First The Prologue

Chapter 8

"Haaah.. I'm bored"

Right now the only thing I can do is look at the ceiling of my cabin.. This is my 4th cycle of breaking my dantian and I miss 2 cycles of my 8 month mastering the last steps. Supposedly I can reach 6 cycles in 1 year here but I misjudged my decision to cultivate here in our place.. Only in the past 2 months did I realize that it's best to cultivate in the cave and it became 2 times faster when I gathered my qi. I guess the quality of the environment has a real impact when cultivating. Still at least I learned the hard way.. Also it's been 3 weeks since I became paralyzed and waiting to recover and the one nursing me right now is Grandpa Herbert. Also, I still faint when breaking my own dantian but at least after that I can wake up the next morning with only pain and agony in the first hour.. Wooo.. I need to learn fast so that the suffering I have now will be gone but I need more at least hundreds of times. After my recovery, I can now learn the 2nd cultivation! Now I can learn some martial arts movements like the 8 palm of heaven, Emperor Swordsmanship Chapter 1: The Beginning, Plum Blossom Technique: Colorful Strike or something like that which I made it up. I think it is also good to learn some magic now so that it will be convenient for me in the long run also-

Someone came to my cabin and it is Grandpa Herbert and he has some medicine now.

"Hello Ayaka, are you bored again?"

"Yes Grandpa as usual..This is more torture than having pain when breaking my dantian.."

"Yes yes I totally relate to you."

"By the way Grandpa, I think it is the right time to teach me some basic magic. Do you think you can make space?"

"Totally! We even discuss if we introduce the magic now so that your time is not wasted."

Upon checking me up, Grandpa made an OK sign which indicated I'm fully healed.

"Eh? Did my recovery get faster?"

"Certainly, we estimate that you will recover 5 days from now. But right now is a shocking one!”

“Can’t believe that I'm already healed! Should we tell this to Uncle Tom and Grandpa Bing?”

“Yes, we should tell this so that your progress is good.”

“Okay, grandpa!”

“But before we tell this to them I need to see again if your other parts are ok.”

“Okay.”

After that Grandpa Herbert thoroughly inspected my insides and every nook and cranny of it and after 20 or 30 minutes he finished his inspection and after that there is no abnormality or anything that’s been damaged. We go outside to tell the two that my recovery is now complete and the two also inspect me because it is only the 4th cycle and the recovery rate is faster than they anticipated. After that they cook me some delicious foods as always and then they advise me to go around and relax first. Going around in the forest aimlessly made my mind go to the lake.

“Yes.. this is life..”

I lay down in the shade of the big tree near the lake and looking at it the scenery is quite good. The sky, the glimmering light in the lake, the wind that always has a good breeze whenever it touches my face.. It is so relaxing and this feeling makes me more sleepy and by the time I know it I fell asleep…

“Hey Ayaka! Wake up!”

“H-HUH?! What happened?”

“You fell asleep.”

“Oh.. right I’m on the side of the lake now.. So why did you wake me up?”

“Just questioning you if your recovery has been better?”

“Oh yeah! Are you the one who did that? If you did that thank you! Because of you it reduces the time of me being paralyzed after breaking my dantian.”

“No worry, I just tweak your body so that your full potential slowly surfaces.”

“What?”

“Exactly what you hear Ayaka, if you ask me what I do to your body it is simple. Remember that the cultivation technique you are learning right now has different spells right?”

“Yeah and If you see in my memories the way they do that is to be sure that this precious cultivation has it all. Which is ridiculous even by my standard. Also how come they can put spells in a cultivation?!”

“You see, I just remove those pesky anti or something and leave only 3 spells which is enough. Also you can put some spells in a cultivation just like a cursed book. If someone gives you permission you can obtain it. In this case they do this by action, which you can only obtain here in this world.”

“I see, I see, so what are those 3 spells?”

“I just say the first one which is anti-copy, you see if some have the ability to copy your technique with/out understanding and shit then you are doomed and it is unfair to fight those kinds of people! It’s like a hack if you don’t put a security feature like this one they will take it as grabbing a candy to a toddler. Also they will ignore the rules mostly so yeah this feature I put is quite good!”

“Hm.. I see your point. Those scumbags are the worst!”

“The second thing I did to your body is tinkering with your natural body.”

“Natural body?”

“Yes, your original body which has blood, organs, skeletal system, and many more. I tinkered with it so that the natural power you have helps you more. I don’t know who did that but he/she is a loser!”

“Really?! So what kind of power do I have?”

"Spoiler! You have a strong body but I don't know if it's par of others but definitely a strong one."

"Thank goodness! Also, can I have a chance to bring back my natural body? Because you know.. I only have this mana and ki system"

"In your case, you can bring back your own body with my help but it really takes time like reeeeeeeally long."

"Is there any way to speed it up?"

"There is a way but the chance now is low so yeah just deal with it as of now."

"Ok and by the way, how long should I stay here?"

"Give me an hour or so"

"Why so long?"

"For my entertainment."

"Huh???"

{In the real world side}

"Hey.. is this real?"

"Apparently yes…"

"What's happening to her right now?!"

A couple of minutes ago, when Ayaka closed her eyes. The three sense a great energy in the lake and all of them rush in this place and it is unexpected that the great energy they sensed is from their disciple Ayaka.

They track the energy Ayaka gathers and the way they see it. The energy in the surrounding being absorbed then some of the energy is being released in her body. All of the three are confused about what's happening right now.

But the only thing they’re sure of is one thing.. that is a new power within Ayaka has been released little by little. Her ki now is being condensed as of now and the way they see it. The ki, that being condensed right now is growing to the point the dantian itself might break.

All of them are worried to the point they cast different types of healing and barriers on Ayaka, preventing the disaster.. To their surprise they see the condensed ki spreading in her body with a great amount of speed. After that it goes back to dantian filling it little by little. The three now have a gist of what will happen after that and they move closer to Ayaka just like when they assist her breaking her own dantian this past months.

30 minutes passed and the dantian now is full and ready to break. At this point Bing will be the one who will break the dantian of Ayaka but unknown energy emerges in her body. That energy concentrated in her dantian and after that suddenly the dantian is broken.

The unknown power fuse with the body of Ayaka as if nothing happens. After that the three can't understand what is happening but they heal Ayaka's body regardless of what happened.

"I'm still dumbfounded on what is happening right now.."

"Me too, My understanding can't keep up with this…"

"This is too much even for me who lived here over a thousand years or so!"

"Just keep healing guys, we don't know what will happen next."

"Should we move her in the cabin?"

"I think it's best to treat her here. We might even get a clue on this."

The three of them continue to heal Ayaka.

{Ayaka's consciousness}

"HAHAHAHA!"

"Why are you suddenly laughing?"

"Oh, sorry it happens that I can't get enough of their face! HAHAHAHA"

"Stop laughing, I can't understand what's happening to you!"

"You will learn later. By the way, utilize your power now so that you can do much more. Also please learn some magic. It will speed up your growth."

"Oh by the way, your body now is on paralyzed state but only for 1 hour after that you can move again."

"Yep and per dantian break! Also you can see more improvements when you wake up."

"Yep! but the pain will also increase so yeah balance in all things! Another one, please tell this to your masters on what happened here and See ya later!"

Before I finish my sentence I find myself waking up and unable to move! Also my three masters are still healing me.

"Thank goodness! You're awake Ayaka!"

As I see on the face of Uncle Tom, he really looks worried.

"Sorry for the trouble I caused for both grandpas and uncle. I will tell you guys what happened to me. But first I need to be healed."

{1 Hour passed}

When my body can move I immediately tell them what happened to me and also the thing inside of me. I thought that they would bombard me with questions but right now they're thinking deeply. They weren't shocked but rather curious.. I think they already prepared themselves for another crazy event.

"Hmm.. this is definitely strange if you think about it.."

"I agree with you Bing, you know we are already a thousand years old here on this planet but this phenomenon.. We haven't experienced it."

"Yes this is definitely strange because right now I don't sense any anomaly be it flow or mana."

Three of them think deeply again.. but now I feel a little awkward because of silence..

"Ok Ayaka, we will consult this to @#$_&-+ because this case is a bizarre one. But you know we really should go there instead of racking our brain here."

"I second that."

"Me too."

All of us agree that consulting this to !@#$%^&* will make things easier. Now we go back to our place, while Grandpa Herbert call !@#$%^&* and a minute later, !@#$%^&* arrive. After arriving he checked my body if something is abnormal and after he confirmed that no abnormality occurred. He requested to enter my body.

“So, you see, entering Ayaka’s body will make things easier to understand and doing that I can perceive any types of feelings and energy but I can’t control the body of Ayaka.”

“I see, I see.. By doing that it can guarantee to interact that am I right?”

“Yes, Tom, that’s why this technique is really good for detecting abnormalities.”

“!@#$%^&*, can we learn this?”

“Sure, why not? After this I will give you some time Herbert.”

After that I lay down and the hand of !@#$%^&* place on my head and suddenly I feel warm and I close my eyes.

As I entered Ayaka’s body, I began to search where the past energies settled in her body and after that I confirmed that something unusual yet familiar presence and as I approached that thing a new dimension inside of her body appeared.

“Huh, so this is it..”

When I entered the space, it was so spacious and after that an unknown voice greeted me.

“Greeting !@#$%^&*, Welcome to my dimension!

“Hello, I am -”

‘Yeah yeah, I know you well since you are small.”

“!(wait.. She even said my name when she greeted me!)”

“Don’t be shocked as I know who you really are because I’m the one who babysits you when you’re little.. But you’re still little right now.. Anyway, I am only helping this girl and I don’t mean any harm~.”

‘What exactly are you..?”

“I’m just like you from the forgotten place~”

“R-Really?!”

“Yes~ but now you should go back.”

“But why?”

“Well you already know what I am and..”

“And what?”

“Nevermind~ by the way.. Just keep it secret from the others. Just say that an unfamiliar energy is forming and when you touch it, you have a great feeling of warmth or something.”

“Ok ok, I will not be questioning you anymore and it seems you know all and so, can I meet you again?”

“Yeah but after the mission of this girl, we will talk a lot. So this is the end for now ba bye.~”

“Ye-”

I was forcibly out of that dimension and I came to realize another unknown entity stronger than me lurking in this world..

After that I go back to the real world and explain to them what I saw. I just fake it till I make it after all that entity requested it.

“Eh? So that energy doesn’t talk to you? That is impossible! That one is so talkative so how come?”

“Maybe that energy only likes you?”

“No, I don’t fully accept this!”

“Anyway Ayaka, since that energy is no harm to you. You can now proceed to the 2nd cultivation of your training.”

“Oh! I forgot about that.”

“So, it’s still early. Why not introduce it, Bing?”

“We are actually thinking if we proceed now or just do it tomorrow but as you suggest it we might do it now.”

“Sweet! I can now perform some fancy movements! But can I also learn magic?”

“Yes, you can but basically we’re gonna do it after you manage to learn some movements, offense, and defense.”

“Ok, Master Herbert!”

“Ok, I’m gonna go now, just contact me again if a problem arises.”

“Ok, thank you as always!”

“No, problem Tom. Have a great day everyone!”

After !@#$%^&* left, Grandpa Bing introduced me to the 2nd cultivation which is the The way of the Martial Arts. In this book he discusses why Martial Art is created and how to utilize different kinds of techniques ranging from the hand, body, footwork, to how to handle different kinds of weapons. It will also teach me how to use qi with weapons, basically a sword qi or form coated with ki and other stuff like aura and telekinesis, just using ki only. He also said that after I learn how to manifest sword ki, then I will task to retrieve, hunt, and scout in different territories in this forest. Just like Grandpa Herbert said to me a year ago.

“So, Ayaka, the first thing you will do is to learn some modern martial arts. This way you can easily take the other martial arts from my world, be it a orthodox, unorthodox, demonic cult or something.”

“Eh? Why modern martial arts if I can learn the other way?”

“You know in my world most of the people there are using weapons and only a small number of people who are using their limbs as a weapon. When I learned modern martial arts it's the same as our martial arts but the only difference is the application and you know that modern martial arts tends to lean on combat sports while in my world it’s the way of life. But when it comes to your world or Tom’s world, the military are the ones who are close to my world.”

“I see Master.”

“So, get ready for your body and mind. You also learn how to activate your first cultivation, so get ready Ayaka because we are rarely taking a break.”

“Ok Master!”
