From Nemises To Lovers

Chapter 46: Chapter 46: Breaking Point

Titan Holdings had underestimated them.

They thought Isabella and Alexander would fold under pressure.

But instead?

They had just started fighting back.

Titan's First Misstep

Damian stormed into Alexander's office, holding up his phone. "They're panicking."

He tossed the device onto Alexander's desk. The screen displayed an internal Titan Holdings memo—one that had been leaked to financial insiders.

The subject line read:

URGENT: DAMAGE CONTROL NEEDED IMMEDIATELY

Isabella scanned the contents. Titan's lawyers were scrambling to contain the fraudulent audit scandal that Claire had exposed. At the same time, the hacked financial records were leading back to a Titan-affiliated cyber firm—just as Damian had predicted.

Alexander smirked. "They're making mistakes."

Claire folded her arms. "They're moving fast to cover their tracks. That means they're afraid."

Isabella's heart pounded. "Then we need to hit harder before they recover."

Forcing Titan's Hand

Alexander turned to Damian. "What's their next move?"

Damian exhaled. "They'll try to shut us up—one way or another."

Isabella clenched her fists. "Then we take the fight to them."

She grabbed her phone and began typing.

Anonymous Tip: Titan Holdings connected to illegal corporate surveillance. Expect proof soon.

Claire's eyes widened. "You're forcing them to react publicly?"

Isabella's jaw tightened. "Yes. If they scramble to discredit us, they'll expose even more of their network."

Alexander's smirk returned. "Let's see how well they handle the spotlight."

The Unexpected Threat

As soon as the leak went public, the response was immediate.

News stations picked up the story. Investors began questioning Titan's activities.

Then—Isabella's phone rang.

An unknown number.

She hesitated before answering. "Who is this?"

A low, chilling voice spoke.

"You should have walked away, Ms. Carter."

Her blood ran cold.

The voice continued. "You have no idea what you've started. If you don't back down, we will end you."

The call went dead.

Isabella's hands shook as she lowered the phone. She looked up at Alexander, whose eyes had turned dangerously dark.

"What happened?" he asked, voice sharp.

She swallowed hard. "Titan just made it personal."

Alexander's expression hardened. "Then it's time we do the same."

Because now?

This wasn't just business.

It was war.
