Chapter 14: Chapter 14 This is the Little Ancestor
"Glug! Glug!"
All the onlookers swallowed hard in fear as they watched this scene unfold. What kind of stomp was that? The power was so immense—it broke bones upon impact, and this was someone even Wang Yan referred to as "brother."
Wang Yan had managed to become the hotel manager partly through his own efforts, but a significant reason was Chang Hong. Every time he spent money, he claimed it was for the sake of looking after his "brother," which made the hotel take him seriously and eventually led to his promotion as the hotel manager.
As easy as breaking something.
"Scram!" Ling Tianyu glanced at the still-screaming Chang Hong and kicked him beside the shocked Qin Tianyi, thinking that he wouldn't trouble them, but they shouldn't come looking for trouble either.
Qin Li stood by, clueless about what to say, as they didn't give her any face and just started the fight.
"Still not leaving? Planning to treat you to a feast or what?" Dongfang Yan sipped his red wine and looked at the stunned Qin Li and the others; if they didn't leave, he wouldn't mind making them.
Qin Li and the others dared not stay any longer and quickly turned to leave dejectedly. As for Wang Yan, Meng Xiaoyun and his group helped him out of the private room. The brothers of Chang Hong could barely stand.
"Brother Yu, after this, I'll make all these people leave Northern Sea, what a bunch of nobodies." Dongfang Yan said, disgruntled.
"No need for that, it's unnecessary to fuss over these people," Ling Tianyu waved his hand, feeling it was a waste of time to deal with them.
"Okay, as Brother Yu says." Dongfang Yan nodded and clinked his glass with his Brother Yu.
Li Yun was now incredibly impressed; to fight on command was truly heroic. This was what being a man was about.
Especially when seeing that guy Wang Yan—so what if he had a little strength? Did that warrant such an arrogant attitude, as if everyone owed him something?
The meal lasted a solid three hours before concluding.
"Farewell, Young Master Yan, Young Master Feng." Ling Tianyu and the three others came out, ready to leave the hotel, as a middle-aged man in a suit diligently saw them off.
"Damn it! Who touched my brother?" Just a few steps out, the revolving door of the hotel suddenly spun quickly, and more than twenty people with tattoos and even scars on some of their faces entered the hotel, evidently people who had been part of the underworld.
"Little Wang!" The middle-aged man immediately recognized one of the two people being carried behind.
Wang Yan now had comminuted fractures in both legs; the recent assessment indicated that it would be difficult to heal. Even if the bones were set, he wouldn't regain much mobility and could just about walk, which posed the question of how his "brother" would handle his future.
"We have ill-intended visitors," Dongfang Yan chuckled, looking at his Brother Yu.
"Master Cong, this little bastard is the one who did it; goddamn it, I'm going to shred him!" Chang Hong was in agony, as his leg had effectively been sentenced—it couldn't be reattached, and it might even require amputation.
Ling Tianyu, when dealing out the punishment, really took special care of Chang Hong. This guy had a big mouth. Wang Yan might still have a chance to stand again, but that was only due to their past as classmates; Chang Hong had no such standing to speak of.
"Ling Tianyu, I'm far from finished with you. How could you be so ruthless? If my husband can't get back on his feet, I, Qin Tianyi, will spend whatever it takes to buy your damned life," sobbed Qin Tianyi, her tears flowing freely. This was her husband, after all, the one she'd obtained a marriage certificate with, and both sets of parents had met; they were about to get married, and now his legs were broken—how were they supposed to live after this?
Qin Tianyi felt no more affection for Ling Tianyu, only boundless hatred.
"Sister-in-law, don't worry. He messed with my brother; we can't let this slide. I'll turn this bastard and these three pieces of trash into a pile of meat," Master Cong threw the cigarette he was clenching in his mouth to the ground, twisting his neck, ready to go on a killing spree today.
Did no one bother to find out who I am? Daring to mess with my brother here, do they no longer wish to live or what?
"Thank you, big brother," Qin Tianyi quickly wiped away her tears and thanked Master Cong.
Qin Li and the other classmates standing at the back didn't leave, especially Li Fei and Qin Li, who were extremely upset by what Ling Tianyu had done earlier. He showed them no respect, and it infuriated them.
Today, let's see how Ling Tianyu keeps his cool. This is Master Cong, a man with real connections—one you don't mess with unless you've got the strength.
"Master Cong, I want him kneeling in front of me, begging for mercy. I want him to grovel like an eel on the streets, begging for the rest of his life," Wang Yan burned with an anger even fiercer and more venomous than Chang Hong's.
"Don't worry; leave it to me," Master Cong signaled Wang Yan to be at ease; after all, Wang Yan was a brother he highly regarded. Anytime he came here for drinks and didn't have to pay, that was what brothers were for. Messing with his brother was courting death. They'd have to ask for his permission first.
"Guo Cong, take your men and leave immediately," before Ling Tianyu and his group could step forward, the middle-aged man who had sent them off earlier stepped up and pointed at Guo Cong's nose as he spoke.
"Fuck, Zhang Yaozu, are you tired of living?" Guo Cong couldn't believe this guy dared to tell him to leave. Usually, he'd come here, and how much had he spent? He even had a Supreme Copper Membership Card at this place. There weren't even ten people in the whole Northern Sea who had that card.
He dared to tell me to leave? Does he no longer want his position? Well, I wouldn't mind using some tactics to have my brother Wang Yan take over as the manager.
Wang Yan was a department manager, while Zhang Yaozu was the general manager—a position second only to the hotel's Director, with authority over a thousand and respect from many.
"Guo Cong, I'll say it one more time, leave," Zhang Yaozu was in no mood for nonsense with Guo Cong. This was getting out of hand, involving both Young Master Yan and Young Master Feng. It wouldn't matter who came, even the renowned tough guys from Northern Sea wouldn't dare speak like this, let alone insult them by calling them trash. Such audacity was simply courting death.
"Wang Yan, you're no longer the department manager at this hotel. You've been fired," Zhang Yaozu was livid, and although he didn't know what had transpired between Wang Yan and Ling Tianyu, judging by the recent events alone, if this matter reached the Director's ears, he'd be in deep trouble.
"Old Zhang, you're quite familiar with this Guo Cong?" Nan Feng spoke up for the first time, questioning Zhang Yaozu.
"No... not very familiar. He's a regular patron here; I'd say we're just acquainted. He's a Supreme Copper Member," Zhang Yaozu immediately distanced himself from Guo Cong. This was not someone he could afford to offend; the hotel belonged to Nan Feng's family, and he still needed to curry favor with them.
Young Master Feng seemed to be getting angry. Guo Cong, if you're the reason I lose my job as general manager, I won't let you off easily.
"You now, cancel his Supreme Copper Membership Card immediately. If I see this man here again, you can pack your bags and get lost!" Nan Feng commanded coldly.
"Yes, yes, yes," a sweaty Zhang Yaozu was relieved he wasn't blamed. Otherwise, he wouldn't even know how to explain himself.
"Shit! Brothers, charge," Guo Cong was now burning with rage. Who did this punk think he was, trying to cancel his precious membership card? Did he really think he was the Heavenly King Laozi?
