Chapter 315: Cleaning up 306

Xu Lanzhou, who was in the Sirius Galaxy, desperately wanted to return to Earth to apologize to Bai Zhongqi. However, she could not leave this place, as the remaining Teizene Fleet would soon arrive in the Sirius Galaxy. The Chancellor's orders had been issued, to completely annihilate the Teizene Fleet within the Sirius Galaxy. Xu Lanzhou could only wait in agony, as for now there was no way to deliver a heavy blow to the Teizene people who could not interrupt their warp.

Normal warp speed travel allowed for mid-journey stops and changes of destination, but not for the warp route that enters and exits the Danlu Interstellar Cloud, because the spaceships would pass through a space barrier where no matter exists. If travel were interrupted at this time, losing the protection of the warp bubble, the spaceship might get stuck in the space barrier, never able to escape this void.

"The remaining Teizene Fleet must already know that their main force has already been annihilated by the mighty Chancellor on Earth, but they cannot escape warp speed, so they must stop over at Sirius. Afterwards, it is quite likely that the Teizene people will choose to turn around and leave, abandoning this invasion that has already lost any chance of winning," analyzed Xu Lanzhou standing in front of the star map.

"However, they should know that they can't escape. In this fleet, the only one with the capability for secondary warp flight was the flagship that had already been sunk by Homeland Titan, and the other warships do not have such capability. Otherwise, they would have organized a second force to attack Earth already. Even if they turn back immediately after reaching Sirius, by the time they return to Frost River Galaxy, they will encounter our fleet that has long been waiting there," she continued.

Xu Lanzhou's logic was very clear, indeed it was a predicament from which the Teizene people could not escape. They were already fighting in a strange star region a thousand light-years away, and what they thought was a lamb turned out to be a ferocious wolf, a fate that seemed inevitable.

Xu Lanzhou had two complete strategic fleet groups at her disposal, and although the four hundred-plus warships were fewer in number than the Teizene Fleet, Linyin's introduction of the anti-shield sharing technique helped Xu Lanzhou to immediately overload the Teizene Fleet's shields. Following that, Star Alliance Fleet attacking the Teizene Fleet was like using a sharp sword to poke a bunch of chickens.

Even Bai Zhongqi had lost interest in this battle, which was even larger in scale than the previous one. Even if Xu Lanzhou did not command, and a newly graduated student from the Star Alliance Military Academy were to do so, the battle could not be lost.

At this moment, Bai Zhongqi was controlling the Homeland Titan as it slowly sank into the Earth's atmosphere. After all, Homeland Titan was not a true Titan and despite its tremendous power, Bai Zhongqi primarily used it as an administrative and industrial center for the Star Alliance.

In reality, there was no need to completely relocate the inhabitants of Spratly Island during its transformation into a warship; this was also done with the safety of the residents in mind.

Following the battle, Homeland Titan had become well-known to the people of Earth. Everyone knew that the true nature of Spratly Island was a tremendously powerful warship, although in reality, it should be the other way around.

Some people might worry that Spratly Island would continue to be used as a warship, and so might consider moving out of Spratly Island after some thought; after all, the Star Alliance's transformation of the world had been rapid and deep, with many cities already entering a new era. Others might find living on a giant warship to be a very cool thing and may choose to move in."

Regardless, Bai Zhongqi did not interfere with people's thoughts. The Star Alliance was now vast enough that Earthlings alone could not fully develop even the places within the Interstellar Cloud, let alone think of expanding into other star regions.

Sitting there thinking about various matters, Bai Zhongqi noticed his assistant, Zero, lying on one side, batting her beautiful big eyes at him.

"What are you doing?" Bai Zhongqi asked.

Zero's smile contained a hint of shyness as she said, "Just looking at you, don't mind me."

But soon, she added, "This war, I feel like I'm suffocating. The Teizene people put too much pressure on us at first, and you've maintained an amazing composure all along. It's a bit, well, a bit cool."

This time it was Bai Zhongqi's turn to be slightly embarrassed and shy, being teased by a subordinate like this.

However, Bai Zhongqi also noticed from this war that Zero had become very different from the warship AI he had first encountered. Although her beautiful appearance and stunning figure hadn't changed, unlike the previous Sacred Falcon, which responded to his commands in a very mechanical and precise way, Zero now had complete emotional fluctuations, ebbing and flowing with the situation.

Of course, Bai Zhongqi did not blame her for this; Zero still completed the various tasks she should do very well. Some things went wrong, but they were not Zero's fault. She still retained some characteristics of an AI assistant and would never presume to make decisions for her master.

Suddenly curious, Bai Zhongqi wondered what it would be like if he obtained more Soul Stones and turned a large number of Bionic Humans into species with souls?

At this moment, Zero asked Bai Zhongqi, "Your Majesty, this crisis has been resolved, but I don't know if the Teizene will continue to invade the Star Alliance. If they come again..."

Bai Zhongqi spoke emphatically, "When they come again, the Star Alliance won't have just seven hundred warships; if they have two thousand, then the Star Alliance will also have two thousand!" Stay tuned for updates on My Virtual Library Empire

These were not just empty words from Bai Zhongqi. The victory of this battle had greatly boosted Earth's morale, and even many extraterrestrial races he had liberated, like the warriors from the Emerald Sea Star, had also strengthened their sense of belonging to the Star Alliance through this war.

Bai Zhongqi added, "Currently, our warships need Star Warriors to achieve secondary warp speed travel, and Emerald Sea Star is our unique incubator for Star Warriors. In the time we have controlled Emerald Sea Star, several new Star Warriors have already emerged. If we migrate more people to Emerald Sea Star, it is natural that we will gain more Star Warriors capable of driving more secondary warp speed ships. So, the next focus of Star Alliance's migration will be Emerald Sea Star and Cygnus 61 Star System's Lieque Star."

Zero curiously inquired, "Emerald Sea Star has the advantage of giving birth to Star Warriors, and Lieque Star is rich in resources itself, but we also have the Eden Galaxy with seven habitable planets comparable to Earth. Shouldn't this galaxy be a priority for development?"

Bai Zhongqi explained, "The greatest value of the seven habitable planets in the Eden Galaxy lies in their living space and ecological resources. Development is certainly necessary, but it should be conducted on a small scale with a strategy that protects planetary resources. Emerald Sea Star and Lieque Star each have the potential to become important administrative stars, which is why they take precedence."
