Chapter 122: Chap-119

The moment Merlin disappeared from this world, a red figure appeared at the place where he disappeared.

Wearing a red corset dress with a V-neck, Amelia looked at the particle energy remaining in the void, her expression flashing. "What Sam said is true," she murmured, extending her hand to feel the void.

Sam had already seen her when he returned to the Underworld after his death. In addition to asking about the extinct body, he also brought Merlin's words to her. She had immediately checked Merlin's Nether Beach, but the other party seemed to appear out of thin air, without any trace of the Nether Beach, and his aura was incompatible with this world.

After Amelia failed to find Merlin's Nether Beach, she began to believe Sam's words. However, given the gravity of the world's situation, she had secretly observed him after sending Sam back. She didn't expect Merlin to suddenly vanish, leaving this world.

Looking at the void where he disappeared, a sudden panic gripped her heart. Would he return? Had she missed the way to save this world?

Merlin's Tuning Shop.

As the light particles gathered, Merlin once again stepped out of the passage with the suspended flying sword and returned to the lounge.

"Just right..." The armor quickly turned into a backpack, now smoother and equipped with an extra layer of metal bones. These were the exoskeleton devices he had added in the central node city.

Glancing at the clock, he noticed that exactly twenty-four hours had passed. The 100 million reputation points consumed were sufficient to re-enter the game world, but now, the main focus was transforming the technology he brought into real-world power.

With offline platforms gaining influence, they would soon attract attention once the US resolved the Los Santos incident. Though Merlin possessed heavy weapons, they weren't enough to confront a behemoth like the US. The sale of technologies like bionic humans would undoubtedly draw attention, so deterrent weapons had to be developed quickly.

"Look and see her eyes, they glow..." The bell suddenly rang. Merlin pressed the connect button, and Pepper's voice came from the other side.

"Merlin, the day after tomorrow is Christmas. The Baymax robot medical conference is scheduled to be held in the Garden Square. Representatives from various foundations will attend. As the designer, don't be late!"

Because Baymax had gained immense popularity online, it attracted attention from many medical aid foundations and hospitals. Whether as a representative of cute robots or as a hospital assistant, Baymax was a hit.

To promote Baymax, Merlin submitted a script to Disney. With the release of the Super Marines animation containing Iron Man elements, the character quickly became popular. The movie's adorable depiction of Baymax helped soften the public impact of the Lizard incident and the Los Santos events.

Even before its release, Stark Industries' Baymax robot had its reservation button activated. The animation was adapted from Marvel comics, and Merlin saw it as a good deed.

"Okay, I'll be there on time." Merlin turned on the computer, where a flood of emails appeared. Sol automatically filtered out those from Stark Industries.

"Phew, finally some good news after a rough time. And thank you to your assistant Melinda—she's been a great help," said Pepper.

The two exchanged pleasantries before ending the call. Merlin looked at the calendar: Christmas was a little over a week away. The exhibition was bound to draw massive crowds.

"Merlin!" Arcee approached with a worried look. She hadn't moved for twenty-four hours. Without Merlin's prior warning, she might have rushed in to check.

"Don't worry, I'm fine." Merlin smiled before turning to Optimus Prime and his companions peeking in from the backyard.

"What's wrong?"

"Well... something's up," Bumblebee admitted as he and the others withdrew in embarrassment.

"I'll be there shortly," Merlin assured them before turning to Arcee, who remained worried.

Arcee's Gundam transformation needed prioritizing. Merlin debated whether the printer could replicate precious metals like vibranium or adamantium. Biometal seemed sufficient, though incorporating android elements into a gigantic Gundam felt inconsistent.

"Let's go; it's likely a Decepticon matter."

Judging by recent events, Decepticons and Autobots had probably arrived on Earth. Someone in Chicago had even filmed a mysterious robot incident.

"Um." Arcee nodded.

In the backyard, Optimus Prime and the others had transformed into Autobot forms, looking ready to leave.

"Merlin, my companions have arrived, and it's time for us to go," said Optimus Prime reluctantly.

"Thank you for your hospitality, but we cannot stay while the Megatron crisis remains unresolved," added Ratchet.

"My friend, we'll be back soon. Hope we can race again!" Bumblebee grinned.

"Exciting!" Bumblebee gave Merlin a thumbs-up.

"You're the first friend I've recognized here!" Tiepi said boldly.

On Cybertron, Dr. Q was a master inventor with countless gadgets. Merlin recalled Hot Rod's time-slowing bomb, developed by Dr. Q.

"I'm looking forward to it!" Merlin replied.

"This isn't a farewell for life. We'll meet again. Stay safe!" Merlin waved as androids emerged from the workshop.

"If needed, they can assist or provide cover," Merlin explained.

"Oh... I want to cry!" Bumblebee hugged Merlin emotionally.

Optimus Prime and the others departed, leaving Arcee as Merlin's guardian.
