GODDESS OF THE EMPIRE

"Grandpa Skyrio, are you feeling that terrifying energy? "Ainsley inquired in terror.

"You can feel it too? "asked Skyrio,

Ainsley nodded.

"I just... I'm sensing a really strong and strange vibe right now... but it's really strong."

Glacier also felt how the whole atmosphere seemed to be tense and heavy. 'Who could it be?" he thought.

Skyrio looked around the courtyard trying to find where the strong energy was coming from. He looked at Dave and Iris, but they too were trying to figure it out.

Finally, they all suddenly turned their eyes towards the back door of the mansion.

The next thing they saw were two piercing golden eyes exerting an intimidating, cold stare, stepping out the door.

As they saw the incoming person, they shuddered.

At the sight of the intruder, Glacier and the rest were secretly shocked, they saw a majestically beautiful young girl walking into the courtyard and heading towards where Maisie was standing.

Everyone was so shocked that they couldn't even utter a word.

"A-aella, you're back," Maisie greeted her nervously.

"Mmm."

"Why are you back so early-....ahemm, why are you back late young lady?" Maisie scolded

"I had some business to take care of" Aella replied coldly, she looked over to the table next to Maisie and saw some sweets and cakes, she sat down and took a sweet to eat.

"I see" Maisie replied lazily as she sat down next to Aella.

To Glacier it seemed as if time had stopped, he was frozen in his place, staring at the stunning girl or more accurately looking at his daughter talking to Maisie as if everyone else didn't exist.

Skyrio, Dave, Shoen, Iris and Ivy were as shocked and bewildered as him. "She looks exactly like Glacier and her mother Violet.... but more like Glacier, and a little bit like me" Skyrio said.

Hyacinth, Ainsley and Aspen were equally commotioned as well. Especially Aspen, who has been badmouthing Aella nonstop.

'She's Aella? She's different from what I imagined?' he thought dumbfounded.

Everyone stood in a state of awe, it felt as if they were staring at a female Glacier.

In the middle of the intense silence, a cold and somewhat deep voice was heard speaking, startling everyone, they looked in Aella's direction still astonished.

"Maisie" called Aella with a confused expression 'Why are you shaking?' asked Aella.

'Why do you think, you are to blame' Maisie wanted to say but shut her mouth.

Aella sensed Maisie's nervousness "Did anyone do something to you?" Aella questioned looking at those present. 

Who trembled under Aella's pressuring gaze.

"Hm? No, no, I'm fine, don't worry, they didn't do anything to me" Maisie quickly calmed Aella down,

Currently, Glacier was feeling very jealous of Maisie. He too wished that Aella would be as overprotective of him and talk freely with him as she is doing with Maisie. But he needed to be patient

For the first time in his life, Glacier felt useless.

At that very moment Aella looked over to where Glacier was, and their gazes met.

Surprised by his daughter's sudden stare, Glacier felt delighted that she was finally looking at him, but deep down he was extremely nervous and didn't know what to do, even though it didn't show on his face. 

Aella stared at the man whose face was pretty much the same as hers, then looked at Maisie who was becoming much more flustered at Aella's steady gaze.

"Haa!" Aella sighed slightly.

She wasn't stupid; however she looked at him, this man looked exactly like her, also the Gramp next to him looked just like her and the Man.

"Didn't you previously say that you and your family weren't on good terms?" she asked casually.

She knew exactly what was going on. By the time she had returned to the mansion, she had sensed the presence of several people in the backyard.

Maisie nervously jumped before muttering "I'm sorry, Aella, but I assure you I only called Glacier and Juhen, the rest of them weren't my doing, they all came here uninvited on their own."

Aella stood up ready to leave "Well it's fine, it's none of my business anyway, you can do whatever you want after all this is your home and they are your family, so it's normal for them to come visit you."

Ever since she got here, Aella has been sensing the man named Glacier stare and for some reason he looked all depressed.

"Oh right, Maisie!" Aella remembered why she came looking for Maisie "As of tomorrow I'll be staying at Oasis."

"Oh yeah, I completely forgot that was the reason you came to Sion was to be transferred to that school" she said loudly drawing everyone's attention.

'Eh! That's your only reason coming in Sion, it wasn't to come looking for them?" everyone thought.

'Well, I'm going to sleep' Aella said calmly ready to leave, she didn't want to stay in this place for even a second longer.

Maisie felt distressed, she looked at her brother, who looked all desperate looking as if he is about to be abandoned.

This was the first time she was seeing that side of Glacier.

Wooshh!

Aspen suddenly stood in front of Aella blocking her way, he released all his aura and pointed his finger at Aella.

"I disagree to have her in our family, who does she think she is?" although he wasn't particularly close to Trinity, he rather accepts Trinity than having a stranger in the house.

"We already have Trinity, even if we are not of the same blood, we all grew up with her, she is the only one we will accept, you can go find yourself another family elsewhere" Aspen hardened his gaze. He looked at her with arrogance, anger and superiority.

Aella looked at the finger pointing at her, suddenly, the atmosphere became uncomfortable.

"ASPEN, shut up" Maisie snarled angrily scaring everyone.

Aspen opened her eyes wide in surprise "Yo...you yelled at me because that bastard" shouted Aspen angrily.

"You want me to personally go and change your last name?" Glacier's cold and stern voice echoed throughout the place.

Aspen's eyes darkened, he was extremely shocked.

"Uncle you...."

WHOOSH WHOOSH!

Glacier's aura was heavy and bloodthirsty. He looked at Aspen blankly and coldly said "Don't call me uncle, I don't have a nephew like you!"

Everyone looked at Glacier with their mouths open as they noticed his aura, this is an aura of an SS ranker!

He leveled up just like that! And he did it without even realizing it!

Aspen glared at Aella. "It's all your fault, so what if you're Uncle Glacier's daughter, you're just a bastard who's after our money!" he shouted angrily pointing his finger at Aella.

When his eyes met Aella's, his body stiffened and his pupils constricted, Aella's fierce and bloodthirsty gaze made his whole-body freeze.

"Who is this little puppy" Aella stood facing of him

"Do you know what happens to those who point fingers at me?" Aella's voice landed like thunder throughout the place.

Glacier, Skyrio and the rest were shocked. ' Aella's didn't release her aura but everyone could tell and feel how strong she is based only on her intimidation. 

'She is much stronger than all of us'

'This kid never learn' Maisie was about to intervene again but suddenly stopped herself 'I'm not going to meddle in this, I tried to save him, but he keeps spouting bullshit'

She stepped back, glared at Aspen 'Stop provoking Aella' she warned him for the last time.

Aspen felt offended and humiliated, she gave Maisie a stern look "Aunty, why are you such a fool? Look how she is causing arguments between us, she will bring us bad luck if we accept her into our family"

Glacier gave Aspen a dangerous look, then looked at Aella.

Suddenly,

The ground began to shake.

An intense and strong oppression descended on everyone present. They felt weak and overpowered. Then they heard the shrill, fierce, terrifying sound of the air.

"I do not have time for insect" Aella terrifying voice sounded

Aspen opened his eyes wide, at this moment he seemed to be enveloped in a strong black energy, he tried to move back but found that his body could not move due to Aella's strong intimidation.

Just as Aella raised her hand ready to attack, Maisie quickly intervened. "Calm down, Aella" she stepped between Aella and Aspen. 

Still with her arm in the air, Aella eyes looked down and noticed Maisie's desperate look.

"Do you want to destroy the mansion?" beneath Aella's "I will have nowhere to live if you destroy that mansion, are you planning on letting me live in the street or what?"

"I have many villas and mansions; you are welcome to live in one of them" Aella replied calmly trying to attack.

"Noo! I prefer this mansion so don't destroy it!"

Irritated Aella told her "At least let me land just a little punch."

"Your little punch could kill him and destroy everything instantly."

"Tsk!" Aella was not satisfied with this outcome. 

The rumbling, the intense blowing wind and the strong intimidation aura stopped abruptly.

Aspen felt how the strength in his legs weakened and he fell to the ground.

Aella lowered her eyes staring at him without moving her head and icily said, "You are very lucky."

Aspen's heart sank. His back was instantly drenched in sweat 'If Aunt Maisie wasn't here...I would already be.....' he didn't want to think about what might have happened.

The whole place fell into stony silence.

Glacier and Skyrio looked at Aella in astonishment. 'Wh-what'

Everyone looked at the girl in shock.

'What is that, 'she's worse than Glacier. She's a demon.
