Global Evolution: I Super Double Up on my evolution

Chapter 110: You Might Not Believe It! I Was Tricked into Coming Here by an Unknown Creature!_1

WHOOSH.

A soft breeze swept by, bringing with it a touch of coolness.

Su Yan opened his eyes. What met his gaze was an old, cobweb-covered wall. Besides that, there were tables, chairs, cups, and other household items, all laden with dust, looking aged. Without a doubt, this was a modern house, long abandoned, exuding an ancient sense of times gone by.

"Is this... a dwelling of the Human race?"

Looking at everything before him, Su Yan felt quite shocked. He had obviously never expected that the world inside the mirror would also contain humans. He had originally thought that the world within the mirror would be a Primordial World where Giant Beasts were as common as dogs, and Monsters roamed everywhere. At a glance, he imagined it would be covered with Sky-reaching Forest Giants piercing the clouds, Prehistoric Giant Mountains stretching beyond sight, and Terrifying Giant Beasts blotting out the sun. But now, it seemed the world within the mirror was not some Primordial World, but rather a modern one with urban elements. This was truly incredible.

Thinking this, Su Yan turned to look behind him. He had entered this world through a mirror surface, so logically, there should be a mirror behind him as well.

Sure enough, when Su Yan turned around, what met his gaze was a tall floor-standing mirror, its length and width just perfect to reflect his entire body.

"What is this pattern?" Su Yan wondered, his brow furrowed as he looked at the mirror.

He noticed that the mirror's surface was covered with various strangely shaped patterns, interlocked with each other, seemingly forming a Formation. The colors of these patterns were very bright and also very fresh—it was clear that the paint had not completely dried yet. From this, one could tell these patterns had been drawn not long ago, likely no more than half an hour prior.

Meaning, within the last half-hour, there had been living beings in this room. So the question arose—who had drawn these patterns?

Su Yan was quite curious about this. Because clearly, the mysterious patterns on the mirror's surface were most likely the bridge connecting the two worlds. To be able to draw such delicate and systematic patterns, it was either the work of the Human race or of creatures that had taken human form. But strangely, each time the glass connected, what came out were Giant Alien Beasts, not humanoid creatures.

Where exactly was the problem? Su Yan was somewhat puzzled but didn't dwell on it.

He simply extended his hand to poke the floor-standing mirror in front of him, trying to see if he could pass through.

SQUISH. His finger went through.

This meant that the floor-standing mirror in front of him allowed two-way passage. He hadn't thought too much when he came, simply charging right through. It was a good thing he could return, or else it would have been a serious issue.

With this in mind, Su Yan picked up the mirror and hid it behind the curtains. This was to prevent the owner of the patterns from returning, destroying the mirror during his absence, and trapping him here.

After hiding the mirror, Su Yan looked out the window and saw that the floor he was on was, coincidentally, the second floor—just like his own home. The floor was not high, allowing him to simply climb out the window and jump down. After carefully observing for a while and confirming there was no danger outside, Su Yan promptly climbed out.

THUD.

Su Yan landed safely, stirring up a large cloud of dust from the ground. Brushing the dust off his pant legs, Su Yan surveyed his surroundings. All he saw were decrepit high-rise buildings. The walls were covered with unidentifiable plants, lushly enveloping the structures.

As Su Yan walked, he encountered only plants along the way and had yet to meet any animals. Some plants were quite peculiar, resembling ivy, with many long tendrils. They weren't climbing on walls, slopes, or other plants, but rather on skeletons, most of which belonged to the Human race.

Su Yan examined these plants and triggered his "Knowing each other" ability, peeking into their biological information panels. He then learned that these plants were called Blood Vines—peculiar plants that parasitized living bodies, sprouting and taking root within them.

Suddenly, the sunlight vanished, and a vast shadow loomed over the area.

Su Yan looked up and saw a Sky-reaching Forest Giant floating high in the sky. The tree was immense, hundreds of times larger than Old Shu, the tree he had seen at Luo City Central Primary School. Resembling a Prehistoric Giant Mountain, it obscured the sky above, casting the entire city into its shadow.

With shock on his face, Su Yan observed the floating giant tree for a moment and discovered it to be an enormous banyan tree. Countless roots hung down from it, some more than a thousand meters long, reaching directly to the ground. Such a colossal size was perhaps on par with the legendary World Tree.

Thinking this, Su Yan followed one of the roots that drooped to the ground and climbed up the floating Sky-reaching Forest Giant. What he saw next were various exotic giant plants, as well as several dilapidated buildings, hundreds of meters tall.

"What's that smell?"

All at once, Su Yan detected a faint fragrance. The scent was light but enchanting.

Following the scent, Su Yan found an unassuming little blade of grass. Its stem was delicate, its leaves verdant. It looked no different from common weeds, yet it was filled with a rich essence.

Su Yan looked it over, and soon, a biological information panel popped up in his mind.

[Yingying Grass]: Feeds on nature's spiritual energy and the Essence of the Sun and Moon. Extremely likely to develop sentience. When it blooms and bears fruit, it emits a delightful, sweet, trilling sound, making it one of the favorite ornamental plants among Immortal Women.
