Chapter 307: Core Members of the Creator Organization
Elamore Bio-Pharmaceutical Company had many biological laboratories which were scattered across several countries, with some even located in underdeveloped third-world countries.
For Elamore to conduct drug experiments, especially those involving Superpower Potions that affect Superpower Users, they needed test subjects.
The initial experiments could be carried out on animals, but as the research progressed, human trials were inevitable.
If these laboratories were established in the White Eagle Federation, it would have been inconvenient to perform human experiments. Yet, in third-world countries, during the Abyss Era, order was on the brink of collapse, and capital could virtually do as it pleased in poor and backward nations.
The SPA Superpower Potions that were sold within Da Xia's territory were mainly produced in third-world countries like Java, Luzon, and Siam.
There were 13 Elamore biological labs in these countries, all of which were known to the public, and even more that were undisclosed.
Yet, these labs were not actually under Elamore's name but were registered under various shell companies, although research funding came from Elamore or other affiliated companies.
The reason for this logistical arrangement of the labs was quite simple: it made it easy to disassociate in the event of any problem.
After all, Elamore was one of Blue Star's top ten bio-pharmaceutical companies and needed to maintain its public reputation.
...
Three months earlier, the Iron Blood Investigation Bureau began investigating the production and distribution channels of Superpower Potions, and held extensive information in their hands.
However, as the investigation followed the distribution network of the Superpower Potions, it inevitably led outside the country.
The Iron Blood Investigation Bureau was primarily responsible for investigating supernatural events within the country and supervising Superpower Users. Superpower User organizations outside of the country were outside their jurisdiction.
Precisely because they could not handle external affairs, Da Xia established the Dragon Power Mercenary Corps.
Dragon Power had a military background but was not part of the military hierarchy; it was a Mercenary Organization that could accept foreign contracts and carry out missions abroad.
Therefore, matters that were difficult for Iron Blood to handle could be managed by Dragon Power.
After the production and distribution channels of the Superpower Potions were thoroughly investigated, the case was transferred from Iron Blood to Dragon Power.
The Dragon Power Mercenary Corps communicated with the third-world countries where the Superpower Potions were rampant, then accepted contracts, deployed teams of Power Users, and destroyed the production and distribution companies of the Superpower Potions.
In just three days, Elamore's labs established in third-world countries like Java and Siam were completely destroyed.
Those caught manufacturing and trafficking the Superpower Potions faced severe charges and were executed by firing squad.
Some researchers from the biological labs were captured and brought back to the country for trials.
In three days, Elamore Group had lost 17 labs and 6 Superpower Potion manufacturing plants, and the sales network that had been established in the countries surrounding Da Xia was uprooted.
Events were far from over. As key individuals from the Superpower Potion distribution channels were captured and interrogated, revealing more clues, the investigation continued to pursue the trail and further destroy this industry chain that was undermining the foundation of human civilization.
...
On the evening of the day when more than ten Elamore laboratories and pharmaceutical plants worldwide were destroyed,
013 reappeared at the Tea-fork Mountain training field.
The same sunset glow tinged the clouds at the horizon as red as flaming fish scales.
Black Crow didn't circle in the sky but landed directly on the ground, revealing his form.
"You need to find a way to stop Dragon Power's actions," said 013, his tone even somewhat urgent.
"What actions are you referring to?" Lu Heng feigned ignorance.
"Stop playing dumb. Dragon Power has destroyed over a dozen biological labs and pharmaceutical plants in the last three days," said 013, his tone turning somewhat unfriendly.
"What does that have to do with the organization?" Lu Heng replied, slipping on his boots and glancing up at him.
013 fell silent.
He had never disclosed information about the Elamore Bio-Pharmaceutical Group to Lu Heng.
In other words, without additional information, Lu Heng wouldn't have known that the Elamore Bio-Pharmaceutical Group was controlled by the Creator Organization.
013 stated firmly, "Your current task is to prevent Dragon Power from continuing to destroy Elamore's labs and pharmaceutical plants."
"How do I stop them? That is an entire Mercenary Corps, and they have military backing," Lu Heng replied, spreading his hands.
"You are the leader of Dragon Power."
"I'm the Honorary Group Leader; I don't get involved in the day-to-day," Lu Heng corrected him.
"I know you can do it!" 013 demanded, only interested in the results, no matter the means.
After a moment's thought, Lu Heng asked, "Are you saying that Elamore is controlled by the organization?"
"You don't need to know that."
"When it's time to work, you come to me, yet you haven't mentioned that the organization controls one of the world's top ten pharmaceutical groups. What do you take me for?" Lu Heng's tone was exceptionally cold.
"I advise you to do as I say," 013 threatened.
"What if I don't listen?" Lu Heng looked up, fixing him with a sharp stare, as an arrow-like aura pressed down.
013 felt a tightness in his chest, a surge of imminent danger, but he continued to threaten, "You had better understand your own position. You are a member of the organization. If Da Xia's Military knows your identity, do you think you could remain free?"
As of now, the Creator Organization was still officially neutral on the surface, and despite whatever it had done in the shadows, no country had designated it as a dangerous organization.
Nevertheless, the Daxia Military had already taken notice of this organization and had been conducting secret investigations.
Of course, investigations aside, as long as the organization was not listed as a threat, the military would not take any action.
