God Of Shadows

The two warships were converging on my location quickly, and I had never been more glad that I had created a mask that allowed for space travel. It worked like Star-Lord's mask but was enchanted with similar enchantments as my ship at least when it comes to autonomy and durability.

I decided to use Ruler's Authority to allow for essentially Telekinetic Flight. I flew out from my ship into the dark of space and waited as the ships drew closer.

As I finally came within firing distance, I had many missiles heading my way.

Pulling upon my Ruler's Authority ability, I was able to disrupt their flight path enough to cause the missiles to veer off and crash I to the other missiles causing a chain reaction that destroyed all the missiles heading towards me.

Unfortunately, I was not yet strong enough to fully take control over the missiles themselves. If they were standing still, I could lift them easily, but to fully control them while they were being boosted by their thrusters was nigh impossible for the current me. But, being able to disrupt them was enough.

I saw that this would be more difficult than I thought, so I decided to end the battle before anything could go wrong.

I summoned my Scythe from my ship and watched it as it enlarged as it made its way towards me. By the time it was floating in front of me, the Scythe had enlarged to be 1000 meters, which was a little over half a mile in length. Then, as I was preparing to cut the ship in two, I realized that size alone might not cut all the way through the battleship.

Taking a moment to think, I made my decision.

"Brisingr" I said quickly.

After my words, the entirety of my scythe began to be covered in black flames, although more concentrated on the blade.

'Let's see how this works.' I pondered as I waited for the ship to be close enough.

(Kree Accuser's POV)

"What the hell is that?" One of the crew members questioned their commander as he saw a Scythe constantly expanding until it became nearly as long as their ship as they were not in Ronan's ship, which was 3 miles long.

Just as the commander was going to respond, he saw the giant weapon begin to be covered in black flames.

"FIRE, FIRE EVERYTHING!!!!" The commander shouted with a hint of fear in his voice.

The ship and the second one that had also received the command began to fire everything they had at my and my enlarged weapon, which was actually very difficult to control at the moment.

Knowing that the way the enchantment on my weapon worked was by enlarging in proportion to the amount of magic/energy put into it, I had channeled all the magical energy I could and then channeled the power of Ruler's Authority as it didn't require any mana to be used.

This had my body aching in pain at the strain of having to channel such vast amounts of energy and having to still use my Ruler's Authority to keep my body floating as well as control my weapon. If one were to see me, they'd see the clear strain on my body as well as my face becoming pale at the energy drain to activate the enchantment.

'Urgh, I have to end this quickly before I pass out.' I thought to myself.

Just as I thought that, I saw the two ships beginning their assault and I saw hundreds of missiles heading my way.

I knew I couldn't possibly control them like I did before as I was already under too much pressure. So, I started to use Ruler's Authority to spin my scythe until it simply looked like a giant ring of black fire in space.

I then controlled my scythe to move as it sliced through all the oncoming missiles until their was nothing left. And my scythe had come back and was floating straight in front of me.

"My turn." I said

The people aboard the two ships saw me looking at them and wanted to retreat through a jump point, but it was too late.

I flew closer to the first ship and then had the scythe slash vertically right through the center. The two halves of the ship then began to fall as I repeated the same to the second ship.

Once, both ships were finally destroyed enough to not be a threat. I deactivated my enchantment and stopped channeling the massive amount of energy.

"*Pant* pant* *pant* That was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be." I said aloud breathlessly.

I then used my now normal sized scythe to go through the remnants of the ship and killed any remaining enemies. After I was sure all the enemies were dead, I dragged them all towards my ship along with the broken pieces of the two ships. Once all the corpses were on my ship, which actually only totaled up to around 150, as these ships weren't prepared for an invasion of Torfa, merely to serve as a distraction for the mission.

I looked at the fallen enemies and was now completely sure that neither ship was Ronan's. I already assumed they weren't as the Dark Aster is a very large ship, and these ships were only half the length, only around a mile and a half long to the Dark Aster's 3 miles.

Putting that thought out of my mind, I turned to the corpses and grinned.

"Arise." I said as the shadows began to be created from the soldiers.

The new members of my army looked similar to basic infantry in knight armor, but they carried no swords or shields, but were instead equipped with a myriad of advanced weapons, blasters, energy whips, pulse grenades, the whole nine yards. If they were infantry, they were definitely advanced infantry.

The commander of the specific group was larger than the other shadow soldiers and carried a large greatsword that had both sides of his sword covered in a laser light as it was an energy sword.

"Hmm, interesting. I will call you Artorias." I said as the knight in question knelt down while placing his greatsword on the floor in front of him as he held the handle.

"Raise your head." I said as I watched as he and my other soldiers were all standing neatly in a formation without me having to tell them.

I nodded to myself happy with their demeanor.

"Join your brothers." I said as I sent them into my shadow.

I have now an 800 strong army. It is certainly a large army, but not nearly enough for the likes of Thanos at least, not yet.
