Ethan had only told her he had prepared a surprise for her and hadn't told her about it.

Also, he intentionally ordered her not to peek from the shadow but to cultivate or sleep.

Hence, when she saw a familiar face that had some of her facial features, Sera could not help but be shocked as tears unconsciously flowed out of her eyes.

But, she wiped them in a hurry as her usually cold expression softened and called him, "Zepharis?"

Just like Seraphis, Zepharis, who was standing under the moonlit sky , was also stiff for a moment before his crimson eyes widened at the sight of his Elder Sister.

The two Night Demons stared at each other in silence, as if confirming that neither of them was a puppet anymore.

"Sister… it's really you."

Soon, Zepharis started crying as he fell to his knees, "It's all my fault. If only I didn't go out that night, our family would not have gone through….."

"Zepha….it's not your fault. Even without you, they would have still turned us into Puppets."

However, before he could finish his words, Sera interrupted him and spoke the truth.

Zepharis stopped crying; however, he was still blaming himself for the disaster their family had to go through because of him.

He took a step forward and said in a slightly trembling voice, "I thought I lost you forever."

"And I thought I would never see my foolish little brother again."

Seraphis let out a rare chuckle, her eyes carrying warmth that hadn't been there in years.

"Still calling me little, huh?"

Zepharis smirked as he stood in front of Seraphis, who was a head shorter than him.

"This behaviour of yours makes you my little brother."

Seraphis raised her hand and placed it on his head.

For a moment, they simply stood there, basking in the unfamiliar feeling of being reunited—not as puppets, but as free beings.

"Master, we shall serve you with our lives."

Suddenly, they together turned toward Ethan and knelt on one knee and once again pledged their loyalty to Ethan.

"Master, we shall serve you with our lives."

"Enough with that. Just become powerful as we have to save the other Night Demons in the world."

Ethan waved his hand as he reminded both the Night Demons about their goal.

"Yes, Master."

The siblings exchanged a glance before standing up with unwavering loyalty.

At the same time, they became excited about the future where they would be saving more Night Demons.

"You two keep watch. I'll be cultivating through the night."

Soon, Ethan stretched his body and gave them the order.

At night, the Azure Serpent Realm became deadly; however, Ethan believed that the Azure Profound Garden was the safest place to rest, thanks to the presence of the Azure Serpent Fiend King.

However, he believed that there was no harm in being careful. So, he ordered the two Night Demon Siblings to stay on guard.

"Rest assured, Master. We will take care of any Spirit Beast that dares to disturb you."

The two Night Demons assured Ethan.

With that, Ethan closed his eyes and resumed his cultivation, while Seraphis and Zepharis took their positions, standing guard in the Azure Profound Garden.

After 30 minutes, Ethan reached Level 5 Foundation Establishment Realm.

Ethan didn't stop cultivating as each breakthrough made him excited.

As his cultivation realm increased, the time taken to break through to the next realm also increased.

During the entire time, the two Night Demons didn't have to kill a single Spirit Beast because , as Ethan expected, no Spirit Beast dared to enter the territory of the Azure Serpent Fiend King.
