Genshin Impact: Template System

"Ahhhhhh…" Above the storm-covered seas of Inazuma, space was torn open, and a screaming figure fell out of a black hole. 

Akio looked down in terror as he plummeted at free-fall speed from thousands of meters in the air. 

Even though it was water below, he was still terrified. 

Falling from such a height, hitting the water would be no different from hitting concrete. 

It was such a cruel twist of fate. 

As a male college student who had just finished his first year, Akio had returned home for summer vacation. 

Being the lazy college student he was, he had just gotten out of bed, ready to boot up Genshin Impact! 

Just as the game loaded to the gates of Celestia, he was hit by an out-of-control car. 

Yes! Akio was at home, living on the second floor, when a reckless female driver sent him flying with her out-of-control car. 

All Akio felt was a sudden darkness, and the next thing he knew, he was free-falling from thousands of meters in the air. 

"My life is over!" Akio stopped screaming. 

He never thought he'd encounter such a bizarre accident—getting hit by a car while at home! It seemed he was the most peculiar transmigrator in history, one who was about to die from falling right after arriving. 

"Ding! Detected that the host is in free-fall. Unlocking the All-Powerful Template Cheat!" 

Suddenly, a voice rang out in Akio's mind, bringing a smile to his face. It seemed he did have a golden finger after all! 

"Detected that the host is in the world of Teyvat. Loading the complete map of Teyvat. Recording all local lifeform templates." 

"Detected that the host is in a high-level crisis. Activating the All-Powerful Template Cheat. Unlocking the Herrscher of the Void S-rank template from Honkai Impact 3rd." 

"Establishing a forced connection to the Imaginary Space for the host. Loading the Herrscher of the Void ability manual." 

After the cheat's voice faded, Akio's mind was instantly filled with an analysis of the Herrscher of the Void's abilities. In a flash, he adapted to the powers of the Herrscher of the Void. 

The next moment, a golden light flashed, and Akio disappeared from his original position, reappearing on land not far from the sea. 

"Damn…" Akio calmed his emotions after such a rollercoaster of events. 

He truly admired his ability to accept so much in such a short time. 

As a college student, his motto was to go with the flow. 

"Am I in Teyvat?" Akio suddenly remembered the system's voice and quickly looked around, his face immediately falling. 

The sky was covered in thunderstorms, the atmosphere was oppressive, and everywhere he looked, there were ronin and Kairagi. This was clearly the beginner's hell—Inazuma. And it was Inazuma during the Vision Hunt Decree and Sakoku Decree. 

In the game, the locked-down Inazuma might have just seemed a bit oppressive, but in reality, it was a place where people were struggling to survive.

"Answering the host, this system is called the All-Powerful Template Cheat. It possesses, but is not limited to, all the abilities and items of every character from every world you know. You can obtain any template or item from the myriad realms." 

"Hmm… Will there be any difficult tasks?" Akio asked. 

"Not at all. This system unlocks skills and items purely at random. Any event in your life could unlock a certain template or item," the system explained. 

"This system does not have the authority to assign you any tasks. You are absolutely free." 

"Of course, unlocking templates depends on luck and is not fixed. Please understand," the system added apologetically. 

"Oh~ So you're saying that I don't have the authority to unlock specific items, and the things I do or encounter in life have a chance to unlock templates and skills, right?" Akio rubbed his chin. 

This system was pretty laid-back, relying on randomness. 

As someone with terrible luck, would he never unlock a new template? 

But with the Herrscher of the Void's abilities, shouldn't he be able to dominate Teyvat? 

"Host, please do not get too carried away. Although you have obtained the Herrscher of the Void template, it is currently only at the S-rank level, comparable to an ordinary deity in Teyvat," the system quickly added.

"You have only obtained the S-rank template. When you unlock the SS-rank template, the Herrscher of the Void's abilities alone will allow you to easily defeat top-tier deities in Teyvat. If you unlock the SSS-rank Herrscher of the Void complete template, you will surpass the Heavenly Principles and truly dominate all of Teyvat," the system explained. 

"I see." Akio reined in his slightly inflated ego. 

Well, the best thing about him was that he listened to advice—it definitely wasn't because he was scared. 

There were plenty of top-tier archons in Teyvat. 

Just the ones he knew of included Morax, the Geo Archon, and Baal, the Electro Archon. 

As for that slacker Anemo Archon, who was always slacking off and pretending to be weak, who knew how much power that "hehe" guy really had? 

The daily life of the Mondstadt baby was "May the Anemo Archon protect you." With such faith, could Venti really be weak? Akio certainly didn't believe it.

He had been wanting to try sunsettias for a long time. 

The sunsettias were large, just like in the game. 

Each tree bore only three fruits, but that was enough to satisfy an adult's hunger.
