Chapter 286: Target Acquired
[A/N: I feel like no one will be interested in the war of Morose and Kazak against Baroma Kingdom as it's kinda anti climatic so I'll be skipping most of it. The outcome will be given though.]
Keith spent a week with his family. Roaming around the busy towns and playing with Miya during the day and spending some much needed time with his future wives in the night.
Once he was out of time, he got a notification and sighed. He got up from the bed and watched as Clara and Amelia woke up from their sleep too.
"Again?" Clara asked and Keith nodded.
"Yeah. He's still out there and unless he's dead, the threat still remains. Which means, I can't just sit here and wait for him to recover. Gotta strike when the iron is hot, right?"
Hearing this the two girls nodded, looking sad but with a look of understanding on their faces.
"Stay safe." Clara said, giving him a forced smile while Amelia just jumped off the bed and smacked his back, "If you don't come back, I'm going to come and find you myself. Even if I must take a small boat made of rotten wood!"
Keith nodded, "I'll… send letters daily." he said and turned to look at Clara, "Just check your storage space and you should be able to find one. If I don't send any, then that means that someth-"
"Nothing is going to happen." Clara said, cutting him off midway as she glared at him, "You're going to come back safe. And I know it."
Keith simply nodded, knowing very well that his chances of completing his mission were low. He gave them both a kiss, and left.
He teleported right in front of Gerald and sent the trio back to his spatial dimension before he continued the journey. This time, the journey was long but it wasn't as stressful as before since he was used to getting attacked by creatures by now.
The strategy was simple, keep going if the ship can handle the attacks. But if it can't, then simply hide in the spatial dimension until the sea monsters left. If even this didn't work and the creatures roamed around in the same area, then he had a final plan that worked almost all the time.
To ask for Juliet's help. The creatures made of flesh could take on the appearance of the monsters in the sea and Keith simply placed a system seed into these flesh monsters. Once they were out of the dangerous area, he would just teleport to them and continue the journey on his ship.
[I can sense him. He's close.]
Keith saw this in front of him and nodded, "Yeah, you don't have to tell me. I can see." he said softly as he watched hundreds of thousands of creatures walking all over the land.
[Are you going to do it alone?]
"No. There's no need to do stuff alone. Not when I got people that I can use." he said before muttering softly while scratching his overgrown beard, "Also… how long has it been since I've been travelling? An year?"
[Eight Months to be exact.]
"System, show me my stats. Just the basic stuff, no need for info about my skills." he said as he nodded, at Emma's message.
[User Stats]

Genetic Physique Type: Endurance
Mental Energy: 25,408
Awakening Status: Awakened
'Now it's time to check if I've got everything set up right.' he thought, snapping his fingers as he gave out a mental command, 'Show me the new skills, the ones I acquired in the past eight months.'
A large screen popped up in front of him and he smiled, 'Without the information you gave me, I probably wouldn't have been able to be this efficient.'
[You're welcome, but focus.]
Seeing this, he sighed and nodded, 'Limiting the gacha wheel to just the white systems saves so much divine energy and it's the best thing I can do since I had to use a lot of it for the sake of spreading my system amongst the people in the continent.'
He then focused on the screen in front of him.
[Recently Acquired Skills.]
Berserk Warrior: The longer you fight, the stronger, faster and sturdier you get. Stamina and body regeneration rate increases at a similar ratio.
Divine Transmutation: Ability to transmute any matter as long as it is inorganic. Multiple factors determine the amount of mental energy used. Using Divine Energy will allow the user to transmute anything without restrictions as long as the target isn't a living being.
Angel's View: Enables the user to see 1 kilometer around them in all directions. The range can be extended with the use of mana. 1 km = 1 mana per second.
Ruler of Storms: Ability to create, summon and manipulate storms.
Psychokinetic Corrosion: Create corrosive ethereal objects and have complete control over them. Greatly increases resistance to mental strain, and information absorption capabilities.
Thanks to the system seeds that had spread far and wide, Keith had access to the information of a lot of people. It was thanks to this, that he had found two great skills that could help him a lot in his mission.
Other than Angel's View and Divine Transmutation, which he had gotten from random people, the other three were from the ones he already knew.
Psychokinetic Corrosion came from Gerald who underwent a second awakening. Ruler of Storms came from Caleb who also went through a second awakening and the skill Berserk Warrior came from Barou.
Keith had no plans to help Barou with a second awakening, at least not yet.
'If things get serious, I can always make a strategic retreat. I can't give him freebies when he's not on my side.' he thought to himself as he shook his head and then took a deep breath.
Raising his hand, he looked up at the sky. Clouds began to converge, slowly covering the entire island. The clouds that were white at the start began to turn grey and then turned extremely dark.
There were short flashes once in a while but no lightning.
Keith stared at the clouds and then looked down at the large group of creatures before shifting his attention to the weird looking tower.
"Target acquired."
