Gaming With A Keyblade(DxD)

Seth lowered his body dodging a punch from a puppet dressed as a butler, he felt a tingling sensation from the back of his head, it was a kick from a puppet dressed like a maid, he took out a second light sword and spun his body slicing both puppets in half. 

Looking at the light sword in his hand he smiled. 

'Buying a second one from Jerry was definitely a good idea.'

Now he didn't have to rely on the keyblade much, though even if it does less damage to the heartless it still makes gaming fun. 

He then pulled up his map. 

"Though this mansion is hella huge, without this map I'd probably get lost."

Right now Seth was in the new mansion area above most if not every room hanging an expensive chandelier, every room looked old and decrepit and there were puppets everywhere which included two new variants, the puppet maid and the puppet butler. 

[Beep beep!]

A ringing sound occured. 

Taking his phone out of his pocket he saw it was time for him to go to bed. 

'It's getting late again.' 

It's been a day since he fought that puppet Fencer along with bruiser they've appeared as now common enemies. 

Appearing in his room he took off his clothes and threw them in his hamper before stepping into the bath. 

While soaking in the tub he took out a light sword and sliced his arm a few times.

[Gamer is now under the bleeding status you'll lose 5 HP every 30 seconds]

[Skill Minor Regeneration activated] 

This is a passive skill he gained after he took a potion to stop the bleeding from the puppet Fencer. It only heals small wounds currently which is why try to grind it every time he can.

*Munch!* 

Koneko bit into a cookie, as she ate she couldn't help but have a small smile on her normally emotionless face. 

"Ara! Are those cookies really that good to make you smile, Koneko-chan?" Asked a raven haired beauty, this one of the Great Onee-samas of Kuoh Akeno Himejima.

"Well of course it is. It was made by Seth, he's a pretty good chef and baker." Says Kiba who walked in. 

"You mean the Smiling Prince? If he's getting a compliment from you Kiba-kun, then he must be good. Can I try one Koneko-chan?" 

"Only one, no more." She emotionlessly says as she hands Akeno a cookie. 

She then took a small bite, immediately her eyes widened. 

"Ara! Ara! Ara! Arara! It's wonderful!" She says as blush came upon her face along with a smile. 

"Koneko-chan, may I get another? Please!!!" She begged.

"No way." She replied and Akeno just sighed, she knew she wouldn't budge. A dangerous glint appeared in her eyes. 

"Then I guess I'll just have to ask him myself?" She asked as a smug smile appeared on her face as she began to chuckle.

The white haired nekoshou's eyebrow twitched as a glint of anger appeared in her eyes. 

The two stayed like that, staring each other down for a full minute, Kiba smartly decided to stay out of their conversation. 

"Alright girls calm down, we have a stray devil to hunt." Says a beautiful crimson haired girl this was Rias Gremory, one of the two Great Onee-sans of Kuoh and heir to the house of Gremory. 

"""Yes Buchou!""" They said before they all set off.

"Whoa!" I dodged a spike made of ice. 

[Puppet Magician. Lv. 28]

Not only have the monsters gotten stronger but also I've found a new type of enemies.

I pointed one of my light blades at the Puppet. 

"Flame Arrow!" A sharp arrow-like flame appeared about ten inches in and shot off towards the Puppet. 

*Boom!* It was blown to bits. 

*Ding ding ding!* 

I heard a small dinging sound, it was incredibly so faint my superhuman hearing could nearly follow it but with a bit of effort I did. 

It was a floating head, specifically my head, with a golden glow surrounding it.

I used Observe, it'd be dumb to touch an object I know almost nothing about. And I wasn't disappointed.

[Extra Life - Refills, HP, Sp and Mp to 100% after it hits 0. Only can be used by a Gamer.]

"Holy shit an extra Life! Now I definitely know investing all 80 of my stat points into my luck was worth it!" 

After he invested his stat points into luck he's been receiving much better drops, like increased potions, Munny and other miscellaneous items and materials.

"Though it's kinda a bummer I still don't have any clues on where to find Jerry's brother." 

*Boom!*

Hearing that explosion a smile appeared onto his face. 

"Luck stat I love you!" I say as I immediately ran to the location.

"Fire kupo!" Shouted a Moogle wearing wizards hat and robes, weirdly it held a staff with a wizards hat as well.

A large fireball was then shot from the staff which hit a group of puppets turning them to nothing but charred wood.

"Take that you filthy wooden scoundrels kupo!" Shouted the moogle.

*Step step step!* 

"More of you say kupo! Blizzaga!" He shouted as a beam of pure ice was sent flying to the direction of the foot steps.

"Oh crap!" Seth's body became frozen in ice.

"Oh! I am so very sorry! I thought you were an enemy kupo!" said the moogle as he bowed his head. 

"Hehe! It's cool man! My Cold Resistance skill went up a ton!" Says Seth with a smile on his face.

Right now the two were in a safe zone which was a living room with a fireplace, where Seth is currently heating up his body, there are a lot of these for some reason.

"Anyways Jericho is worried about you." I told him. 

"My brother is kupo? So you found him kupo? Phew!" He says, releasing a sigh of worry. 

"Though I gotta say your magic is amazing!"

"Yes yes, I may be adept in magic but I'm rather more interested in the crafting of magical items and the brewing of potions and such. Though without Eden's workshop some items and functions aren't going to work, so crafting magical items isn't going to be possible for now kupo."

"I see it's still nice to meet you anyway Kanon." He said as the two shook hands. 

"Anyways I know a safe zone where the shop's located."

"Alright, you take the lead kupo." Said the moogle.

[Do you accept Kanon's joining your party? →Yes/No]

He accepted.

[Exp will be shared between you two however a number of differing factors shall decide how it's shared. Would you like an explanation? →Yes/No.]

Yeah he wasn't interested.

[Kanon has left your party!]

"Brother!" Shouted a crying Jericho. 

"Ahh! Calm down brother, there's nothing to cry about kupo?" Says Kanon as he stroked his brother backs 

"How could I ever thank you kupo?" Asked Jericho with tears streaming down his face and snot leaking out his nose. 

"It's fine, it's my Game that started this mess. I should fix it." He replied with a small smile.

"Anyway Jericho, can I buy that book Human magic."

"Sure! As thanks I'll give you a 30% discount kupo!"

"Are you able to do that?"

"It's no big deal kupo! As long as I don't overdo it, kupo." He reassures me.

"Alright whatever you say."

'It's five days now and still no sign of Eden.' I thought while walking to school, I was wearing a black hoodie with blue stars littered onto it, I did wear my Kuoh blazer over it though.

'Not only that I've already cleared all of the Dark spots, honestly if it weren't for them I couldn't have gotten those eight levels.' 

The enemies may be stronger but the exp he was gaining could barely level him up, he'd probably had to spend most of his time grinding just to gain three levels a week if it weren't for the Dark Spots, but he just doesn't want to ignore all the people in his personal life.

Plus he's been getting lessons on making some japanese snacks from Granny Chizu.

However a conversation from a certain trio then brought him out of his thoughts. 

"Hahaha! You guys should try getting a girlfriend too!" Says a spiky brown haired teen as he laughed gleefully much to the displeasure of his two friends.

"You damn traitor!" Shouted the bald teen with tears streaming down his face.

"Go to hell you bastard! How the hell did you get a girlfriend before us!" Said the glasses wearing one with tears of pain, sorrow and jealousy streaming down his face. 

'So canon is starting. Meh! I'll just let Issei deal with it until the Kokabiel incident. That's someone I want to fight!' I thought as an excited smile made its way onto my face. 

Seth didn't notice it but his aura flared causing a slight wave, though it was brief to his 'luck' no beings sensed it.

Calming down I made my way to school it's not like I could interfere with the earlier events like the Raynare and Rizer incidents.

I have nothing to gain from interfering in those arcs. Issei and the others can deal with that.

A small blue circle appeared in the palm of my hand. A fireball about the size of a basketball appeared over it. 

For a guy who have an Int and Wis stat over 100 human magic is pretty easy for me. Though I'm still a rookie at using it.

Not only that thanks to the magic circle it also makes my magic use much more efficient, well the mana manipulation skill does the same but still having a magic circle will be incredibly useful in the long run. 

Though it's still a one percent decrease it'll still be very useful when I fire off certain spells. 

Though I'll need to alter and improve upon my magic circle myself. I haven't been taught yet as I just simply bought a basic book on this subject. 

This magic circle is just one that was ready made, a mass-produced product meant to help magicians get a better grasp of magic. 

Thanks to my studies I now know certain things like teleportation, barrier magic and communication. 

Though they are much to be desired, just a tap from me using fifty five percent of my strength was able to break it. 

Which all became skills, at first when I used these spells with the calculations I came up with, I tried them without the magic circle and used pure mana manipulation and I was able to do the same spells. 

However I should improve on my magic circle and practice mana manipulation more, as there are a massive number of flaws in the circle. 

Another thing to note was that I always wondered how magic circles were used in DxD as how does someone use one, it turns out it works on intent and that it's literally attached to your soul, it takes a small amount of magic power to create one barely even a percentage of my mp really. 

So anytime you intend or desire on using magic a magic circle will appear or you can just use without it, though it'll be much less efficient. 

Not only that spells are also recorded into the circles, which is probably how Vasco Strada was able to locate the weaknesses in certain spells and nullify them, though it's still fully possible to use the spells without the circles, honestly some spells are so energy efficient that it isn't needed like the Yokai's use of transformation magic.

"Welp that's enough magical research for now, time to get some shut eye."
