Chapter 428: Void Stalker - Explorer
Lein sharpened his gaze, trying to analyze the strange creature they were fighting. Besides the giant, many smaller creatures moved around it, seemingly forming their own army.
"What kind of creature are they fighting?" Lein asked, his curiosity growing.

"That is a Cosmic Being," Aleron explained. "These creatures emerge naturally from the void. Their body parts are highly valuable and can be used for various purposes—weapon crafting, alchemy, construction, even high-level technology."
Lein nodded in understanding, then shifted his attention to the information panel that had opened before him. A holographic display showed data about the space vessel currently engaged in battle.
[ Space Vessel ]
Captain: Veyron
Type: Void Stalker - Explorer
Speed: 140,000 km/h
Length: 5 km
Defense: 1,000,000 points
Abilities: Acceleration through space and void up to 60 million km (Cooldown: 3 hours)
The ship was slightly smaller than theirs, but its sleek design indicated that it was built for speed and agility in the void.
"It even has the captain's name…" Lein murmured, his eyebrows slightly furrowed. How was this information appearing so easily?
Aleron, who was also paying attention to the data, turned to Tauriel. "Lady Tauriel, do you know who Captain Veyron is?" he asked.
Tauriel shook her head. "No. But judging by the way they fight, they are most likely from the Cosmic Hunter tribe."
Lein chose to remain silent, though his mind was filled with questions. There had to be something special about that ship, especially if the system automatically identified its owner as Captain Veyron.
Meanwhile, the battle in the distance grew fiercer. The space vessel continued firing high-speed energy lasers at the giant, but their attacks seemed ineffective. A transparent protective layer enveloped the creature's body, blocking every incoming shot.
The giant flapped its dragonfly-like wings, generating an immense pressure wave. Its eight front limbs moved with incredible speed, slicing through every attack that approached with terrifying precision.
On the other side, one of the beasts from the Cosmic Hunters' ranks opened its jaws, spewing bright blue flames toward the giant dragonfly-like creature. However, within seconds, the colossal insect flapped its wings rapidly, generating a powerful backdraft. The flames that were supposed to burn its body instead reversed direction, sweeping back toward their origin.
Lein watched the battle in silence, a sense of awe glimmering in his eyes.
Meanwhile, a massive serpent, towering over 100 meters high, slithered through the flow of energy with surprising agility, approaching the cosmic dragonfly. In a swift motion, its enormous body coiled around the creature's tail, attempting to restrain it. But then, something strange happened—the cosmic dragonfly suddenly vanished in an instant, reappearing elsewhere as if it had moved without a trace.
The Kings aboard Captain Veyron's ship did not cease their assault. Maintaining perfect control over their star beasts, they relentlessly attacked the cosmic entity, relying on a combination of raw physical strength and energy-based attacks.
"Master Lein, do you want to help?" Aleron asked casually. His gaze remained fixed on the battle, but his tone suggested that the final decision rested with Lein. Aiding the Cosmic Hunters would mean delaying their search for the Cosmic Core, something that could pose a problem for their mission.
Lein did not answer immediately. Instead, he activated his gear one by one. A dim purple light flickered from several panels on his wrists, processing data and adjusting combat preparations. After a brief moment, he finally nodded.
"Yes... I want to test my strength as well." His voice was firm. Aside from his encounters with Guardian Aurelius, Hanes, and the others, Lein had never fought a cosmic being directly. This was a rare opportunity to measure his abilities.
Aleron gave a faint smile. "Alright... Let's get ready."
Beside him, Tauriel was already prepared. Her aura surged, her body radiating a refined energy that signaled she had entered combat mode.
Without wasting any time, the three of them left the ship, shooting through the vast darkness of space. Their students remained on board, maintaining the defensive formation.
Laras and the others could only watch from a distance. They knew this was not the time to interfere. Their duty now was to stay with the Guardian, train, and grow stronger.

"Someone's coming."
A middle-aged man with a long scar across his face observed the approaching figures. He wore a worn-out Void Beast leather coat, a sign that he was an experienced fighter who had survived countless battles.
He wasn't the only one who sensed the presence of Lein and his companions.
Beside him stood another middle-aged man with a calm expression, clad in a long black robe adorned with faintly glowing purple patterns that shimmered under the starlight. His sharp gaze was filled with vigilance.
The last of the three was a broad-shouldered man clad in magnificent gold-and-red armor. A griffin-wing emblem was engraved on his chest, signifying his high-ranking position within their group.
"I don't think they have any ill intentions," the man in the purple robe remarked after observing them for a moment. His voice was neutral, yet his eyes remained keen and watchful.
Moments later, Lein and his team finally arrived, stopping not far from the hunters' ship.
Aleron stepped forward first. He stood tall, his posture relaxed yet exuding unwavering confidence.
"We are not your enemies," he stated. Though his tone was light, there was a subtle pressure behind his words, enough to make it clear they were not to be taken lightly. "We saw this battle from afar and were intrigued to offer assistance."
The middle-aged man with a scar on his face—clearly one of the high-ranking hunters—narrowed his eyes, his gaze filled with caution. He stood firmly at the edge of the ship, observing Lein and his group's arrival with a cold expression.
"And why would you want to help?" His voice was deep, carrying a tone of distrust. "This is none of your concern."
Lein stepped forward, his shoulders relaxed, yet his eyes sharp as they locked onto the colossal dragonfly-like creature that continued to move swiftly, evading the hunters' attacks with a speed difficult to track with the naked eye. Its shimmering wings reflected the starlight, creating silver flashes amidst the darkness of the cosmic expanse.
