Knowing that Lu Li had things to do and that she had recovered enough to return to her shop, Chiori shooed him away. Today was busy. He had only come to Chioriya Boutique to order a uniform, but now, even though a lot of time had passed, he could still make it to the Spina di Rosula's headquarters in the Fleuve Cendre.

After saying goodbye to Chiori, Lu Li hurried on his way, thinking about her dietary preferences. She didn't seem to like overly strong or rich flavors. But since she was from Inazuma, where seafood was abundant, maybe fish soup would be to her liking?

Lost in thought, he descended the stairs to the underground city. As soon as he reached the Fleuve Cendre, he became fully alert. The security underground was completely different from the surface. The area was a melting pot of gangs, thugs, and enforcers. Having grown up in the House of the Hearth, Lu Li had dealt with these types more than most people had eaten salt. He knew how to navigate this environment. Avoid secluded areas to prevent trouble, and don't squeeze into crowds where you could easily be pickpocketed.

He calmly bypassed a group of thugs who looked like they were missing a few brain cells and headed for the Spina di Rosula's headquarters. However, as he reached a dark alley, a group of people suddenly blocked his path, while another group of masked thugs blocked the way behind him.

"That bulge in your pocket is Mora, right? Hand it over," one of them said with a grin, pulling out a small knife. "Judging by your looks, you're a tourist, right? The upper and lower districts are completely different. Consider this a lesson!"

Lu Li looked at the encircling thugs with a strange expression, sighed, and said calmly, "Excuse me, can you let me pass? I don't want to see any blood."

The thugs exchanged glances and then burst out laughing.

Behind Lu Li, a burly man struck first, aiming a palm at his back. But Lu Li's reaction was faster. Before the palm could land, he had already turned, twisted his waist, and unleashed a powerful elbow strike, hitting the man's chin and knocking him out cold.

The surrounding thugs stared in shock, not expecting him to fight back. Before they could get angry, Lu Li attacked again. Since he had already made his move, there was no need to worry about trouble.

"Aargh—"

One thug was sent flying three meters away with a kick. Now everyone knew Lu Li was not to be trifled with, but they weren't about to give up. The leader roared, "You bastard!" and lunged with his dagger.

But his movements were too slow and full of openings for someone with Lu Li's training. Especially now, after his bloodline had been altered and his physical abilities had been boosted by Yanling: Monarch's Blaze.

Lu Li sidestepped and brought his elbow down on the attacker's neck, knocking him out. He then faced the two who were rushing him. He stepped on one's chest, using him as a springboard to leap up and kick the other in the face. After taking down two more, he landed lightly and faced the last remaining thug.

Seeing his comrades all unconscious, the thug's face turned pale, but then twisted into a ferocious snarl as he charged. Lu Li's uppercut was faster, hitting his chin and making him double over. He followed up with a powerful blow to the man's side, then another hook to the head, and finally a sweeping kick to the face.

Thud.

The lifeless body hit the ground. Lu Li clapped his hands and looked at the pile of unconscious bodies in the narrow alley with a speechless expression. He didn't like trouble, but that didn't mean he wouldn't fight back when it came looking for him.

"Clap, clap, clap!"

The sound of applause drew his attention. He looked towards the source and saw two men in suits standing at the entrance of the alley. "Melus and Silver, when did you get here?"

"Just a moment ago," said the man in sunglasses. "We were about to help, but you finished them off so quickly. With skills like that, I hope you'll spar with me sometime. I want to do more for the Spina di Rosula."

"Silver is right," said the other man, a white-haired elder in a suit. "You took care of them in just six seconds. We didn't even have time to intervene. It was truly amazing."

"They're just ordinary people hiding behind a tough facade," Lu Li shook his head and walked towards them. "But what are you two doing here? Is Navia here too?"

"No, the young lady is still in the Beryl Region handling the Spina's finances. She needs to relax, so if you have the chance, please go and visit her, Lord Lu Li. She would be very happy to go out and have fun with you. We would also like to see her relax," said Melus, the white-haired elder, gently.

Lu Li scratched his head awkwardly and nodded. "I'll keep that in mind. So, you two are here for...?"

"On President Callas's orders, we came to find you. We didn't expect to run into you here," Melus said sincerely. "In any case, Lord Lu Li, the meeting place has been changed to prevent any leaks. I am here to take you to the new secret location."

"I see. Mr. Callas is very reliable. In that case, let's go now!" Lu Li said with a nod. He remembered vaguely that there was a very dangerous but well-hidden mole close to Callas. He was relieved to know Callas was taking such precautions. Navia's dad is indeed reliable!
