranks. So far, the wizard seeds had an understanding between them. But the sudden appearance of the new wizard had disrupted everything.

So all of this test was necessary to assess the strength of the new wizard seed. If not for the magic artifact, he could have verified Vincent Carey's strength accurately.

Now they could only tell that Vincent Carey was stronger than Jason Nicholson.

"I hate it," he uttered before turning towards Jason Nicholson.

"I don't know what you will do. Do you want to be stepped upon by a newcomer without a background? If you stay like this, then the newcomer will permanently register his ranks," Wilfred Cox said.

Hearing that, Jason Nicholson was getting angrier. He could understand the meaning behind his words. But he disliked his provocative tone.

"I can take care of him my own way." After saying that, Jason Nicholson left the place. He didn't want to stay here; otherwise, he would be forced to attack Wilfred Cox.

If that happened, then his family would receive the wrath of the Cox family.

Meanwhile,

I left the Rosewood Café and was on my way to the Silver Tower in a cab. But I noticed that another cab was following me. I was sure it was not Jason Nicholson. I doubted they would think of such a cheap method.

Soon, the cab reached the destination and dropped me at the stop. After paying the fare, I was about to leave when I saw another cab arrive at the stop.

I stood there and decided to see who was following me.

The cab touched the ground. The next second, a person clothed in black stepped out of the car. My eyes flashed with a gleam.

I didn't expect him to do this. The person was none other than Tom Doyle.

"Seems like he has been keeping tabs on me," I said in my heart.

Then I immediately thought of Wilfred Cox as well. There was a possibility of him leaking the news too. Since Wilfred Cox had dropped the pretense, he wasn't going to think of him as great anymore.

Tom Doyle paid the fare before turning towards the new wizard of the Silver Tower. He didn't care about his exposure. Instead, he took bold steps and started walking towards Vincent Carey.

He had gone to the Rosewood Café to check on Wilfred Cox earlier. But he didn't expect to see heavyweights there. At least he saw four wizard seeds entering the café, including Vincent Carey.

His eyes flashed with murderous intent thinking about his defeat at the hands of Vincent Carey that day. He knew this was not the place to act, but he could speak to him.

In a few steps, he stood a few meters before Vincent Carey.

"I have been waiting to meet you. Last time I got sneak attacked and you were able to steal the limelight. But next time it won't happen," Tom Doyle said in a cold tone.
