Genshin Impact: The Crit Archon

Chapter 14: Rifthound

Aether then return back to the knight of Favonius headquarters, as he went to his room, Paimon looked at him with worry, he went to his room, and took of his shirt, as he saw a giant claw mark on his back and his closest were a bit destroyed he needs a new one, as he looked at his back, he started to use some healing mage craft, as then the door room to his room opens, as Eula his roommate walkee in

Eula eyes moved as she looked at him. "Hey Aether I wanna apologise for what Ha-". She cut her self mid sentence as she looked at Aether body. "What the hell happend to you".

She rushed to him and stared to use her Cryo vision to heal him, Hydro Visions may have been the best to heal him but it didn't mean that Other vision can't heal him.

Eula just looked at Aether. "What happened to you and why didn't you go to the church so Barbars could heal you"

Aether glanced at Eula, a bit surprised by her sudden appearance and concern. He winced slightly as Eula's Cryo vision worked its magic, soothing the pain from the claw marks on his back.

"I was attacked by Rifthounds in the forest," Aether explained. "They're not your typical monsters. They're... more dangerous and difficult to deal with. I had to fight them off and didn't have the chance to get to the church."

Eula's eyes narrowed in concern. "Rifthounds? I've heard of them before. They're quite dangerous. Why did you go out there alone?"

Aether shook his head, trying to stay calm despite the pain. "I wasn't expecting to run into such a large pack. I thought I could handle it, but things got out of hand quickly. I didn't want to risk involving others if it wasn't necessary."

Eula's expression softened as she continued to use her Cryo vision to heal the wounds. "You should have at least informed someone. It's reckless to go up against such threats without backup."

Aether nodded, understanding her point. "I know, I'll be more cautious next time. Thanks for helping me out. I appreciate it."

As Eula worked, she glanced around the room and noticed the state of his clothes. "You're going to need new clothes. I can get you something from my spare set if you need it."

Aether looked at his torn and bloodstained clothes. "That would be great, thanks. I don't have time to go shopping right now."

Eula nodded and quickly retrieved a clean set of clothes from her own stash. When she returned, she handed them to Aether. "Here, these should fit you. Make sure you get proper rest and avoid going out on dangerous missions without informing the others."

Aether took the clothes gratefully and began changing. "I will. I just want to get this sorted and then I'll head back to the Knights."

Eula watched as he changed, her concern still evident. "Remember, Aether, you don't have to do everything alone. There's a reason why we have the Knights and allies."

Aether finished changing and gave her a reassuring nod. "I understand. I'll keep that in mind."

Eula looked at Aether as this time she was blushing. "And um sorry for last night and how I grabbed you and will you know put you between my boobs, and the awkwardness of today's morning with everyone"

Aether just chuckled and looked at her. "It is ok and if your think of changing room it is fine, I am ok with you still being my roommate and um...I kinda liked it when you squeezed me between your chest"

Eula's face turned a deep shade of red as she processed Aether's comment. She stammered, trying to regain her composure. "I-I didn't mean for any of that to happen, I just—"

Aether gave a reassuring smile. "I was just joking, Eula. It was an accident, and honestly, it wasn't that bad. Besides, it's not like you did it on purpose."

Eula looked away, clearly flustered but trying to hide her embarrassment. "Well, I suppose it's good that you're not upset. But still, I'll be more mindful of my actions in the future."

Aether chuckled softly. "No need to worry too much. Just let's focus on getting back to normal and moving past this awkwardness."

Eula nodded, still blushing but relieved. "Alright. If you need anything else, just let me know. I'll make sure to stay out of your way."

Aether gave her a reassuring nod. "Thanks, Eula. I appreciate it."

As Eula left the room, Aether sighed with relief, feeling a bit more at ease. The morning's events had been unexpected, but with Eula's apology and their mutual understanding, he felt more prepared to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Aeterh still need new clothes he asked help from his friend, after a while they dragged him to Diluc place, as Diluc just looked at the group, before giving Aether a Changing room for him to changes at.

Aether looked at all the cloth everyone give him. "Gess which one do I pick".

Paimon just looked at him. "Just mix and match it is from everyone".

Aether just sigehd. "Let's see I take the gloves from lisa, the tie from amber, coat from Kaeya, button Shirt from Jean, Black pants from Noelle, Boots from Eula and this furry cafe/Coat from Diluc".

As in the outsude everyone wanted as Aether walked and they looked at him, as he was wearing a black coat with a white buttons shirt under it, with black pants with a golden belt, a golden yellow tie that had the same logo from what his old outfit had, black boots, with black gloves a white furry coat with golden degine that was over the outfit, Seeing Him like this Eula, Amber, Lisa and Noelle faces goes red, as they felt like a arrow of love just hit them will that for Eula as for Amber, Lisa ans Noelle it felt like it hit them twice, Jeane, Kaeya and Diluc just looked at him

Aether just looked at them. "So um how do I look"

The group stood in awe as Aether emerged in his new outfit. Eula, Amber, Lisa, and Noelle were visibly flustered, their faces turning red as they tried to compose themselves. The combination of the different pieces had created a striking and stylish look, but the effect it had on them was undeniable.

Jean raised an eyebrow, a faint smile tugging at her lips. "You look... quite sharp. I must say, that outfit suits you well."

Kaeya smirked, nodding in approval. "Indeed. It seems you have a talent for blending styles."

Diluc gave a nod of approval, his expression neutral but his eyes showing a hint of satisfaction. "Not bad. I see you've managed to incorporate elements from everyone's preferences."

Paimon floated beside Aether, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "You look great, Aether! It's like you've become a fashion icon!"

Aether chuckled at the reactions, feeling a mix of amusement and satisfaction. "Glad to hear it. Thanks, everyone, for the help. I appreciate it."

The girls, still recovering from their initial shock, managed to regain their composure. Eula cleared her throat, trying to sound casual. "Yes, you look very nice. We should get going now."

Keaye looked at him. "So you combined the best part of each of outfit we gave you, not a bad idea"

Aether laughs at that as he looked at them. "Will more like I mixed and matched the ones that matched"

Paimon just looked at them. "Trust me the reason it took us 30 minutes was trying to figure out what goes with what, the amount of fusion he came up that looked wrong, will um Paimon doesn't want to talk about them"

Kaeya raised an eyebrow, chuckling. "I can only imagine. Mixing and matching can be quite the challenge."

Aether grinned. "Yeah, there were a few combinations that didn't quite work out. But I think we ended up with something that fits well."

Paimon nodded vigorously. "Exactly! Some combinations looked... interesting, but we finally got it right."

Jean smiled, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Well, it was worth the effort. You look great. Now, shall we get back to business?"

As the group prepared to head out, the mood was much lighter and more relaxed. With the new outfit boosting Aether's confidence and the support of his friends, they were ready to tackle whatever challenges lay ahead.

The next day, Aether returned to the area where he was attacked the previous day. As he approached, he saw Razor battling several Rifthounds with his claymore, his movements swift and feral. Without wasting a moment, Aether sprinted towards the scene, pulling out Albion, his blade gleaming in the daylight.

Charging into the fray, Aether slashed at a Rifthound, sending it reeling with a precise strike. "Razor, you alright?" he called out, quickly positioning himself back-to-back with the wolf-boy.

Razor grunted in acknowledgment, his wild eyes focused on the enemies around them. "Razor fight, always ready. But... these are more than before."

Aether nodded, noticing the growing number of Rifthounds emerging from the woods. "They're multiplying. We need to take them down fast."

With that, Aether activated his wind-elemental abilities, channeling Anemo through Albion as he swept through the Rifthounds, each strike carrying the force of a storm. Razor, in perfect sync, called upon his wolf spirit, the energy crackling around him as he tore into the beasts with his claymore.

Together, they fought, cutting down the Rifthounds one by one, but more kept coming. The air grew heavy with tension, and Aether realized this might be a larger problem than he first anticipated.

Aether and Razor stood back-to-back, surveying the pack of Rifthounds that surrounded them. The air was thick with tension as the beasts growled menacingly, their red eyes glowing ominously in the dim forest light. The largest of the Rifthounds, a towering creature with pulsating dark fur and a fearsome presence, stepped forward, its howl echoing through the trees.

"Razor, stay sharp!" Aether shouted, gripping Albion tightly. He summoned a swirling wind around him, the gusts creating a barrier that pushed back the Rifthounds.

Razor, with a fierce snarl, prepared his claymore. "Razor ready. We fight together!"

As the Rifthounds closed in, the first wave lunged at them. Aether darted forward, his blade cutting through the air with precision. He unleashed a powerful wind slash, sending the first Rifthounds reeling and dissipating into dark mist. Razor charged in alongside him, his claymore moving with deadly grace as he cleaved through several of the beasts with each swing.

The battle intensified as more Rifthounds joined the fray. Aether jumped into the air, channeling his wind abilities to create a tornado around him. He slashed downwards, the vortex shredding through the enemies. Meanwhile, Razor called upon his wolf spirit, which materialized and began tearing through the Rifthounds with savage efficiency. The wolf's howl sent a wave of electrical energy coursing through the pack, paralyzing several of the creatures.

Despite their efforts, the Rifthounds kept coming. Aether felt one clawing at his side, the pain sharp but manageable. He retaliated by coating Albion in fire magecraft, delivering a scorching blow that incinerated the creature. Razor, using his wolf spirit's strength, summoned a powerful Electro attack, sending lightning bolts arcing through the remaining Rifthounds.

The pack leader, the largest and most formidable of the Rifthounds, remained unharmed amidst the chaos. It roared, its claws extended and dripping with a dark, corrupting energy. It charged at Razor, aiming for a fatal strike.

"Razor!" Aether shouted, rushing to his ally's aid. He coated Albion with both wind and lightning magic, delivering a devastating slash to the pack leader's side. The beast roared in pain, staggering but not defeated.

Razor, grimacing but resolute, summoned the full power of his wolf spirit. His body crackled with Electro energy as he launched a powerful strike with his claymore, the blade glowing fiercely. Aether joined in, creating a powerful wind vortex that slammed into the pack leader, further weakening it.

The combined assault proved too much for the pack leader. With a final, guttural roar, it exploded into a mist of dark energy, its form disintegrating before their eyes.

As the last of the Rifthounds vanished, Aether and Razor stood amidst the remnants of the battle, exhausted but victorious. Aether wiped the sweat from his brow and looked at Razor with a nod of respect.

"Nice work," Aether said, catching his breath.

Razor, panting but grinning, responded, "Razor glad to help. We make good team."

With the immediate threat gone, the forest began to calm. Aether and Razor made their way back, ready to report their success and prepare for whatever challenges lay ahead.

Aether activated the system interface, his eyes scanning the display as he reviewed the results of his recent battle. The system provided a detailed breakdown of his performance.

[Battle Report

- **Special Effect Activated:** Million Times Crit Effect

Aether marveled at the numbers. The sheer volume of critical hits and the activation of the special effect had evidently made a significant impact on the battle. He felt a sense of satisfaction, knowing that his preparation and skills had paid off.

"Looks like the system's crit capabilities are working better than expected," Aether mused, feeling a renewed confidence in his abilities.
