Glory To Slytherin

Chapter 41

Chapter 41

Professor Snape looked angry when he failed to achieve his goal, and so did Filch.

“My cat is petrified! I want to see someone punished!”

“We can cure it, Argus.”

Dumbledore said patiently, “Professor Sprout recently got some mandela grasses. Once they grow up, I think there will be a medicine that can bring Mrs. Lorice back to life.”

“I’ll make it.” Lockhart interrupted. “I must have made it a hundred times. I can make the mandela resurrection potion while dreaming—”

“Then please remember one thing when you are dreaming, I am the potions professor of this school.”

Professor Snape said coldly.

‘Go outside and buy some and you can’t get it back. Why do you have to wait for the mandela grass to grow up in the school? ’

Ulysses slandered secretly, but heard Dumbledore name himself again.

“Mr. Lestrange, just now you said you met Mr. Potter and the others before the incident. Can I listen to the details?”

Dumbledore held his half-moon glasses and stared at Ulysses quietly.

There was silence in the office.

Ulysses’s heart tightened and said quietly:

“I thought it was a bit noisy in the auditorium. I wandered around in the castle after dinner. I happened to ran into Shafik Miss who fell to the ground with the poison of the eight-eyed giant spider. I took her to ask Professor Snape for help, and I ran into it on the way. The three of them are called Potter.”

Dumbledore nodded slightly and said to Harry, Ron, and Hermione:

“You can go now.”

The three of them were relieved and tried their best to speed up, almost running out of the office.

Dumbledore glanced at Professor Snape, and after getting the latter’s affirmative reply, he turned to Tracy and said calmly:

“Miss Shafik, do you remember how it was poisoned? The poison of the eight-eyed giant spider is not something that should be in the castle.”

Tracey repeated what was said in Professor Snape’s office.

“Sure it’s pumpkin juice? There is nothing else to eat in the auditorium?”

Professor Snape asked aloud.

Tracy shook her head: “I have no appetite tonight.”

Dumbledore was silent, and after a while pondering, he said to Professor McGonagall who was watching:

“Minerva, please go and ask the house elf responsible for pumpkin juice tonight.”

Professor McGonagall nodded and left the office.

“Mr. Lestrange saved his classmate’s life in time, Slytherin plus fifty points. Go back early to rest. If you still feel unwell, remember to go to Mrs. Pomfrey or your dean.”

Dumbledore said softly at last.

Ulysses marveled at the headmaster still thinking about giving him extra points at this time, and walked out of Professor Lockhart’s office with Tracy.

“Do you really know who the poisoner is?”

The two walked back to the common room, Ulysses asked casually.

“you do not believe?”

Tracey squinted her eyes, “When I find him, I must let him know the anger of the Shafik family.”

Ulysses shrugged, noncommittal, and changed the question:

“How is your mutual aid association developing?”

“Getting bigger and bigger.” Tracy smiled, her face suddenly a little ugly, “It’s just that there was a guy named Traverse in the fourth grade who finally contacted him, but he refused without giving him a face.”

When Ulysses heard the name of the strange roommate, he raised his eyebrows and did not answer any more.

All the way to the entrance of the lounge in silence, I heard someone shouting inside before entering:

“Potter and his two friends are so bold! They killed Filch’s cat and left imaginary words on the wall! It’s a pity that Filch caught him!”

After walking into the lounge, Ulysses saw a lower grade student gesticulating with gestures, talking loudly and trying to make people feel that no one understood the incident better than him.

“Don’t look at their innocent expressions, maybe they just want to escape punishment through this disguise!”

Some students’ faces showed an expression of approval.

“Premier, do you know what a secret room is?”

A third-year student looked at Gemma Farley sitting in a soft chair and asked aloud.

Chief Farley glanced at the talkative student, and after a long time he replied:

“There is indeed a secret room in Hogwarts’ records. It is the secret room left by Salazar Slytherin, the founder of Slytherin College. We all know that wizards were persecuted by Muggles more than a thousand years ago. The Muggles were afraid of the power of wizards. They hunted wizards in droves and used various cruel methods to kill them. So four great wizards established the great Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, teaching knowledge to magic. Gifted children, let them have the power to fight against fate and persecution.”

“In the first few years, the four founders worked together in harmony, looking for young people who showed signs of magic, and brought them back to the castle to train them. But slowly, they diverged. Between Slytherin and the others Slytherin hopes that Hogwarts will be more critical when recruiting students—he believes that magic education should be limited to pure wizarding families.”

“In the end Slytherin had a fierce conflict with the other three and left the school. Some people said that Slytherin took the initiative to leave, and some said that Gryffindor and the other two forced him away.”

“It is rumored that Slytherin built a secret room before he left. He left some things in the secret room and waited for the arrival of his true heir. As long as the heir opened the secret room, the contents inside would purify the school and clear everything he thought was not. People who are qualified to learn magic.”

It took a long time for Prefect Farley to finish this paragraph, and no one interrupted her. Finally, she added:

“These are what I saw in the Slytherin collection, it’s best not to spread them out.”

“So, is the heir of Slytherin who came to the school?”

Pansy next to Draco looked a little excited, “Will it be in our academy? Since it’s the heir, he definitely won’t be in another academy.”

Draco snorted, with envy, jealousy and hatred in his eyes: “Apart from us, who else is worthy of being Slytherin’s heir! He must have gathered all his luck before Slytherin will be selected…”

For a while, the students were all excitedly guessing who the heir would be.

“The prefect has said that the condition for the opening of the secret room is the arrival of the heir. In other words, the heir is a freshman in the first grade…”

Millie Bossd touched her chin and analyzed something in a serious manner. Then she froze for a moment, and slowly turned her head to the entrance of the lounge, “But, there is a new face this year…”

The first-year freshman who was very excited wondered whether the chosen son would be him. After hearing her words, his enthusiasm cooled down halfway and he turned his attention to the same place.

After entering the door, he casually found a seat to sit down. At this time, Ulysses, who was watching them use their little brains with great interest, suddenly realized that he had become a target again, and asked with a smile:

“You don’t think it’s me, do you?”
