Chapter 7: Did I get a job
They both looked up in the sky, as they saw the sky clear, as they relsihes that jean has cleaner the Final temple.
Kaeya just looked at the sky. "Will she is the acting grand master for a reason".
Aether nodd
ed and looked up. "Yeah it makes sense".
After awhile they arrived back to the Knight headquarters, as Jean was looking at him with a smile.
Jean looked at Aether. "Thank you for all your help, and do to this I grand you the title of a Knight of the Knight of Favonius".
Aether looked at her before he blinked. "Did I just get a job".
Amber and Lisa had to hold back they lap at stupidness if there Crush, as For Kaeya he let out a chuckle, and as for certain geo made who was studying in the library she screamed a loud fuck, not knowing why.
Jean smiled at Aether's confusion. "Yes, you're officially a Knight of Favonius now. It's not a job in the traditional sense, but it's an acknowledgment of your contributions and a mark of respect from us."
Aether looked at his new title with a mix of surprise and amusement. "I see. Well, I guess I can add 'Knight' to my list of accomplishments."
Amber and Lisa exchanged amused glances, trying to stifle their laughter. Kaeya, ever the observer, shook his head with a smile.
Meanwhile, Noello, who had been quietly observing from the library, could only imagine what the commotion was about. She sighed in frustration, feeling a bit embarrassed by her own reaction.
Jean continued, her tone growing more serious. "With this title comes a responsibility to uphold the values and duties of the Knights. But knowing you, I'm confident you'll handle it well."
Aether nodded, feeling a sense of pride mixed with the weight of his new role. "I'll do my best. So, what's next for me as a Knight?"
Jean chuckled. "For now, enjoy your accomplishment. We have some celebratory events planned, and you're welcome to join us. After that, we'll see where your skills and talents can be best utilized."
As the group made their way to the celebration, Aether couldn't help but reflect on how his adventures had led him to this unexpected new role. The world of Teyvat was full of surprises, and he was eager to see what came next.
The group left the room, as they did, Kaeya asked a question that will make Aether want to kill him, for why he asked that Question.
Kaeya looked at Aether. "So do you have a home to stay at".
Aether just looked at him. "Actually I don't, I just arrived to Mondstandt so yeah, plus I am traveler so".
Jeane just looked at him. "But you need a place to stay, I am sure we can't find a house for you to live in".
Taking chance both Amber and Lisa grabbed each of his arm, as they looked at him, as they spoke
Amber was holding Aether right. "You can stay with me for the time"
Lisa who grabbed his right, arm as she pressed her chest next to his arm. "Why don't you stay with me Cutie".
The both girl hearing eachother glared at eachother as sparks fly's between them, Aether already knew what was happening as for Paimon she jusy went back a few feets, and Aether just glared at Kaeya
Kaeya smirked, clearly enjoying the situation. "Looks like you've got some options, Aether. Though, if you want my advice, choosing might be a bit tricky with them both so eager."
Aether sighed, trying to keep the peace. "I appreciate the offers, really. How about this—let's sort out a place for me to stay where I won't cause any more friction between you two."
Amber and Lisa continued to glare at each other, though their expressions softened slightly as Aether spoke. Jean stepped in to defuse the tension.
"Alright, I think we can arrange something," Jean said, her authoritative tone cutting through the standoff. "There's a guest room available at the Knights' headquarters. It's not much, but it's a start. And it should help you avoid the complications of choosing between our friends here."
Amber and Lisa exchanged glances, reluctantly nodding in agreement.
As they walked back to the headquarters, Paimon hovered next to Aether. "Well, that was something. At least you've got a place to stay for now."
Aether glanced at her with a smirk. "Yeah, let's just hope the room doesn't come with unexpected roommates or further entanglements."
As they entered the headquarters, Jean led them to a modest but comfortable guest room.
"Feel free to settle in here for now," Jean said, handing Aether a key. "Once you're settled, we can discuss more about your stay and how we can best support your endeavors in Mondstadt."
Amber and Lisa both gave Aether a nod before heading off, their rivalry simmering down for the moment. As they left, Paimon floated beside Aether.
"So, what's the plan now? Explore more of Mondstadt, or do you have something specific in mind?"
Aether looked around the guest room, considering the options. "Let's take it one step at a time. For now, I think I'll explore the city a bit and see what opportunities arise. Maybe find out more about the local lore and any potential leads for future adventures."
Paimon nodded enthusiastically. "Sounds like a plan! Let's get started."

He marveled at Albion, its craftsmanship evident in the rich crimson blade and the intricate design. Aether replaced his dull blade with Albion, feeling the new weapon's balance and sharpness.
"Looks like we're well-equipped now," Aether said, admiring the sword. "Let's put it to good use."
He turned to Paimon, who was eagerly awaiting their next adventure. "Ready to head out and see what's next?"
Paimon nodded excitedly. "Paimon's ready! Let's go find some new challenges and maybe show off that new sword!"
With his new weapon and the enhanced Dragon Egg, Aether and Paimon set off toward Mondstadt, eager to explore and tackle new quests.
Aether then left his room, he went to the adventure guild, and learn of near by hilichurl camp, he came to the place ready to fight but he saw a somsoneh already there fighting and Aether can say that luck was not on his side, the teen has white hair, pale skin, and green eyes. He wears a rusty google on top of the head, a scarf on his left shoulder that seems to get injured when he got bad luck, a cream sleeveless jacket, blue cuffed navy shorts, leather belt, a yellow bandana tied a right arm, and blue shoes with a golden symbol.
Aether just landed next to the boy and took the Hilichurl attack him. "Looks like you can use hand, don't mind if a help you, name is Aether.
The teen boys eyes sparkling looking at him. "Wow they was cool, oh right name is Bennett leader of Bennet adventures teams".
As then a rock out god no were comes from the sky and falls on, him as Bennett wonder where did that come from.
Aether landed smoothly beside Bennett, who was engaged in a fierce battle with the Hilichurls. The Hilichurls, distracted by Aether's sudden appearance, shifted their focus toward him.
Bennett, eyes wide with admiration, looked up at Aether. "Wow, you're really something! I'm Bennett, the leader of the Bennet Adventures team. I could definitely use some help here!"
As Aether readied his sword, he noticed a rock hurtling from the sky, heading straight toward Bennett. Reacting quickly, Aether used his Anemo abilities to create a gust of wind, diverting the rock and preventing it from hitting Bennett.
"Looks like luck isn't always on your side," Aether commented with a smirk as he struck down a Hilichurl.
Bennett, still catching his breath, glanced up at Aether with a mix of relief and awe. "Thanks for that! I guess it's a good thing you showed up. Things have been pretty rough lately."
Aether continued to fend off the Hilichurls while Bennett regrouped. "No problem. I'm here to help, and it seems like you could use a hand. Let's take these guys down together."
With their combined efforts, the two quickly dispatched the remaining Hilichurls. Bennett, still buzzing with excitement, looked over at Aether with a grateful smile.
"You're amazing, Aether! I could definitely use someone like you on our team. You seem to handle yourself really well out here."
Aether sheathed Albion, wiping sweat from his brow. "Thanks, Bennett. I'm just here to help and see what this place has to offer. Maybe we can team up again sometime."
As the last Hilichurl fell, Bennett began gathering the spoils of the battle, still talking animatedly about his adventures and the challenges he had faced.
"Feel free to join us at the guild if you're around," Bennett offered. "We're always up for new recruits and good company."
Aether nodded, considering the offer. "I might just do that. Catch you later, Bennett."
With a friendly wave, Aether departed, ready to continue his journey in Mondstadt.
Aether then actives the system, as he was alone with Paimon. "Hey system, why his luck kinda, bad it didn't seemed normal, he caught on fire 5 times".
[ Will host, from the scan I did of him, I can only say one thing, and that is if you have Heaven defining good luck, he has Heaven defining bad luck, which makes and gods asn fate feel pity for him ]
Aether listened to the system's explanation, nodding thoughtfully as he processed the information.
"That makes sense," Aether mused. "It's like he's got the complete opposite of my luck. No wonder he's had so many misadventures."
Paimon floated next to him, her expression one of concern. "That sounds rough. But if Bennett has such bad luck, how does he keep going?"
The system chimed in again, offering some insight.
[ Will host, despite his misfortune, Bennett's determination and optimism allow him to keep pushing forward. His resilience in the face of such adversity is what keeps him going, even when the odds seem stacked against him. ]
Aether glanced back in the direction Bennett had gone. "Sounds like he's got a lot of spirit. Maybe we'll run into him again soon. I wouldn't mind helping him out if he needs it."
Paimon nodded, her curiosity piqued. "Yeah, it would be nice to see how he handles more of his bad luck with your help."
As they continued their journey, Aether kept the encounter with Bennett in mind, considering how he might assist him in the future.
