Global Lords: Hundredfold Increments Starting With the Undead

Chapter 826, Attack on the Blasphemer

The appearance of the system notification signified that Silver Wing City had become a subsidiary city to Fang Hao.

It also indicated that the entirety of the Hundred Cities Federation was now incorporated into his territory.

To the south of the main city, the territory would be completely whole, no longer missing a chunk in the middle.

The process had taken some time, but the result was gratifying.

It was also the only territory not obtained through warfare.

[Silver Wing City]

[City Level: Fifteen, Indigenous City]

[Attributes: Gathering/Processing +30%, Human Reproduction +30%, City Prosperity +50%, Food Cultivation +25%, Commerce +30%, Military +30%, Research and Development +15%.]

(Description: A city with attributes, capable of bringing various different benefits, accelerating the city's construction and development.)

Silver Wing City is the main city of the entire Hundred Cities Federation.

Having reached Level Fifteen, it had gained numerous attributes.

It could be said to be a rather impressive city.

Fang Hao hadn't even finished studying the attributes when another system notification appeared.

[Unlocked Blueprints: Hall of Glory, Grand Cathedral of Light, Free Enlistment Office, Justice Tower, Alchemy Ivory Tower, Mage's Freedom Association, Firearms Factory.]

There were numerous building unlocks.

[Hall of Glory] was a building of the Hall of Justice, capable of recruiting the human tenth-tier warrior, commonly seen as the guards at the Hall of Justice.

Fang Hao had seen these guards before, clad in the formidable armor of the Hall of Justice.

They were, indeed, elites.

But he had not anticipated that these guards were actually a tenth-tier unit, which explained why the Hall of Justice could maintain its absolute authority over the human faction.

[Grand Cathedral of Light] a building of the Church of Light and also one of the most spectacular structures in the city.

[Effects: Light Magic +15%, Faith +20%, 'Advocacy of Light'.]

[Advocacy of Light]: Priests/Auxiliary Priests +20%, Parishioners +15%, Faith +10%.

The Grand Cathedral was not a military building.

It was more like a specialized building for the Church of Light.

It was more akin to their 'City of Holy Spirit', mainly enhancing attributes related to faith.

Although Fang Hao felt it wasn't very useful for himself,

having it was certainly better than not.

He continued to the third blueprint.

[Free Enlistment Office] This blueprint wasn't for a barracks, yet it was a building that increased military strength.

[Effects: Can recruit local farmers, residents, mercenary etc., temporarily forming 'Knightly Militia'.]

It could be understood as a building for transforming troop types.

Turning the city's ordinary residents or mercenaries into militia.

The 'Knightly Militia' wasn't of low level either, having been rated Level Five, the same as Heavy Sword Infantry.

If one had to fight to capture this city, one could envision the scenario of immediate universal conscription.

Not to mention whether it would be difficult to capture,

even if taken, with total mobilization in place, it would end up a devastated, empty city.

[Justice Tower] was a building maintained by the Hall of Justice for the upkeep of order.

It could be understood as a 'Court Hall', often located in busy commercial streets and residential areas, with stationed guards responsible for safety.

[Alchemy Ivory Tower] was the city's alchemy tower.

[Effects: Alchemy Success Rate +12%, Alchemy Time -5%.]

It added two useful effects, increasing success rates and reducing alchemy time.

Moreover, having this blueprint also allowed for the establishment of Ivory Towers elsewhere to cultivate his own alchemists.

[Mage's Freedom Association] a building for Mages.

[Effects: Magic Comprehension +5%, Mage Missions +15.]

The Mages Association increased mage comprehension.

Mage Missions referred to the number of tasks assigned to magic users.

[Firearms Factory] a human place for constructing artillery.

The produced artillery, while not as good as that of Dwarves, still possessed significant lethality.

Its highest-grade could reach purple, while standard ones were generally of blue level.

Having reviewed all the blueprints, he could say they were quite satisfactory.

Of course, none of these blueprints significantly enhanced his strength.

Tap, tap, tap!

At that moment, having been busy all day, Rebecca, accompanied by the black-armored sisters, came back.

She generously approached, sat on his lap, and heaved a heavy sigh, "Ah, finally done with all the work, being the leader is really exhausting."

She stretched herself, revealing her voluptuous figure.

Fang Hao immediately embraced her to prevent her from toppling backward, and said, "Just took over, huh? It'll get better once things stabilize."

This wasn't a mere consolation.

The entire area was Fang Hao's territory, so there were no border issues to worry about.

Thus, as long as internal stability was maintained, it would not be as exhausting as Dordy's situation, dealing with problems from neighboring forces.

Rebecca's face showed a blissful smile, then she suddenly said, "I want to relocate the main city of the Hundred Cities Federation to Lyss City…."

Fang Hao was momentarily stunned, curiously asking, "Why move the city?"

Lyss City was Level Twelve, while Silver Wing City had already reached Level Fifteen.

The facilities in the city were comprehensive, and its commercial development was also much better than that of Lyss City.

Rebecca glanced back at their surroundings and then whispered, "If we stay here, even though I'm the leader, we're still under the control of the Hall of Justice, limited at every turn. It might be better to return to Silver Wing City, which is my place. Once we rebuild the council chamber and move the council there, that will be possible."

Fang Hao, listening to her explanation, felt that it made a lot of sense.

The Hall of Justice had been operating here for a long time. Rebecca was the leader, but everything here, including all levels of officials, still belonged to the Hall of Justice.

Change would be difficult, and it would take decades to achieve any results.

Relocating the city was different. Lyss City was originally Rebecca's, and it would be hard for the Hall of Justice to reach into it.

Moreover, simply moving the council there and rebuilding some structures could indeed make it the main city.

It was just a matter of a name.

"What about this place? Who do you plan to leave in charge?" Fang Hao continued.

This was his way of agreeing with Rebecca's idea of moving.

Rebecca thought for a moment and then said, "Let's leave it to Dordy for now. He's fairly just, though a bit rigid in his methods."

Fang Hao thought about it and said, "Okay, handing it over to Dordy will put the Hall of Justice at ease to some extent. We can make some adjustments later."

"Right, come on, I'll show you around the Hall of Justice; it's quite nice here," Rebecca said as she took his hand and walked toward the back.

...

Night had fallen in the blink of an eye.

Fang Hao, along with Rebecca and the four black-armored sisters, returned directly to the main city.

He opened the door to his room.

There was Rolana, lying on the bed, her nightgown draped in a way that outlined her slender, graceful figure, the hem revealing her straight calves wrapped in black stockings.

She looked up at him, like a meek wife, and asked, "You're back?"

"Yes," Fang Hao replied as he took off his coat and changed into his sleepwear.

Rolana gave him a once-over and laughed, "Staying here tonight? Not going to spend time with your little bunnies and foxes?"

"What little bunnies? Eira and the others even call you 'sister,' and here you are, always talking about little bunnies and foxes," Fang Hao said as he sat down on the bed, his hand resting on the smooth stockings and sliding under the hem of the skirt, "Rebecca went to the warehouse, she'll be over in a bit."

"Oh, that explains it!" Rolana said with a knowing look, grasping his mischievous hand and then letting go gradually.

The door creaked open again shortly after.

Rebecca came back, yawning.

Seeing the exposed, fair behind beneath the thin blanket, her cheeks instantly flushed, and she hurried forward to cover it up.

Rolana turned her head away from the man, pulling the blanket aside, "It's not like you haven't seen it before, what's there to be shy about?"

"That doesn't mean it should be like this!" Rebecca protested helplessly as she too began to change her clothes.

"How are things going?" Rolana asked.

"Fairly smooth, just a bit tiresome."

"Isn't this the life you wanted? No one to bind you... I can't see what's so great about it," Rolana continued.

Though the two were close, their personalities were quite different.

Rolana hardly cared about the city's affairs, not even giving Blood Castle a glance back when it was Crescent Heights.

Rebecca, on the other hand, greatly valued power and had fought with the council members for years.

"Fate differs, as do our desires," Rebecca replied as she changed into a light blue nightgown, her shapely legs covered in white stockings.

After hesitating, she opted not to remove the stockings but just changed into a night robe.

Sitting on the edge of the bed with one leg crossed, she said, "We have to thank our man for making our dreams come true."

Rolana pulled her up, hugging her tightly, lying down on the bed with a big grin, "If you're grateful, show some sincerity."

Holding her tightly, then giving Fang Hao a look that clearly conveyed what he should do.

Fang Hao also smiled.

Rebecca felt something was off, her face a mix of panic and confusion, struggling a bit, but unable to break free.

She closed her eyes, surrendering to the situation.

...

The next morning, Rebecca walked towards the Teleportation Array, her face flush with embarrassment and frustration, hands and feet bound.

Before entering, she turned back and glared fiercely at Fang Hao, then stepped into the light screen.

Fang Hao gave an awkward smile, "Seems I went a bit too far."

Whoosh!

Just then, a noise cut through the air.

Demon Monarch Yezabeth, wearing a powder blue gown, descended from the sky, glancing at the now-gone light screen.

She then bowed slightly, "My lord, I've recently gathered some intelligence concerning our domain."

Concerning our domain?

"Let's go inside and discuss it," Fang Hao said, turning to enter the hall, with the Succubus following.

Once seated, he continued, "What's the intelligence?"

The Demon Monarch organized her words and then said, "We've captured a common piece of information in the dreams of several guests; believers of the God of Deception from various races are gathering, preparing to launch an attack on the blasphemers."

Fang Hao's brow furrowed at once.

After a moment of thought, he grasped the underlying meaning.

Believers of the God of Deception might not necessarily be high-ranking figures.

But such a large-scale movement would definitely be noticed by various forces, who would then investigate.

Now, the Succubi had extracted this information through their means.

Moreover, the God of Deception's believers were widespread, more numerous among the more chaotic races.

Presumably, the total number of believers mobilizing would be significant!

"So, it seems we need to eliminate the God of Deception before the enemy makes their move."
