"You are curious about last night?" Xin Yan spoke up, causing the group of seven to tremble. "It was because a bug dared to annoy me, so I crushed that bug. Sadly, the bug lived to see another day. If only I could find a way to torture it without killing it at the same time."

"Oye! Your real thoughts are leaking!" Elysia shivered and screamed at Xin Yan, looking at her as if she were a monster.

'Never defy this woman!' Everyone, including Yuan Ming, who had the mindset of going against the heavens, decided never to cross the woman before them.

Shisan gulped down her saliva secretly before coughing to hide her fear and nervousness. "Let's see if you slacked yesterday or actually did something good."

Without even saying anything, Shisan started beating the kids. Even though they managed to block some of her strikes, it was futile; they would be thrown away with a follow-up kick.

Xin Yan raised her eyebrows at the ruthless actions of the woman. She did not give the disciples a chance to breathe and moved from one to another.

Soon, the torture came to an end. The disciples gasped for breath on the ground while lying on the ground; they did not even have the energy to curse the woman.

'They have made good progress. What did that guy teach them in just one day?' Shisan narrowed her eyes, noticing the subtle progress they had made in just one day of her absence.

"Where is Noah?" Losing interest in the brute way of her teaching, Elysia looked away from the veiled woman and glanced at Xin Yan.

"You did not sneak into his room yesterday?" Xin Yan showed a surprised expression while muttering under her breath, which was heard by Elysia and prompted her to roll her eyes.

"What do you think of me? Of course, I did." As if there was nothing wrong with it, Elysia replied with a small snort, but soon her liveliness deflated. "It's just that he threw me out of the room as soon as I entered without giving me a reason."

Hearing this, Xin Yan's lips curled upwards. In her mind, Noah did that because of her. After kissing Elysia, he practically declared that he was ready to take the two of them into his life.

It must be because Noah knew that Elysia would tempt him, so he threw her out. He wanted to give Xin Yan the turn and not just keep her waiting alone.

"He told me that he would be entering into seclusion for a long time. Maybe till the competition starts." Feeling a little better after last night's events, Xin Yan revealed the devastating news to the green-haired woman.

"No!!!" Elysia screamed in despair, knowing that she might not see Noah for months. Fortunately, no one heard her except Xin Yan, who frowned in annoyance. Elysia immediately turned around to leave and run towards Noah's room only to be stopped by a pure jade-skin hand.

'Stop right there. Don't interrupt him. Besides, he entered the tower. You cannot enter that without his permission.' Xin Yan sent a thought transmission while looking at her sharply.

Despite sharing her feelings with the woman, she did not like the idea of someone interrupting Noah in seclusion if it was not an emergency.

"You should know better than anyone that not seeing Noah for such a long time would be painful." Elysia bit her lips and argued with Xin Yan, but seeing the firm look in her eyes, she knew Xin Yan would not budge from her decision.

Xin Yan sighed after seeing Elysia's resistance decreasing. Suddenly her lips curled upwards, and she looked down on the woman before adding.

'Which is why Noah gave me access to the tower so that I can enter that place whenever I want.'

"You!!" Elysia's eyes widened as a dark aura released out of her body.

The wind in the sky started to go wild, alerting the disciples and Shisan. Seeing the jealousy brewing in Elysia's eyes, Xin Yan felt that she had taken revenge for last night.

'Don't worry, I will take you along as well.' She spoke in a way that indicated she was doing her a favor when Noah gave her access to both of them.

Elysia's aura relaxed, and the surroundings returned to normal, but she still looked at the woman with suspicious eyes.

'What is she plotting?'

'What, don't want to visit him now?'

"Shut up! When did I say that?" Elysia scoffed in annoyance before turning around to leave the place. She couldn't stand to see the face of the hateful woman.

Xin Yan smiled before turning back to look towards the kids and walking in a different direction to sit down cross-legged and practice her sword techniques.

Time in the tower flowed differently, which gave Noah a great advantage in practicing in this place.

But that was not the main reason he was here to train this time.

"Indeed the mana here is better than outside." He exhaled out loud with a smile on his face before sitting down cross-legged.

He closed his mind and recalled the information from his previous life regarding the starting stages of mana advancement.

Unlike cultivating qi, mana did not require different kinds of cultivation techniques. It just required a basic technique, and the rest depended on the talent of the person itself.

Right now, Noah just had one objective for the time he would be secluding himself in this place.
