Chapter 306: Change In Xin Yan's Appearance!
*Woosh!*
Inside the seal, the silver mist in the air glowed with a blue hue. Elysia, who was standing far away, felt the whole area filling with true Dragon aura. Although she was fine with the suppression, she could see that her surroundings had started to freeze.
"Ro0aAAARRR!"
A deafening dragon roar sounded in the seals; the pressure from the roar would have moved the mist away, dispersing it in the air, had it not been for the fact that there were seals in the area holding the qi in place. Otherwise, it would have been dispersed in the air.
Noah also placed a seal to stop the roar from leaking into the sealed area; otherwise, people would start looking for the source of the roar.
Following the thunderous roar, a pair of eyes opened in the mist, looking somewhere outside the seals and closing once again.
*Shhaaa!*
Elysia's eyes moved to the ground below the silver mist where the mist started to move apart, and a shadow became clearer to her. In the next second, the mist separated, and a figure came into her sight.
'To think she would change this much and at the same time would still look the same.'
Emerging from the swirling mist, she exuded an aura of both eternal beauty and maternal warmth. Her hourglass figure, tall and graceful, moved with the gentle sway of the wind. With each graceful step, the ground seemed to tremble in acknowledgment of her presence. Her form was a mesmerizing blend of human and dragon lineage.
Despite her icy demeanor, there was an undeniable softness in her gaze, a motherly tenderness that seemed to envelop everyone who looked at her; even Elysia could feel a soothing feeling from those eyes.
The moment Elysia's eyes moved to her head, she saw a delicate-looking set of ice horns rising like a crystalline crown from the depth of her now silver-bluish hair, which was tied in a loose braid resting on her left shoulder.
Just like her pale skin, her horns shimmered with frost brilliance under the glowing light from the tribulation clouds. Even the delicate patterns of frost and ice crystals that adorned her pale skin were shimmering like stars in the night sky. Upon looking closely, one could see that her otherworldly-looking cheongsam was made from these same crystals, adding to her ethereal allure.
As she moved, her draconian wings unfurled with a graceful sweep, covering an area larger than the size of her own body. The translucent membranes shimmered like frosted glass in the ambient light.
But what caught Elysia's attention the most was her tail, adorned with icy spikes and tufts of frost that truly captured the essence of her superior lineage. The end of her tail possessed blue crystalline jewels, blazing with a kind of light that made even the fire of Gahena seem pale…
When her silver-blue eyes landed on Elysia, radiating a warm smile and gratitude towards the woman, she took a step and disappeared, reappearing in front of the green-haired elf, hugging her without any warning.
"Thank you, Elysia." A bell-like sweet voice came from her mouth; her voice quivered in happiness and gratitude. "I can finally look forward to this."
Elysia could feel something wet on her back; Xin Yan's trembling figure, despite the strength she had, told how much she had been suffering. With a sigh, Elysia hugged the woman back, providing warmth to the woman who had always been providing warmth to others.
"Don't think I would let you have my Noah just because you sweetened up to me." Elysia snorted in an attempt to lighten the mood. Xin Yan chuckled hearing her words before separating away from the woman.
Elysia's warm smile turned into a wide grin, seeing the shadowy look and the glowing reptile eyes on Xin Yan's face.
"Aren't you getting ahead of yourself? Since when was Noah yours?" Xin Yan smiled at Elysia and asked softly.
"Since the moment I laid my eyes on him." With the same look on her face, the green-haired elf laughed with her hand covering her face. Sparks flew in the air as none of them backed down. It was not just their gazes that were colliding; since they were standing close to each other, there was no gap between them.
"Ahem! It's good that you are getting along, but can you take your aura back? All the beasts in the forest are on their knees, prostrating to you."
While the two of them were busy in their 'reunion,' Noah's soul dripped sweat in nervousness, thinking how much daring the two of them had gotten with their feelings. Not wanting to let this small disagreement go on for any longer, Noah coughed to get their attention.
Hearing Noah's huskier and heavy voice, Xin Yan froze before trembling a little; she had forgotten that Noah was there in that place.
Hearing his words, she spread her soul sense in the entire area and saw that all the beasts in the whole forest, no matter their power level, were all on their knees, kneeling to the king in the area.
Realizing what she had done, Xin Yan hurriedly took her aura back along with her draconian features. After she did that, she appeared to be a normal woman, extremely beautiful but a mortal woman nonetheless.
"What was that? Woahh!" Wuhan, who came out of his trance after Xin Yan returned to normal, hurriedly walked inside the seal. But as soon as his eyes landed on Xin Yan, he could not help but exclaim out loud.
But then instantly, he felt three different sharp intents locking on his body, causing him to tremble like a leaf in a storm…
'This is unfair!!!'
Ignoring the pitiful man, Noah looked above his head, sensing the changes in the dragon blood essence. It was now fully prepared and glowing with four other colors than black and white.
"Looks like it's my turn now. I will… not… be able— " Before Noah could finish his first sentence, the philosopher's stone, along with the dragon blood, rushed and entered his body, blood-colored energy started to swirl around him and a cacoon of red threads started to appear out of the philosopher's stone.
He wanted to say another thing, but all of a sudden, drowsiness hit him, and he entered a sleeping state before he could finish his second line.
