Getting a Sugar Mommy in Cultivation World!!

Chapter 708: The True Dharma Body

His words shook the air as a domain formed around the two of them. An oppressive chill filled the air as the blood vapors soared into the air, coiling like dragons with no eyes. From within the swirling crimson mist, skulls of blood began to form—twisted, screaming—their mouths open in eternal agony, hollow sockets glowing faintly red.

Each skull rose slowly, then faded into smoke as if returning to the void, only for a dozen more to rise in its place.

"T-Those are..." Meng Shui, who finally noticed the progress of their battle, murmured with eyes wide open, "To think he would have resorted to opening his domain against a junior."

Unlike the domain realm Noah had just come out of, this domain was different. These domains are merely a representation of the cultivator's comprehension of a Dao, or concept of a law, in a controlled space.

They pour everything they have comprehended into the set—a domain—within which they gain overwhelming advantages.

This domain was simply that, the broken representation of Chi Zu's shallow understanding of the blood concept and understanding of his sect.

"You don't think that merely using your qi to block the mist would save you?" Chi Zu laughed in disdain, looking at Noah's action. He was brimming with confidence when he noticed the blood mist had started to surround Noah from all directions.

A faint corroding sound started to come from his qi; the red vapors latched on to his qi and started to burn it like an acid drop falling onto someone's skin.

"It's futile. I commend you for fighting someone like me, who is in the Soul Formation Realm. You are the first one to accomplish this feat, and now I am someone who appreciates talent." Seeing the lack of response from Noah, he thought he had humbled the young man with his power and raised his voice even higher. "Join me and give me the thing you took from the secret realm, and I will spare your life."

He extended his arms and opened his palm and continued, "Not only that, but we will also let you join the secret organization behind me, which will allow you to gain unimaginable power. So you just have to give me that thing that you never should have taken in the first place."

After staying silent for a long time, Noah broke his silence with a mocking chuckle, "Why do you even think that I have the thing in the first place? Even if I did have it, there is no way I would have given it to someone like you in the first place."

Noah's words were like a sharp sword that pierced through his shallow ego and turned his expression sour.

But the next moment his expression returned to normal. "Keep wasting time with your bluffs and lies." He sneered.

"I know you have the thing, as that man told me that its aura is practically hugging your body, and if you think you can escape from my domain unscathed, then you are even more delusional than I think."

Saying this, the blood demon waved his hand, and all the mist in the area moved under his command like an extended limb from his body and rushed towards Noah. It wrapped around him, chewing away at his qi even more rapidly.

Noah raised his arms and dispersed the qi around him. Chi Zu grinned victoriously seeing this, but the next second his expression changed.

"How is that possible?" He asked, thunderstruck when he saw Noah not being affected by the passive effect of his domain, "What is this sorcery? This cannot be…"

First came denial, then it was replaced by unrestrained anger.

"Die. Die. Die!" He howled like a drunken idiot, conjuring several weapons condensed from the blood mist, and sent them flying towards Noah.

Seeing the incoming attack, Noah calmly swatted in the air, and a huge palm made of qi appeared in the air, sweeping all the attacks away.

"I did not tell you this before, but I should tell you something." Noah slowly took a step forward, making Chi Zu instinctively back away. "Do you recall the Great Expanse city ten years ago?"

Seeing the flicker in the old demon's eyes, Noah smirked knowingly.

Around the stone platform, several broken walls, dismembered bodies, and destroyed architecture could be seen flying around from one direction to another.

Several hundred meters away, high up in the air, the miasma continued to spread as Liang Chen looked down with a solemn look on his face. The Dharma palm he had sent to kill Hemes had been pushed back by the monk.

Not only did he push it back, but he also threw it away using a True Dharma Body.

On the ground, surrounded by the thick black mist, stood an illusionary demonic Buddha. A towering figure of 60 feet, standing taller than most of the buildings in the area.

The dark visage of the Dharma body had similarities to the Buddha idol Noah had seen before. Yet there was a stark difference between the two of them.

Unlike the Buddha idol, this one does not radiate the righteous warm aura that can scare away the nastiest of the demons. Instead, this one had a sinister aura, something that was demonic itself.

And instead of the head of a human, there was a demonic head with six hollow eyes, all of them oozing black tears. The skin of the True Dharma body was dark, cracked, and swarming with living tattoos that moved around the body like insects.

The Demonic Buddha had six arms, four of them holding a destructive weapon that could flatten a mountain with one swing. While the main two arms were empty, soon a broken rosary made of skulls and a black lotus dripping with blood appeared in his hands.

"I regret the day we picked you from the lowest of the places. We should have left the rat, like you keep scouring the places for scraps." The bitter words came out of Abbot Liang Chen's mouth one after the other, seeing how far the child they had doted on had fallen.

"Whatever you say does not change the truth that is the present." Hovering in the middle of the Dharma Idol, Hemes snorted back coldly and raised the arm holding a staff made of bones and soared through the sky.

"The things have finally come to this point…" Seeing the charge, Liang Chen whispered to himself and brought his hands together in the sign of a prayer.

Boom!

A bright aura of radiance filled the dusky sky and dispersed the darkness. The golden bell from earlier appeared on Liang Chen's palm. It spun wildly in the air and enlarged before it rushed towards the incoming Demonic Buddha.

Clang!

The golden bell collided with the bone staff, and a deep vibration echoed through the mountain range. The runes on the bell flickered, barely holding the attack back. Seeing this, Hemes, formerly Shen Rui, snorted in disdain and increased the output of power behind the attack.

The bell was pushed back; its defense had reached its limits as faint signs of cracks appeared on its golden body, but then suddenly a golden palm got hold of the bell like it was a ball, and the cracks mended by themselves.

Hemes looked past the bell, and his eyes landed on the huge figure in the sky, the true Dharma Idol of Abbot Liang Chen, staring back at him.

Unlike his demonic Buddha avatar, this one was shining with virtue and purity. Yet the expression on the idol's face was not one of calmness but one of sadness.

"You may have been a genius when it comes to cultivation, but I have the power of time and experience with me." Liang Chen announced heavily as he took the backpack and readied himself for round two.

Back on the ground, Noah was facing the blood demon, who had a look of disbelief on his face.

"That can't be? You are playing with me! You are lying!" He staggered back, away from Noah. "You could not have been there."

"Are you sure?" Noah asked with a suggestive smirk on his face, "I have to say whoever was behind this had a great mind. No ordinary cultivator would have traced the incident back to you."

"Every plan had a backup plan, and every failsafe had a failsafe. But, unlucky for you, I happened to be going around that area and caught wind of what was happening." A sword image appeared behind Noah, radiating sharp sword intent from it. The rays swept around the area; the sword's intent alone overwhelmed the domain on its merits and destroyed it altogether. "But I must say you must have never expected that the woman you sent to seduce the city lord would end up falling in love with him and babbling everything about the plan."

Noah's words were like the final nail in the coffin that struck the blood demon and made him realize that what Noah had revealed to him was all true and he was not bluffing.

Noah seemed to have realized this as well when he continued to press on, "Now that you know I was telling the truth, you must be wondering if the other thing I said was true or not."

"Want to test?" Noah asked with a smirk, raising his right hand. He formed a snapping gesture but did not snap his fingers immediately.

Instead, he waited for the look of realization to appear in the old man's eyes before snapping.

Snap!

Splash!

The voice echoed through the entire platform, and almost instantly Chi Zu's body swelled and exploded backwards, the same way Xue Zhen died inside the domain.
